A lot of them should probably have branded titles, which is why they come from out of state. It's a different car buying experience. You're pretty much met at the door by very nice dogs who like being petted. The salespeople are friendly and calm, like the dogs. I should have updated my review. We did return to Import Warehouse to buy a second car. I needed an all wheel drive to replace my car. While IW has a huge inventory of low mileage lease returns, I needed a lower price , older model car so I could pay cash and avoid any car note. While I would have been afraid to buy any used car at 70,000 miles from another used car biz, we trusted the IW mechanics to vet and do the major service (that is needed for cars around that mileage). In the last 2 years since we bought our first IW car, we've met many more happy IW customers. And we all agree we will never shop anywhere else. read more

Always the best repair service for my Audi A6 and at a very reasonable price, as it can be very expensive to repair an Audi. Also, they are very diligent regarding my extended warranty and have been keeping track of everything so I don't pay more than I need. These guys are great. We bought a used Q7 with them, and it's been a great car. There were a few minor dings and scratches which the guys said they would fix after we purchased the car, and I was skeptical they would stick by their word. They absolutely took care of everything, and even gave me a loaner car. If you want someone to hold your hand and hang out in a cushy waiting area when you go to buy a car, go somewhere else. These guys don't try and talk you into anything. In fact, they told my wife "you're making the decision here. If you have questions, come find us and we'll help you out". Awesome. The process overall was fine, the sales folks were helpful, I talked them down slightly after finding some tire wear and a passenger mirror crack which did not match up with their inspection report. I felt better about the decision after learning I had worked with the owners wife. The owner also vouched that he personally knew the previous owner of the vehicle. All good stuff up until after the sale... As others have stated, the dealer did not provide me with other paperwork needed to register my vehicle. I began calling regularly at the 30 day mark and the messaging was that they were taking care of it. What good is a car if I need to worry about my wife getting pulled over and harassed by law enforcement for expired plates because the dealers paperwork did not get completed? I am not sure if they are incompetent or are attempting to avoid paying taxes by floating the title. I have never written a yelp review for a business, but after my experience with purchasing a car from The Import Warehouse we were so impressed by their service that I felt a review was necessary. Firstly, after extensive internet searches we found that they by far have the most competitive prices for great quality cars. The Import Warehouse also sticks true to their word on not trying to nickel and dime the buyer with unnecessary fees. JC was an amazing person to have gotten to work with and we were in and out with a new car in no time. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and it is definitely somewhere we will be stopping in time to time just to remain in touch with everyone there. We have already decided that when the time comes to get another car that The Import Warehouse will be our first stop! Plus, we appreciate that they donate $100 to a charity. I bought a car from Import Warehouse about a week ago and we were so glad we checked this place out. In addition to Import Warehouse, we went to several dealerships. We hated our experiences at the dealerships--they were pushy, refused to negotiate with us, and knew nothing about the type of car I was looking at. At one dealership, the sales guy admitted to me that I knew more about the car than he did! I also felt like the condition of the cars at Import Warehouse were in much better condition than the used cars at the dealerships. I had my own mechanic check out my car before purchasing, and he said it was in very good condition. We would not hesitate to come back to Import Warehouse. read more

They tried to sell a car to my girlfriend that had severe damage from an accident and they said it was in perfect shape. They just fixed the outside of the car, making it look like nothing is wrong with it. When I originally wrote this review, the owner messaged me and said to take it down. Highly unprofessional company. Test drove a car on a Saturday, started paperwork and planned to pick up on Monday. Called Monday to ensure financing was started and trade in value for my bmw was decided, was informed that another person had started financing paperwork and was now ahead of me for getting the car. Was never informed that this could potentially happen. I did know another couple had been looking at the car before me but I started paperwork as soon as I was done test driving the same day. How do you set a pick up date with a customer and then sell the car to another person without even informing me? Would've drove 45 minutes to pick up a car that's sold to someone else. read more

Shockingly unprofessional. I went in to test drive cars, asked follow up questions, and did not hear back for two weeks. In the meantime, I bought a new car, because I had not heard from this shop. Two weeks later, I got a follow up email when I was in the hospital with a lung infection, and when I had the audacity not to respond to the two week late email, the owner sent me an email attacking me, telling me that I was unprofessional, and informing me that he was pulling my charitable organization from their preferred charities list to get even with me (an organization that helps abused kids). I have never heard of a business operating this way. I am stunned. read more

This was hands down the best experience I ever had buying a used import. IW had a few cars that I was evaluating and I was able to drive them and ask questions without ever feeling as though there was pressure to purchase. The cars include a full "dossier" with the carfax and and there mechanics report on the vehicle. They invite your mechanic to come and take a look at the vehicles as well. The brake pads on the front were a concern at 30% so Robert even threw in a free brake pad replacement when they are fully worn. And they include a 3 month 3k mile warranty on the engine and drivetrain. I've never seen a warranty offered on a used car. Great selection of cars to boot. Thanks IW! read more

I will only buy a car here from now on. One of the nicest, non-sleazy, non-pressure car dealerships I've ever been to. I've grew up with a father who was constantly buying/trading/fixing high end cars and spent a ton of time at car dealerships. I always enjoyed the test drive but hateddddd the car salesmen and their pushy approach. Fast forward to last week and my purchase of an Audi from The Import Warehouse. I was practically having an anxiety attack at the thought of spending a lot of money on a car, but the worst part of it was having to deal with the haggle process. Okay, so there really wasn't a haggle process. Their cars are priced right, they have a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty, free carfax and gave my car a great trade in value ($2,000 higher then their competition in the metro area). My car is absolutely perfect and beautiful. I was able to test drive on my own and listen and feel the car without being nervous with a stranger in the passenger seat. The cars they have available in the showroom and out in their lot are beautiful. I dealt primarily with Sam and Robert and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nobody pushed me to buy anything - they just helped me with what I was looking for. I'm super neurotic and "tightly wound" but I don't think I scared them too bad. :) It's just hard making a huge purchase and I've never bought my own car - much less my own luxury car. I will recommend them to everyone, including my father who is already looking at new Audi's. I can't wait to use their mechanic - Import Mechanics. Best car buying experience, everrrrr! read more

Not very please with the staff here or cars. They delayed my process for obtaining my plates due to paperwork not being filled out correctly. Staff was difficult to get a hold of for this issue. Cannot schedule a requested appointment for oil change because they change it on you to dates that do not work. Also after my car was purchased I began having issues with it even after their mechanic had signed off on its condition checking off on an area which was stated to be in good condition. The issue was not you typical minor ones of a blown out light bulb or power seating not working. It was more along the lines of your vehicle shutting off while driving or steering wheel locking up while driving. Yet this car was relativity new. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone due to my experience with them. read more

Very rude at best. Called KC for directions to the dealership. After we got there he was too busy to help although he waited outside to waive me down to find the dealership. I parked in the back of the store where he told me to park but he was too busy to help. Sent Robert to help me. Robert tells me they do not negotiate price but every car is inspected and prepared for delivery. The SUV we look at has bald tires! The driver side tire is worn down to the tire wear marks. There is no way any respectable dealer would sell an SUV with a tire like that on it. read more

Had a terrible experience with The Import Warehouse. Purchased a car a little over a year ago. I had been driving the car for a year when one day on my way home from work I was rear-ended. When the car was at the body shop we got a call from the insurance company. They told us they would not cover the whole cost to repair the car because the damage didn't match up with the accident. I went to the body shop to see for myself what they were talking about because it didn't make any sense. When I saw the car I was shocked and appalled ! With the bumper taken off you could see that the front of the car looked like it had hit a tree or a post! The mechanic told me he couldn't believe I had been driving the car for a year and hadn't been in a serious accident! The insurance adjuster and mechanic removed ZIPTIES and OEM bolts from a different manufacturer! It is hard to believe that this car was inspected properly. The only help offered to us from the owner of The Import Warehouse was a "good deal" on another car. No thank you!! Their is no way I would ever purchase another vehicle from this place. They sold us a dangerous vehicle! They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

These aren't your typical car salesmen. They select cars that pretty much sell themselves. The cars are priced lower that any other dealer that I had researched. Everyone who works there is friendly with a laid back attitude. No shady characters lurking behind the scenes. Their service department is just as good. I don't usually post bad reviews about businesses because I know how much work it is to run a small business...but I have had an absolutely terrible experience with the car I bought from Import Warehouse. The was a 1 owner, 85k Lexus GX that I paid $17,500 for which was retry fair market value (tires were original from 2006 so knew up front it needed those. Within two days of driving it, the dash lit up with a bunch of warning lights and check engine. The car started shaking and was breaking so we limped into Kuni Lexus because that was the closest repair shop. They gave us a laundry list if things that it needed...they put in a few parts and got it back on the road for now. We then took it back to import warehouse for them to look at it. The morning of...car is dead. We get it towed there to find out it needs a new alternator. Import warehouse just charged us for the part and not the labor...cool. Next day, the dash lights up again with all of the same lights...back to import warehouse. The tell me it needs new catalytic converters and offered to refer me to a shop that can do it for $1,000...wow. 2 weeks later, my wife drives it to Kansas, breaks down again...more repairs. Just yesterday, the shaking commences again and back to kuni for more repairs. The then show us how bad this car really is. Shocks are done, engine leaking a bunch of oil and coolant, undercarriage rusted out...and best of all the show us a price under the passenger side front wheel well that was being held on by twisty ties. This is all within 3 month of purchasing and now I am trying to get out of this unsafe vehicle that my family had been driving around In...probably worth half of what I paid for it or less at this point. For the cherry on top, I paid my sales tax at time of purchase by when I go to the DMV, the tell me that I have to pay sales tax as the paperwork the import warehouse put together was wrong...another $650 out of pocket and waiting for import warehouse to reimburse me...still no check. Yes a one star, i would give less if possible. My visit to the facility went fine. Met with Mark, told him i was specifically wanting to look at the BMW GT that they were advertising. When i was ready to leave i told Mark how much i loved the car, and that i just needed to look into financing. Mark PROMISED that he would give me a call if anyone showed interest in the car so that i could jump on it. I left Mark a voice mail and talked to him on the phone a couple of days later explaining i needed to contact a couple credit unions. I also sent him a email saying probably one more day to get the answer on a online application i did. MARK NEVER CONTACTED ME AFTER MY INITIAL VISIT I HAD TO DO ALL OF THE FOLLOW UP-NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The only email i received from Mark was saying opps we sold the car!!!! What kind of place is this? i have even heard from other dealers that this is not a good place to do business, Mark your word means nothing. DON'T TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT, ESPECIALLY THE SALES STAFF. read more

Well its been two months since my wife and I purchase a car from Johan & JC at import warehouse. Compared to larger dealerships - Import warehouse offers high line cars, cordial employees, laid back atmosphere, and is pet friendly. That all being said, my only complaint is directed toward the lack of customer service. I sold cars for 3 years (at low-mid-high end dealerships) and took pride in post delivery follow-up and thank you's. Non of which I receive after my purchase. Two days after the sale I called Johan to ask about a missing wheel lock key. Sure enough I was told to check the car - spent 30 minutes or more doing so. Called again - Johan said, that he would check with their offsite service department - nope, nothing! Although minor issues, it annoy me enough to write this review. Basically Import warehouse is a one stop shop for cars - once you buy they're hoping that you will never (ever) look back. read more
