Food was decent, but what killed this visit and potential for any future visits were the manager/employees children. These kids were screaming at the top of their lungs. Sorry, I don't enjoy that type of ambience. People sitting behind me were fed up and said "damn, kids are soo loud and no one is watching them. So I proceeded to the window to encounter some lady by the name of Monica She opens the window and I explained politely how I was waiting for a while trying to get her attention to order and got no response which is why I proceeded to pull up to window. So came here with my gf to try this place out, the food was decent but the thing that made me want to give this place a one star was the fact that there was 3 kids being super loud and yelling while we were trying to have a date night, clearly the kids were one of the employees that work at tam's Burger. I think it's unprofessional that you have to bring ur loud kids to work, while people are just trying to have a peaceful dinner, on the other side of the restaurant, we were able to see other customers getting upset about this situation as well. I was in the area and decided to stop by Tam's Burgers in Azusa. It immediately reminded me of the location in Los Angeles that I grew up going to, so I was excited to try it out. I ordered the crispy chicken salad, but it had a few issues: there was water sitting in it, wilted lettuce, the avocado had already browned, and the boiled egg had a dark ring around it, which usually means it wasn't very fresh. Nothing major, but definitely noticeable. Aside from that, the experience was still good overall. The staff was nice, service was quick, and I'm happy there's a Tam's closer to home. Came here just for zucchini fries and ended up getting chili cheese fries with pastrami as well and i am so glad we did. They were super good, big portion and hot. The zucchini fries lack flavor, but they gave us a huge portion and they were hot. Would def come back to try other foods :) read more

Bought a pastrami combo. The pastrami sandwich was lame, it was not on a roll , it was on 2 peices of flat bread , filled with scrap pieces of pastrami ( no big thick slices of fresh pastrami...looked like the scrap pieces found on the bottom of pan. The fries were greasy, like they were dumped in the oil before it came to the proper temperature, allowing the fries to absorb oil. After I brought this to the attention of the employee assisting me, Monica (Azusa location) was rude, with absolutely no costumer service. She did not know how to cancel the charge and told me just to live with it. In addition, I was charged a service fee for using my debit card. \Under California law, businesses are not permitted to impose surcharges on debit card transactions. Recently the food has been bad. I gave it another try today but was disappointed yet again. Ordered a chili cheese dog which is 7 dollars just by itself. I got a rock of a bread with the wiener that was overcooked and it looked like it was just microwaved all together and served that way. Combative service when I realized my order was incorrect. I ordered thru drive-thru window , fries with a side of chili. Received order then went home to eat. I've been going to tams for years. Today I had a bad encounter with service. I was given the incorrect order I live all the way in Pomona and so I called and the 1st lady said she knows she gave me the correct order and I explained that nothing else in my order was wrong just the spicy chicken sandwich, she proceeded to ask he cook what he made and he agreed with her. She then passed the phone to another lady and in Spanish said I told her I know I gave her the right order she probably isn't looking correctly. The other lady got on the phone and asked if I checked all my food and I explained again that yes nothing else was incorrect just the spicy chicken sandwich and she said well I don't know what to tell you and so I asked well can you take my name down for a discount or something since I live in Pomona and it was your mistake.
