If you're looking for a proper classic smashburger, San Dimas Burger Co. nails it. I went with the…read moreHawaiian bread bun and added bacon, and that combo took the burger to another level. The patty is smashed just right, with crispy, caramelized edges and a juicy, flavorful center, while the melted cheese blends perfectly into the beef. The bacon adds that extra smoky, savory crunch, which pairs insanely well with the subtle sweetness of the Hawaiian bun. It creates that perfect sweet-and-salty balance, with every bite hitting a mix of juicy, crispy, and soft textures. The toppings stay simple and fresh, letting the flavor of the burger really shine. I had it with a side of tater tots, which were crispy and satisfying, but honestly, I feel like the sweet potato fries might've been the better move. That slight sweetness would've complemented the burger even more and taken the whole meal up a notch. Overall, it's a standout burger--simple, flavorful, and done right. Definitely something I'd order again... next time with the sweet potato fries.

Almost made it a Hawaiian day, but next time. So yeah, it's in a large strip mall with lots of parking. Inside is very spacious and lively, as advertised. Lots of mounted flat screens and plenty of neon signage to remind you that they also serve cold brews here. Definitely a happening spot for Dodgers games for sure. Menu is extensive with lots of options for burgers and sides. Took the recommendation from my awesome server and ordered the following: - Stinkin' Bun Burger - 9/10: yo, this was incredible. Brioche bun was perfectly crisped, patty was thick and full of flavor. Loved the garlic cheese spread. Just brought it to another level. Well-balanced and not too garlicky. Just delicious. Pro tip: Mon-Fri are their lunch specials. So you can get a side and a drink with your burger of choice at a reduced price. Otherwise, everything is a la carte. So yes, a good time was had by all!

French fries, onion rings to zucchini fries. Milk shakes or perhaps a scoop if you have room! I invariably order the tuna sandwich, which I rarely finish as it is packed with tuna, lettuce & tomato, lightly toasted. The zucchini is delicious and a small usually feeds at least 2 with leftovers. My family often order the chicken club sandwich also a favorite. But lately, over the past ten days I've been consuming pastrami like, well, Joey Chestnut demolishes hot dogs every July 4th. Last night's pastrami sando from Legends marks my fourth similar order in the past eight night's. I paired it with a small fries, which are enough to share. Not gonna bother littering this review w/ extraneous pics of Legends '50s style Americana design- Everyone else snaps plenty of those... So was Legends up to their emulatable name? Mehhhh, quite solid...but not necessarily Hall of Fame caliber. The meat is plentiful, piled 2.5" high on the bread smeared w/ yellow mustard. But the flavor profile of the 'Strami is rather spartan- No palette fireworks that you experience w/ famous pastrami sandos churned out by Brent's Deli (Northridge), Katz (NYC), etc. In the vast ranking of Glendora-adjacent Pastrami Sando sellers, I'd rank em: 1.) EAT Fantastic, Arcadia- Lean, well seasoned, bread pairs perfectly. A flavorful home run! 2.) The Hat, Glendora. This IS their moneymaker, after all... 3.) Legends, Glendora. Looks like I must've ordered the WDT (Wrong Damn Thing)... 4.) Route 66 Subs, Glendora. The rookie on the list, Your correspondent might give them a pass if a future cold sando outpaces what this was- A disappointment.

I, for one, immediately noticed the huge mural that heralds our Greatest Laker Ever the moment I pulled offve Live Oak into the small lot that abuts Fantastic. Digging further, I discovered that the "Eat Fantastic" quintet of restaurants that dot the greater LA metropolitan area ARE IN FACT a modernized spinoff of the "Cafe Fantastic" chain that Gen Xers like me fondly recall. Sheeeeeeeeeiiit. True story- All throughout my time at San Pedro High, my best friend Mick and I usta demolish their Combo Burger Platter (burger/fries AND onion rings, side salad and drink) for only $3.65. 40yr flashback over, your favorite Yelp correspondent went for Fantastic's pastrami sandwich combo. And while it doesn't come with a quintet of items guaranteed to fillya up- I can vouch that the pastrami is legit!!! Well seasoned, peppered, served steaming hot aboard a French roll gently slicked with mustard. I've had my share of fabulous pastrami in my time- Katz Deli in NY, Brent's Deli in Northridge and more locally and if you're in a severe 'strami fix...then Togo's #9 will do ya, too. This doesn't compete at those lofty levels, but for its price I'll order this eight days a week over the razor-thin pastrami dispensed by the overrated The Hat chain of pastrami-phixated locales! While this was a takeout order, I can attest that all of my.prior dealings w/ the Eat Fantastic staff has been just fine. Courteous and swift service.

The bun had a great texture, the burger was grilled perfectly, and the crispy onions added a delicious crunch that really elevated the whole sandwich. I paired it with The Stand Blonde Ale and wasn't disappointed! The beer complemented the burger very well. Part of me wished the burger came with a side, but considering the burger alone was over 1,000 calories, I was probably better off without the temptation! For the kids, we ordered the mac and cheese and a hot dog, and both were well received. I also appreciated that they offer a good variety of kid-friendly sides, which gives families plenty of options. We also shared a cookies and cream milkshake, which was rich, creamy, and very tasty. The only downside to our visit was a small service issue. I had to help my kids in the restroom and couldn't leave the table unattended. By the time I returned, my daughter's leftover mac and cheese, which she wanted to save, and our lemonade had been cleared away. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was disappointing since we weren't quite finished with them. My daughter wants to come back because this was apparently the best mac and cheese ever. Overall, the food was excellent and I'd definitely come back. Just wish there had been a little more caution before clearing items from the table.
