It was a bad experience immediately as I tried the fries, as it didn't have a lot of flavor and was soft. As for the chicken slider, it was literally all heat with no flavor and dry. We waited around 45 minutes for our food which was no problem given that there was only one person in the kitchen and it seemed busy. My issue came down to the shake. After paying, we were given a shake split up into 3 water cups because they had ran out of cups but we did not know this prior. Never having been and going off the menu photographs she decided on chicken strips because the photo did not show any sweet sauce on the strips. Well this was a to go order and that didn't ring true. Once home the strips were drenched in sweet sauce. I grabbed the chicken sandwich meal with fries and since I don't have any sugar issues I was ok with it. Next time all sauces on the side!! On 03/27, we placed an Uber pickup order for two Shosho's Loaded Fries from Habibi's Hot Chicken, a place we've genuinely loved and recommended for years. Because we know how good their chicken usually is, we paid extra to add more to both orders. Unfortunately, what we received was extremely disappointing. Each order had about 8 small pieces of cubed chicken, barely more than what a standard portion would normally include, if not less. To make matters worse, the price of this combo has recently increased. Normally, a price increase isn't an issue, but paying extra for additional chicken and receiving such a minimal amount feels like clear shrinkflation. We placed the order at 10:20 PM, well before closing (2 AM), so it's not like this was a last-minute rush order. We've supported this place for a long time and have always had great experiences, which is why this was so surprising. We're hoping this was just an off night and not a new standard, because we'd love to continue recommending Habibi's, but consistency matters. Photos speak for themselves. (Being to many chicken strip places, they serve such small tenders). Not only that but they treat you with such care and love, they always check to make sure everything is going great. I came at midnight during some late hours, and the service was quick. The joint itself has a well thought out interior with a laid back vibe. The food itself is really good, I'd actually recommend the loaded mac and cheese, the Mac has a great soft texture that blends well with the chicken and it all tastes amazing. First time here, and I will say the flavors of the fries, the soft buns, and the moist tender chicken strips are definitely worth the money. The only thing I have a complaint with is the fountain drink selection. If the fountain drinks dont work, just remove the machine altogether. Just sell the drinks of the mini fridge. The drinks have a very unpleasant taste. (Fountain drinks) Which are available. I don't think people want to get charged for a cup to have a very limited selection. I normally drink iced tea and walk up to a dusty area. Owners need to be aware that people who come in do notice these things. For the high $30+ meals sold here, there should be fully functional fountain drinks and iced tea available. Reason for the 4 star. Will I be back, yes? Hopefully, in the future, the issue is resolved, and then I'll then give them a 5 star. Until then, it will remain at a 4 star. I don't want to resort to bringing my own fountain drink or beverage. They are halal so maybe that explains the quality and taste? There are not many fried chicken options in Glendora so Habibi is one of the best in the area. Spice levels here range between plain and very hot. The medium is not that spicy; if you like heat order it hot. I've passed by this place quite often, and I've always noticed that it's usually empty. Now, I understand why. I don't quite get the 5 star reviews, but perhaps this restaurant is a hit-or-miss type. The service was decent; the young lady seemed friendly. However, it's not a place where you'd want to sit down, even though they have several TVs. The atmosphere is cold. The chicken strips were okay, but there are so many other options with better and more flavorful choices. Essentially, these strips were just doused in cayenne pepper. They also offer mac and cheese, which tasted like the boxed version you add water to, and when I tried adding cheese to it, it didn't improve the taste much. They also have Texas toast, and in the picture it looks like cheese toast but is actually two slices of toasted bread. I find this amusing because you can order a side of Texas toast, which essentially means getting a bunch of toasted bread! In short, I wouldn't recommend this place and in a word--NOPE. read more

Wow! I can't believe it took me so long to try this place out! So worth it. I went during the lunch time rush but the lady taking our order was so friendly and explained to me and my co workers the menu. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
