Pros: Location is absolutely perfect! You can walk to the beach within minutes. Gorgeous view of the sunset. Plenty of rentals available right on the site... kayaks, bikes, etc. it was wonderful having the kayaks to use free of charge. Enjoyed spending the day out on the water. Clean room and private hot tub, such a nice extra. Easy check in and parking situation. Cons: outdated. The entire inn could use updating, but it was clean!! Pool is small and only heated across the street. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! read more

Worth driving past all other hotels/ motels on midnight pass rd!!!! Owners Dave and Gail are on property to make sure stay is pleasant;) complementary canoe and fishing gear/bicycles, just stop at 7/11 on left for drinks, snacks and bait. No need to get in a car the rest of stay. Owners recommended Miguels for dinner...tell them you read my review and maybe get you will also get a discount there. Did not enjoy my stay from 12/26/17 to 12/28/17. Booked the sunset suite with jacuzzi, the patio where the jacuzzi was smelled of urine which ruined the relaxing mood, next day the "staff" tried to clean it but ended up making it as now there was a bleach cleaner mixed with urine odor. Called and left a message which did nothing and when calling back finally getting someone on the phone at 1-2 was informed there was no maintenance staff available. Third day the owner finally got involved and it seamed better but still an odor of cleanser which wasnt pleasant. That on top of the steel beams and metal brackets for the handrails rusting away and rotting wood and general run down nature of the place made the stay unpleasant. They did credit me 100 dollars and left an 8 dollar bottle of champange for my inconvenience lol. Will not stay there again. Would recommend you not to either. read more

There are only two times that I take the time to write a review. When I am super upset or extremely overwhelmed. This venue is the later. Everything from the staff to the amenities, you will not be disappointed. We travel often and would rate this property and experience as one of the very best! Staff is absolutely amazing. There are bikes, canoes, kayaks, fishing poles and more, all available for free!!! Each room has a private jacuzzi!!!!!!! One of the absolute best vacations we have had. Love Siesta Key and staying at The Inn At Turtle Beach made the perfect complement to out trip. This will be one property that we will now frequent often. read more

I chose this place for several days of our honeymoon. After much searching for a relaxing get away that also had a hot tub, The Inn At Turtle Beach was one of the few places that had what I wanted. Many good (actually, very good) places to eat are close by. In fact a great restaurant is next door and creates great seafood dishes and is also directly on the water so our dining experience was fantastic. My wife totally loved The Inn At Turtle Beach. I picked where we'd go for our honeymoon, and I won great points for this place. By the way, we had our own hot tub and outdoor courtyard. This was NOT some shared public hot tub that any guest could use. We had our own private hot tub and outdoor space. This was very different from 99.99% of hotels. We were married 18 months ago and are planning on going back soon. The photos that I saw on their website were the same when we walked into the room. I liked that they did not over or under sell the accommodations. They were straightforward and truthful about what they were offering. read more

If you're looking for a very romantic destination in Florida, look no further. Just got back from one of the best weekends of my life. Our room was nicely decorated and had a fenced in patio with a hot tub. The best part is that the hot tub is completely private!! The beaches on Siesta Key are immaculate with fine white sand and the village area was nice to walk around with nice restaurant and live entertainment. I would definitely recommend this for any couple. read more

When spending over $300/night on a romantic suite you dont expect it to smell of mold..you don't expect all the amenities like the "brand new" hot tub to be surrounded by rust, peeling paint and rotting moldy bamboo. You don't expect to have a tiny pool full of shrub leaves and peeling paint. You don't expect filthy patio loungers with torn and dry rotted fabric. You don't expect amenities like beach chairs, kayaks and bicycles to be either filthy or rusted...but at Turtle beach resort all these unexpected extras are yours!!!! what a deal! Seriously the staff was nice but the place is a run down wreck..not worth not worth $80/night let alone $300! We stayed only one night of our prepaid 2 night booking and let them keep our $..they obviously need it! I wouldn't recommend this TURD beach inn to my worst Enemy!...stay away!!! read more

This place is so adorable and quiet. If you're looking to relax this is the place for you. It sits right on the bay and the beach is just across the street. They have free canoes and kayaks for their guests to use. Each room has a kitchen with dishes, stove, coffee maker, fridge and toaster oven. Love love love it here will definitely be coming back. The location of this place is really nice, but it is in desperate need of upgrades and repairs. Mostly on the outside where wood is worn away and paint is chipping. Pool area was not very nice.....chairs are dirty, ants everywhere, and pool itself needs to be repainted. The hot tubs are very clean, however, because trees overhang each cottage there are a lot of leaves and dirt on the floor. The inside of the cottage is fine. Happy to see that the bed was comfortable and very clean, including the bathroom which is very clean. Sorry to say, we come to Siesta Key every May, but will not be staying here again. read more

This was my second time staying here. The first time was about a year ago. The stay was enjoyable for the most part although it does seem like it may be starting to go down hill a bit. part of it may be the different room we had, but a lot of things, both in the room and out of the room needed some work. My wife could never get the door to lock or unlock because of how stiff the deadbolt was and occasionally I struggled getting it open. The first night when we go there, there was a ton of bugs in the room. There were some things that did not work on the hot tub as well. I do still love the private hot tub and equipment to use. The most annoying part of the stay, which isn't really the owners fault, was another couple staying there. They were obviously very drunk and very loud. One of them even came up to us starting talking to us and then said she was drunk. Very romantic night that was. It would be nice if there would be a way to contact someone there in those types of cases. For the price I would probably not go back at this point. read more

I've stayed here twice now the first time really enjoyed it. This time not so much. Our last stay was much more quiet. There was no parking because the neighbors kept inviting guest over. The place truly needs some renovations the hot tubs have glue on the bottom of them it's just not appealing esp when your charging $350 a night. We also had a roach in our room which yeah it's FL I know. The rooms are ehh the patio was sort of nice it had a hammock that was really difficult to sit in and the string went up my husbands ass like a thong. It should be an adults only place, the pool is small. The pros: nice that's it's close to turtle beach and you can park and take the trolley to siesta key. It has amenities like Ice,laundry room with towels on the side by the parking, it has kayaks and fishing poles, bikes and beach chairs (don't expect nice beach chairs). The owners are really nice and place is decorated with hanging plants everywhere. It's definitely more quiet than Siesta Key. read more

Pride of ownership and attention to detail. This is one of the best places we ever stayed. The grounds and landscaping are beautiful. Ari's father is the landscape artist and creates mini vignettes everywhere you look. As others have said private, beautiful and friendly. The owners love their guests offering anything you need for a great stay in siesta key. Found them because they were pet friendly but this gem is so much more. We can't wait to return. Dismiss the negative reviews. An occasional leaf in a private hot tub in paradise is a problem easily dealt with. read more

This place was amazing. My husband and I went here for our anniversary. This place so so private and perfect I didn't even know we had neighbors. We had a private hot tub. No kids allowed here tho so it made it really quiet. We were in that hot tub so much too. It was right on a canal that went to the beach and there was a little strip of land between the canal and the beach so we could take the kyaks that they provided and go across the river thing and go to the most beautiful beach every. It had wonderful hammocks and was not too far from downtown portion of the key but far enough away to be quiet and not have drunks everywhere... The beaches were amazing... did I say that? They give you most of what you need... I love the place. I am going to have to add some pics. I loved it. Also there is a place to eat right on the water in walking distance that had a great brunch on Sunday (must try, turtle resturant or somthing) and they also had a bar and a fine dinning resturant in walking distance. Wow this was worth it. I will go back there! Must go! read more

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and LOVED it!!! First, our room was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. There was a microwave AND toaster oven which was a bonus. There are laundry facilities on site, a grill, canoes, etc. Basically you feel like you are home (if your home is super cute and right on the ocean). We loved how quiet it was at night and the staff was so nice. Our hot tub stopped working two nights before we left and the owner himself was there working on it the next day and gave us our choice of the rooms available to switch to right away! There's a personable feel to the place where you really feel like they want to take care of you and make your stay special. We will definitely be going back! read more
