Had a really great time here, and the food was honestly a pleasant surprise. Didn't expect this level of quality from a boutique hotel restaurant so close to the chaos of Victoria Station.
We shared the beetroot salad and anchovies to start. The salad was fresh and interesting, with different types of beetroot--I'd never even seen yellow beetroot before. The anchovies were nicely tangy and paired really well with the sourdough and the drinks we ordered.
For mains, we had the hake and the linguine, and both were full of flavor. We enjoyed them a lot.
Our server was lovely--slightly quirky in a good way--and clearly put effort into making sure we had a great experience. The wine he recommended was also very good.
Definitely a spot worth checking out. read more
