I had no clue this place existed!! And now I am Obsessed!!!…read more I created my own - Nutella and PB. Wow just wow. They were made fresh and they were spectacular. So yummy. The employee was lovely. Kind, helpful and friendly. Located at Jax Beach.

My daughter and her husband wanted donuts at 8:00 at night. We couldn't find many open donut…read moreshops; and my husband said we couldn't get "ordinary" donuts from a grocery store, so we found Lukumades by searching on our phones. It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.

The owner or management is free and encouraged to contact me regarding this review:…read more I am in LA frequently, and the stores in LA give you twice as much ice cream as you get here in Jax, the containers are larger, and the scoops are larger, they have gelato scoops here, not necessarily ice cream scoops, but European size and the cup that I ordered wasn't even packed with ice cream. It was just three tiny scoops... I'm not exaggerating... and LA has a much much more expensive cost of lyric than Jacksonville... I don't get it! Also, there was a handwritten sign up that said cash. I was the only person in the store at the time then that sign was removed after more people came in behind me ?? Also, I just wanted a large ( three scoops water ice cream.) And the first time when I had to pay cash, I was charged $11... Three scoops is supposed to be I believe $6.75 or something like that... The second time I went up, for a large to go, I ordered the same thing and asked for a large, the woman seemed confused so I asked for a grande, still confused, but Someone who spoke Spanish helped me, then she still tried to charge me again $11... I don't know where the disconnect is here? Anyway, I love this place, I'm guessing it's the same as the company that runs the stores in LA maybe a franchise or something I don't know... I really love this ice cream, but I'm not too sure about coming back because the tiny portions and I just got charged way way too much. Please?

Soo good I will definitely return again. The mangonadas are delicious. They have plenty popsicle…read moreoptions to choose from that are delicious. Service is great and the shop was clean.

La Michoacana Jax - Snacks look interesting but mostly the frozen dessert is where it's at. One snack was a bag of chips opened up with hot sauce poured on it.
