    Loaded LA Staple Fries

I was looking for a burger spot late one night, but didn't want one from a chain; stumbled upon reviews for this spot, and decided to give it a try. At first glance, this joint looks spiffy and well maintained; it even has a nice Kobe mural on the property. I proceeded to the drive thru, which was the only way to order, and was delighted by the menu options - burgers, chicken sandwiches and tenders, salads, shakes, and fry options. I opted for a cheeseburger, and the Fantastic fries, which came out pretty quickly. The presentation was great, but that's kind of where it stopped. The burger was okay; clean and well portioned, but the patty lacked flavor. The Fantastic fries were well served and could easily be shared with two to three people; but the fries were a bit soggy. Overall, I wasn't overly impressed, but it sure beats the traditional fast food options.

CALCULATE YOUR TOTAL BEFORE PAYING. I ordered a Fantastic Burger ($12) with an order of fries ($4) and the total before tax is $16. When asked if I wanted the combo, I specifically stated I did not want it which would have included a burger, fries, and drink ($18). The total requested was $19.89. When I asked why the total was that much, the cashier explained it was due to tax. Tax is NOT almost $4. The conversation went back and forth, then the cashier finally redid the order and charged me correctly for $17.68. He added, "is the price better now?" No, the price is not better now, it's correct now. The cashier argued that the combo is cheaper and easier for the kitchen. He's right, the combo IS cheaper than ordering ALL THREE items separately, but I only wanted the burger and fries. The receipt in the order says I ordered the combo and I didn't want a drink, so I should still pay for the combo price. Make it make sense, the math ain't mathing. ------ Food was not bad, not worth either prices.

I had an adequate experience at Eat Fantastic (Arcadia). I ordered The G.O.A.T. Burger ($12.24). It's a double cheeseburger with pickles, grilled onions, and sauce. It's a BIG, thick burger, but it came drenched in a puddle of its own grease. The cooks cooked it perfectly, but its meat is extremely oily. I arrived at Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) on Monday (around 9:48AM). The business has its own small parking lot; I counted about 13 parking spots. The location also has a drive-thru. It's a very POPULAR spot! Staff is very friendly and diligent. Staff immediately helped me, and I felt welcomed. My food arrived in four minutes and six seconds. As mentioned, I ordered The G.O.A.T. Burger ($12.24). If the ingredients were fresher, it would have been a much better experience. Still, there's an appreciated juicy, meat flavor since it's cooked well. Unfortunately, it's also a very messy burger that's drenched in its own grease. I had that annoying oily aftertaste desperately clinging onto me after this meal. I felt the urge to shower after eating. On ambiance, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) is lovely. Although it's odd how no music played, I appreciated the big flat screen television displaying the baseball game. The location is also kid friendly since I counted a few high chairs for kids. Also, it's well-shaded, airy, and clean. I appreciate the hard effort towards making this dining area spotless and comfortable. In addition, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has about 10 tables and one long table. Also, there's a nearby gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has potential. Although the meat tastes cheap, it's prepared at an exemplary level. Maybe I'll return in the future, but as of now, it's just an adequate option for customers that like affordable but very greasy food. 3.9 out of 5

The name does speak for itself, Fantastic! I went here for lunch with my family. The food was tasty. The ambiance was clean and inviting.

Awesome onion rings, thick sliced onion with a light crunchy batter. Served with delicious ranch dressing.

Eat Fantastic Cafe is known for Quality fresh ingredients. The best onion rings around town. They have a very clean outdoor sitting area. The bathroom is gender neutral and locked so it stays nice for customers. Location is easy to get in and out staff is very friendly.

Came here with a group after a kids baseball game. Eating area is only the tables outside. You order the food first on the app or at the window then wait to pick up your food at the other window. We ordered a cheeseburger, a lunch box with fantastic burger upgrade. The lunchbox has good amount of food - burger, 2 chicken tenders, fries and a cookie. The burgers are made to order and they are great - both the basic cheese burger and the fantastic burger with bacon and avocado. I really liked the ranch sauce here. Only thing weird is we asked for water and guy said we need to pay for it? Other than that it's a decent dining experience.

Huge fan of the zucchini sticks, pastrami, melt sandwich, lemonade, and fruity pebbles milkshake here!! They have such a good variety and there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy! It's a fast casual spot with plenty of tables outside to eat at.

So I wanted something aside from In-N-Out and yelp recommended Eat Fantastic. I ordered the GOAT burger. It's an absolute killer, very flavorful, think this is what Five Guys set out to be but failed miserably. And then I also ordered the Fantastic Fries and a Choco Shake. So, Im going to be honest about the fries, it was too much of a portion. Think 3 people can share one order of fries. At first, it's your typical cheddar melt bacon fried but the more you try to eat it, the more you find it to be on the greasier side, and so I threw 2/3s of the box away. Chocolate shake was excellent. Overall, yes, it's a decent burger joint but for three items I think I paid 28.00 + so ehhhhhhh; if I'm having mad cravings yes. But I think I will stick to In-N-Out for the time being.

This place was so delicious. Wasn't feeling a burger this trip so I ended up getting a chicken salad. The dressing was so good! The salad had so many fresh veggies! I loved it. Very refreshing. My hubby had a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries, and I tasted both. Burger was juicy and the fries were very flavorful! The staff is super nice, and very helpful with what we should get. My husband was craving something sweet and she recommended a chocolate smoothie. Definitely worth it! The place is very nicely decorated for each holiday, and very clean! Good size for bigger parties. Loved the tv with the split screen. I thought that was pretty cool!

I drive by this spot fairly often, it stands out due to the mural of Kobe Bryant on their property. Usually, there is a decent number of customers in the patio and cars waiting in the drive-thru line. I didn't have my mind set on what to order. Then I saw the G.O.A.T. on the menu and went for the combo. I was very pleased with my choice. It is made with Colby Jack Cheese, Double Beef Patty with mustard that is fried right onto the meat, Pickles, Grilled Onions, then topped with their signature Fantastic sauce. This burger was FANTASTIC, I couldn't finish but was happy to have the leftovers for lunch the next day. $10.24 burger only, or $16.24 for a combo (fries & drink). Add-ons for a nominal charge: Bacon, Chili, Pastrami, Egg, Avocado. Upgrade fries to Onion Rings or Zucchini Sticks $3, or Tater Tots for $2. They have a "Secret" menu with items such as, the Hangover Burger, Chipotle Jalepeno Burger, Avocado Toast, and a Big Boy Plate, to name a few. They are open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and late night food runs til Midnight! They have an App for placing advance orders and earning reward points. There is a private parking lot and patio seating (no indoor dining area). The restaurant is clean and the employees were helpful. Sincerely, Rosemary

Been here a couple times whilst waiting to pick up people from LAX (5-10 min drive away). The most recent time I just needed a quick bite and got the 2 tender box. Tenders were huge and juicy, fries were crispy and good too. Service was in good time. Ate on the patio (there's seating both inside and outside) to enjoy the view of the plaza it's in. Ample parking adjacent to the building as well. Will likely return to try more items on the menu.

After all these years, I finally got to try this place! Plenty of parking but I would suggest parking on the streets since you will be blocked or see lines of cars waiting at drive thru.... We downloaded EatFantastic app and there was a reward for 25% off your first purchase which was a steal! No indoor seating.. Only outdoor and you wait by the pick up area. Service was great! Since we ordered ours online, we waited 20 mins and then I walked to the window to order something else Let's get to the food! Great price and generous portion! I feel like the lunch combo for $12 here is very popular so we got that. The lunch combo comes w burger, two chicken tenders, fries, and chocolate chip cookie BUT we sub and upgraded to chili cheese fries and sub tenders for spicy. The sauce is fire on the burger! Tenders are good and WAYYY better than Raising Canes Got Chicken sandwich combo Sub for spicy crispy chicken on sourdough and this was tasty w slaw. Instead of fries, we upgraded to onion rings but I wish they were cooked longer and crispier.

Finally decided to stop in after passing by this place so many times! We came in this morning before church because my son wanted to try it out, and it turned out to be a really solid local spot. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and the patty melt, both hit the spot. The menu is a nice mix of traditional comfort food and Mexican fare. I didn't try a burger this time, but just looking at the menu options and add-ons, they look like they'd be good, too. The setup is simple: you order at the counter first, and then they bring the food to your table. The staff was friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Bonus points for the easy parking lot (they have a drive-thru, too). Definitely glad we finally gave it a try!

I love that they have soft serve based on Asian flavors. There's so many flavors that I've tried and I wish that it wasn't always rotating, but it is really exciting to try new flavors. I also love that they have asian toppings! My favorites have been the Mandarin and Yakult. I love that this spot is a community favorite because I'm always waiting in line to get my ice cream. They provide some card games if you wanna chat with friends! The spot has limited indoor seating as it's very tiny, but they also provide plastic chairs to sit outside in the parking lot. Most people sit outside on the chairs or bring it back to the car. I love that they provide free stickers, know your rights cards, and sell merch and Lactaid. I have yet to come to 626 ice cream during a community event like their Mahjong nights, but I know they collaborate with local orgs! Note that their prices are a little higher than regular soft serve spots, but I'm happy to support them as they pour back into their community. They definitely are worth the price with all the love that they put into their ice cream and their community.

I tried the lychee and matcha soft serve flavors, and ended up getting the matcha flavor. Those flavors were good, the lychee and matcha were pungent. But the texture of the soft serve wasn't my favorite. The texture wasn't my favorite, it was more of an icy texture as oppose to a creamy silky texture which I would have preferred. I usually like the Oreo topping on my soft serve since it gives it a crunch, but it just didn't taste that good after a few bites. This soft serve was also a bit pricey, it was around $7 for the soft serve and topping, which was a bit disappointing since it wasn't that great. My friend also got their crunchy nut ice cream and didn't like it. I wish I liked this place more since they have Asian flavors but unfortunately it wasn't my favorite. I thought it would be as big, but when I got it, it was so much smaller and flat. Also, the taiyaki that goes on top of the ice cream was old. It had been sitting there for a while or was made earlier as it was hard and difficult to bite. The red bean inside I also assumed was a paste like how they make the Japanese version, however there were whole pieces in there. It was okay, but I thought they'd be like paste. Overall, the only thing that was good was the ube swirl and the pineapple dole whip. It was also extremely warm in the shop, like no AC in the triple digits summer heat. Had to eat it elsewhere. I most likely won't be back.
