I was going to give them two stars but then they screwed around giving me my keys back. I hired Team Ihara, based off their reviews, to sell my condo right before a very busy period at work. I eventually walked away because I did not have the time nor humor to put up with their unprofessional and childish behavior. This was three wasted months. 1) They do not respect your time. You work for them. Everything will be done at their convenience. The fact you had to take time off from work means nothing to them. 2) Greedy, very greedy. They gave me an eight thousand dollar estimate to paint a one bedroom condo. When I said absolutely no, they lowered it to four thousand. They found several small thing to 'fix'. One was a fifteen dollar part that required no tools to install, but they wanted to charge me five hundred dollars for it. I arranged to have everything moved out of the place. They told me to wait. Then when it was no longer convenient, they offered to move it for me, for an additional charge. 3) They do not listen, your opinion does not matter. I never received any of the information I requested from them. I had to do my own comps, comparable priced properties, to know the current market value. This basic number seemed beyond their collective ability to calculate. I truly do not know if they are just total screw ups or this was a calculated scheme to squeeze as much money out of me as possible. 4) Every prior real estate person I have dealt with split the 6% commission with the buyer's agent. Ihara takes more than 3%. They view this cut of the profit as Ihara's base rate. Everything else they do for you they intend to charge/over-charge you for. 5) I interacted with three people from the Ihara team, one of them was named Ihara. read more

The Ihara Team has hosted multiple open houses and private showings in an attempt to sell the house that I currently rent. I have come home to find belongings rearranged, debris on the floor and, surprisingly, the door to my home left partially unlocked.
