PROs - food taste mostly good , ambience , price , parking and seating CONs - felafel could be more crispy and fresh I rarely give 5 stars .. this place deserves it . Have a 4 star on food , because I felt the felafels could be more crispy and hot . They were a bit dry and felt not fresh . Even with this , I would want to give a 5 star overall .. Very nice location and I loved the ambience overall. Lots of place to sit and dine, both inside and outside .. I liked the outdoor seating arrangement . Lighting and ambience was good inside . Service was good . I lied all varieties of hummus . We tried 3-4 varieties and it tasted good . Nice and quick service . Parking was good . Tesla chargers available close by . A very good experience overall ...

They make online ordering super easy but unfortunately my meal wasn't made as ordered. Perhaps there are too many options? You can get a bowl, pita or wrap. Then pick couscous, various greens and your protein, hummus then tons of toppings. I went with a bowl with chicken and falafel. The chicken was dark meat. It was ok but that's not my preference. I would probably skip that next time. Falafel was good and had a little bit of a kick. They forgot to add hummus to my bowl! What I had was good but would have been better with hummus. The portions were generous for the price $12. I would go back and order in person to ensure accuracy.

Ordered a falafel fusion bowl. The rice was uncooked. The bowl was very dry. Service was normal. Ambience was good.

Such a great spot for quick lunch or dinner pickup! Amazing staff, they went above and beyond (even made fresh pita chips). Such a fresh and filling bowl packed with nutrients! I got half lemon chicken and half chicken shawarma with almost all the toppings other than the jalapeños and topped with the lemon dressing and a little bit of jalapeño. Even eating in, it's a really nice spot for casual dining! Would come back for sure

Glad to see this place open us as the North Brunswick area was missing a mediterranean place that's quick and light (not that there aren't mediterranean options, but it's a tad bit more formal and proper and maybe too heavy for lunch). Think Cava-lite spots. For someone like me who works from home, this ends up being a nice change-of-pace option. It seems that the place opened not too long ago. It's pretty easy to order - Chipotle style of course, with a few twists compared to its rivals. What interested me at first is that there were more vegetarian/vegan proteins outside of falafels. There was a vegan beef & a mushroom shawarma. I passed on both and stuck with the falafel bowl. The bowl itself wasn't bad. Got a good serving of food for lunch. Plenty of falafel balls, though if I could present a minor suggestion, it would be to make them more crispier. There were plenty of toppings per the menu, but I didn't see all of them available. Maybe first month adjustments? Also, if there was a way to label them, that would be real nice for someone like me. For nearly $15 it's pricey, but at least the food was good. I'll probably swing back here again.

Lots of parking in the convenient Shoppes in North Brunswick. Consider this Mediterranean Chipotle. I was really intimidated to try but it's very easy to understand and everything is build your own. 4 stars instead of 5 for the staff and lack of descriptions. I wish they offered descriptions of certain items, like tahini, harissa, etc. I asked the girl what the most popular item was and she just responded with a bowl. You pick a base - couscous, chickpeas or lettuce (spinach, kale and a mixed green option), proteins (vegetarian, lemon chicken, shawarma chicken, falafel, chickpeas) and toppings. You choose everything as you go. The food is very fresh. I wish the falafel had been hot but that's ok. Lemon chicken is in a thick cream sauce (I didn't realize that until after ordering). I had the roasted red pepper sauce and the jalapeño citrus sauce. Mango lemonade had a weird flavor to it. I wouldn't get it again. There were plenty of other options available. Good sized portion. Could probably split the bowl if you plan properly. Quite expensive at $14 for the bowl and $3 for the drink.

I love it here. I wish they had closer locations to my house. Until then, I will make the trip because it it so worth it. I try something different every time and every time, my meal is so flavorful! Highly highly recommend and Shiv always provides exceptional customer service!

This place opened a month ago and it's a great place to get quick, made to order Mediterranean food. I got the falafel bowl with greens, so many toppings and all the sauces. Love the vegan options. Go check it out!

Highly recommend, very fresh ingredients, friendly staff and kept clean. I've come here twice so far and ordered the bowls both times. Love the couscous it's so tiny but has flavor and mixes well with any combinations of meats and toppings. I've gotten the chicken shawarma both times because I like the spices and like it with the hummus and tzatziki spreads. Unlimited toppings! The falafel is crispy outside with soft herbaceous filling. The lemonades are all good, favorite is mango. Next time I will try the steak and lemon chicken.

Ordered a Greek Sandwich with no tomatoes and jalapeño and received this sad sandwich with barely enough meat, a slice of tomato, and some spinach... saddest sandwich in the history of sandwiches

Service was great! All the workers were so friendly and one in particular offered us a free drink - so nice! I tried their lemonade and it was refreshing & sweet and not too tangy. The food itself was very fresh and yummy. They cooked the falafels fresh so it was hot and crispy. I got the bowl with chicken shawarma and wow! There was so much flavor in my meal, especially from the hummus. My fave was the Harissa Hummus! My bowl was ~$15 but you could tell everything was great and good quality. There were lots of veggies so I felt good after devouring the whole bowl The place itself was very clean, music was good. Overall a nice place to chill with friends!

Banging!! The food was official tissue .. it's like a Mediterranean chipotle. I was a little intimidated by the vast variety of options. So I opted to build my own bowl and take a tour of the ingredients. I got da warm garbanzo beans wit couscous and farmers mix topped with tzatziki, zesty feta, roasted eggplant hummus, chicken schwarma, cabbage, olives, parsley, tomatoes, more feta and red onions. For starters it was a beautiful blend and high lm the spice end, which I loved. The flavors were plentiful and in abundance for sure. Now for the milkshake, this was my first time trying a vegan milkshake and that thang SLAPPED! It tasted like chocolate milk, somewhat on the slimmer end compared to the super thick milkshakes I'm accustomed too, but no complaints here. Nice chic set up and they had drake blaring in the background so it was def a vibe. Glad I stumbled across this gem. I'll totally be returning and suggesting this spot to others for sure.

Huge shoutout to Elleyse. She was amazing with us the first time, and when we came back with all the kiddos, she was incredibly patient, kind, and on top of everything. She made both visits feel special. The food was ridiculous. The porterhouse was amazing, and we got the Wagyu both times because it was that good. The chicken lollipops were incredible, the short rib mac and cheese was fire, and the truffle fries and Crispy Banging Shrimp were both huge hits. My wife and our friend loved the Spanish octopus. We also shared the bone-in chicken parm with spicy vodka penne, and it was awesome. Even the kids loved their chicken tenders and fries. The drinks were great too. Everything we tried was well made and paired perfectly with the meal. Dessert was next level. The tiramisu was awesome, and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake was amazing. I added a scoop of ice cream on the side myself, and it made it even better. The portion sizes are amazing too. Everything is big enough to share, and you'll still have plenty to bring home. Great vibe, great service, amazing drinks, and incredible food. We'll definitely keep coming back and bringing more friends. Highly recommend.

The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese were all fresh and flavorful. The grilled chicken cubes were juicy, tender, and seasoned perfectly. The salad was beautifully presented, and the olive oil and lemon dressing brought everything together. My only complaint is that the grilled chicken portion was extremely small, especially considering the price. I would also have liked a slightly larger overall salad. Despite that, the quality and flavor were excellent, and I would definitely order it again. Hummus - 5/5 The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of fresh flavor. It paired perfectly with the bread and was one of our favorite appetizers. Beautiful presentation, excellent taste, and very fresh. I just wish the serving size had been a bit larger. Calamari - 3/5 The calamari was served as tiny strips instead of rings, but it was crispy and cooked well. The homemade dipping sauce was absolutely amazing--the best calamari sauce I've ever had! The only disappointment was the portion size, which was very small for the price. Even so, the incredible sauce made this appetizer memorable, and I'd order it again just for that. Chicken Chops - 5/5 The grilled chicken was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The rice and vegetables were fresh and complemented the meal well. Everything looked beautiful on the plate. The only drawback was that the portion was smaller than expected for the price. Baklava - 4/5 The baklava was fresh, flaky, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. The pistachios tasted fresh, and it was a wonderful way to end the meal. Delicious dessert! But super small Overall Restaurant Review - 4/5 We had a wonderful dining experience at Namli Mediterranean & Turkish Cuisine. The restaurant was spotless, the staff was friendly and attentive, and every dish arrived beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect experience is that the portions are quite small for the price. If they offered slightly larger portions, it would be outstanding. Despite that, we would definitely return and highly recommend it for the quality of the food, excellent service, and clean, welcoming atmosphere.

They almost forgot to give us the side salad, but they remembered before we left. Now for the food... - The bread that we waited for- was doughy and undercooked. It had burnt pieces stuck to it and they were not shaped as nicely as their usual bread. - The hummus side that we ordered, which was almost $8, was a half filled half pint container (very small amount) of what appeared more like a sauce rather than the thick hummus we are accustomed t. I wouldn't order this again. - The salad was watery...they need to drain the water better - The rice was cold - I think it was sitting out too long - Now for the main event - the meats - we enjoyed the flavor. This saved our dinner, we did enjoy the meats. We called them about the bread and they were apologetic, and told us we can stop by for bread next time we are there. As this is one of my favorite restaurants, I want to give them an opportunity to do better next time! The afghan bread and their rice have alway been my favorite part of their meals! Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. I know things changed since the previous owner (older Greek man) no longer owned it. He used to stop by the tables and chat with customers and we noticed that the portions had become smaller. This time we came for lunch on a Sunday. Place was kind of empty, with the exception of 2 large tables. We ordered Saganaki and were informed by waitress that they no longer flambéd it table side. We still ordered and it was good although not melted like we remembered. Husband only ordered the lemon soup, which he said was good. My daughter and I both ordered beef and lamb gyros, I ordered it with Greek fries (with the Greek cheese over them) and my daughter ordered hers with lemon potatoes. Both gyros came dry, in hard shaved pieces and I barely ate my fries as they were worse than fast food fries and not the traditional Greek cheese over them. The tzatziki was good, however, my daughter's had a hair in it. The worse part was that when we brought it to the waitresses attention, she was not apologetic or surprised. She just said she would bring a new one. This was unacceptable. To make matters worse, I went to their store next door to get the cheese I could fry at home and their custard dessert; they had neither. What a disappointment to the entire experience. It felt like chewing a flip-flop in surround sound. Dinner came with exactly three vegetarian choices, all of which looked more like an appetizer sampler trying to pass as a meal. Thankfully, I had great company and a teammate who generously brought wine, which definitely upgraded the experience. Would I return? Personally, no. If you're vegetarian and planning to eat anything beyond hummus, salad, or bread, this place might test your patience.
