This is our absolute favorite place to come!! Everyone is so kind to us and knows our name when we arrive! The kitchens in the rooms are fantastic and we make most of our meals there. That Wolf Stove!!! Amazing!! Plan ahead and schedule a massage because you will LOVE it!! We love having our beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us! And the pool area is just right. Stay at The Ritz Carlton or Lido beach resort!!! I am from Siesta Key by birth and I come home three times a year to visit... i thought this time ill stay at the Hyatt Residency since my whole life growing up I had seen them shining on siesta looking beautiful. The price is high $600+ per night but I do like good service so I thought this time I would give it a whirl.... HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! Usually i stay at Lido Beach or Ritz & I will for sure be doing that from now on. This place is a huge disappointment. EVERYDAY we were woken up at 7am to carpet construction happening throughout the building & when they weren't ripping the carpets up & leaving crime scene tape across your room door every time you do in or out - you get to rip down tape. There are no signs saying why there is tape hanging everywhere just tools left lying in walkways everywhere. They left the carpet peeled back with carpet glue exposed in the whole hallway from the elevator & I stepped in it ruining my sand led & pants there was glue all over. I asked for the manager and there was NO MANAGER ON SITE THE ENTIRE HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!! Are you kidding me? The power wash i g & pounding at 7am continued the entire trip, we were exhausted. When i did finally speak to the manager on our check out day ... she said she would follow up & take care of all the issues. LIE! This has not happened at all i have $430 of ruined clothes because they do not understand how to close a wing down as they do repairs. It's the Hyatt you can afford it. You dont charge someone $600 a night to vacation through construction. We will never do another Hyatt again. I was told this issue would be handled swiftly... it's now 2 months later & I haven't gotten a single response. Such service lol read more

It makes it really convenient if you want to spend the day at the beach or at the pool because everything is so close by. What a beautiful hotel! The entrance does not do this place justice. The front desk is located on another floor of the hotel so upon arriving, an employee will assist you with a bell hopper and opening the doors so you can take the elevator up to the front desk. There is only one elevator in the hotel but it worked fairly quickly. They also stressed social distancing in the elevators; only people you know in it with you. Once we got our keys, it was time to see the room and WOW. I felt like I was in a condo! We had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, a dining room table, and a balcony. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms are full bathrooms too. Stand up shower, 2 sinks, full mirrors, seats at the mirror. My mom had a tv in her bathroom! Once we got dressed for the beach, we started to head downstairs where they have a jacuzzi, full pool, bar, and the beach. You can use the beach chairs, umbrellas, and paddleboards that are included in your stay. When visiting the bar, the tab is added to your room. It's such a beautiful beach as well. Perfect for relaxing. They also provide beach towels. One night it was raining and the area to drive in and out of was flooded so you definitely have to be careful when driving to and from the hotel. They need to work on a draining system for sure. Across the street were shops and food/drinks. So if you want to stray away from the hotel from a bit you have a couple of places you could visit across the street. All in all. Beautiful hotel. Beautiful beach. Everyone was following COVID guidelines. Expensive? Yes, but very worth it. read more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The service is great and the rooms are large. That said, I don't give it five stars because they should have blackouts. The curtains are sheer and sunlight comes in from early sunrise. That means you will be woken up very early. That's ok if you plan to go to the beach early but if you want to sleep in, it's very difficult. Also, the chairs and umbrellas are available until 5pm. They should really be available at least until 6-6:30pm. Other than that, we had an amazing time and would definitely come back. read more

The hotel room was clean & well upkeep. However the cafe staffs were super rude to us and were not friendly at all. We were very disappointed the way we were treated. I asked for a soy cup of non dairy soy milk. The staff was rudely responded no we don't offer that. When we first arrived at the hotel we were excited and thinking of bringing the family members back here to visit because we like the beach. Unfortunately after our breakfast today we had a different thought & wouldn't pay $700 plus service fee/night again receive horrible services again. I'm sure there are better places in the area. Low crowd- not a mass of people around- feels like the place is yours. Friendly staff, the staff was always available and about assisting w whatever was needed. Beach activities are plentiful (kayaks, paddle boards, beach lounge and chairs). Poolside bar w lunch available to guests. Lunch is catered by Morton's deli grocery (Sarasota main stay for fresh homemade foods). Walking distance to Capt Curt's (crazy excellent, clam chowder) a popular Buckeye bar and the Daiquiri Deck South. Just a short ride to the Village. read more

Great for families. Our party of eight included two infants, so travel was close to out of the question. Our six night stay had us changing rooms in the middle, from a three bedroom without the nice view to one with the nice view. This place was ideal for us: upscale everything, including a more than usable kitchen. Shuffled the kids between beach and pool, sun and shade. It's all right there. Grilled steaks one night, made fresh pasta another, and carried out multiple times from the most excellent Big Water Fish Market a very short walk away. Four-and-a-half stars. Hint: The "without the nice view" unit would be fine for everybody. Don't just settle for the "without" view, though, even though the private balcony is great. Visit the beach or pool at sunset, or sit at the fire pit. It's spectacular and relaxing at the same time. One suggestion: in their outdoor, covered game room area they should add a playground for the Little Ones. read more

What a fabulous place to spend a week. All employees are extremely friendly and calm, especially Robert at the beach and Michael at the bar. The accommodations are incredible - high end wolf professional appliance kitchen and superbly comfortable beds, not to mention the patio off of every unit for beautiful ocean or sunset views. We stayed in a three bedroom, three bath unit, with plenty of room for our group of five. The showers were nothing short of incredible, with a "rain" function amongst three other options. While the pool is small, this resort is never overly crowded, as there are a reasonable amount of rooms in the place. There is private beach access to a beautiful white quartz beach. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards the resort provides and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend if you're looking for luxury accommodation in Siesta Key. read more

The good: - Super nice rooms: booked a land-view 2BR and it was gigantic, well appointed, pretty, had a really well-equipped kitchen. You could even see the water if you looked from the balcony at the correct angle. (But you could also just, y'know, go downstairs to be on the beach.) - Valet parking included; valets were always super quick. - Free rental of kayaks and paddleboards included. - Beach is gorgeous. Which is the whole point of this hotel. - Rain showers were pretty neat. Related: so were the bubbling bathtub and Japanese-style electronic toilet seats. Important to know: - Because FL beaches have nesting sea turtles, staff start removing the beach chairs and umbrellas around 5pm so they don't block turtles' access to the water. You can still use the beach, of course. - There's only one elevator, if you need an elevator. (You can also take the stairs.) read more

Loved this place! The room is fancy and spacious. We stayed in a 3 bedroom. I loved the bedding, it was super comfortable and made of 100% cotton with feather filled pillows. We lacked nothing. They refused to allow a family of four people visit us because they exceeded our the 6 person limit (we had 4 and guest of 4). The limit is for everything- not just lodging. We had to leave and go to a public location due to this rule. Don't plan to have guests come over for the beach or pool. Extremely expensive location. Not great for family trips. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 3 bath with den. The room itself was incredible. Humongous living space with couch and dining table, incredible showers (4 overhead streams plus 1 hand nozzle and regular shower head), and spacious kitchen with luxury appliances. Our balcony didn't have a great view, but it was nice to have as an alt dining space. PROS: steps to an incredible beach with the nicest sand I've ever felt. Beautiful room. A great deal if two couples or a family stay. In our case, we used both king beds and the pullout couch in the den. CON: mediocre continental breakfast. Virtually no other food offerings. Small pool (you're there for the beach, but kids always want to go in the pool), and a hot tub CONSTANTLY full of kids 5-10 (not relaxing). There's also not much within walking distance and the roads are not super bike friendly. I recommend you go there with friends, hit the grocery store, and make use of the incredible kitchen. You won't have to be far from the beautiful beach and can save a few bucks on home cooked lunch and dinner. read more

Staff is excellent. The rooms are fantastic and of course you cannot beat the view. Staff must come in from Sarasota though because they didn't seem to have a clue about anything local on Siesta Key, which was fine but being in the hotel industry you'd think they would. Nice subzero fridge, beautiful sauna, and the individually temperature control rooms are great. Loved the quartz countertops in the kitchen and the Nespresso machines. Juice maker in owners lounge is a nice feature as well. All in all wonderful. Great beach valets. read more

Spent 5 days here in July 2011. The accommodations were incredible - we stayed in a 2 bedroom, 3 full bath unit with just over 1,800 sq. ft and this was considered a smaller unit. Full gourmet kitchen, giant soaker tub and amazing views were some of the highlights of our unit. The beach in front of the hotel was beautiful and the water was generally always very calm, which is great for children. They had kayaks and paddle boards to use at no charge. There are roughly 40 units and even though it was completed booked it never felt crowded. The staff was amazing and we had such a great time we plan on coming back next year. read more

Excellent hotel right on the water in Siesta Key. The room we stayed in slept 6 with top notch furniture, bathrooms and kitchen supplies. There's an excellent BBQ area, hot tub, pool and hammocks. They have beach toys, kayaks, paddle boards and beach chairs free of charge ( well we paid $899 a night!) The staff were so professional and accommodating, especially the valet Mike! Hotel room and staff amazing but the beach behind hotel not kept well there are hundreds of dead rotten fish with bugs everywhere and flies everywhere smells horrible. A comment about our brief encounter with staff to inquire about renting here February 2020. We were greeted in the parking area in front of the main lobby by an attendant who asked how he can help. We stated our reason for being there to which he responded "before you go any further, our units are between $635-$1,500 per night. We replied that it was fine and he directed us to the third floor desk for more info. Upon reaching the third floor, the woman at the desk informed us that the building was full and she would not be able to show us any units. Totally understandable. She also stated units would be available for booking 6 months prior. I asked if we could be shown the grounds, I.e., pool, beach, tiki bar, etc. to which she replied "no, we are a private facility" I'm not understanding something here. If units are available for lease and sale, why is it not ok to see amenities and common areas. No attempt was made to welcome us and show us around. We were potential renters/purchasers - now, not so much. In case you are wondering, we are normal people and drive an Audi SUV so it wasn't like we looked like Jed and Granny. read more

Just returned home from an amazing stay at the Hyatt in Siesta Key on Tuesday for a girls getaway. Can't say enough about this beautiful place! Yes, it it is up there in price, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for! And you definitely get the service that you paid for! Everyone there has a smile on their face and goes out of their way for you from the moment you walk in the door. Our 3 bed, 3 bath apartment was gorgeous and spotless as well. The pool area and tiki bar (where the woman tending the bar went out of her way to make sure we ordered a drink to our liking as well as recommended some nearby restaurants) were small but more then served its purpose! Then there's the beautiful beach where Joe (a fellow Brooklynite) chats about the old neighborhood and makes sure you're set up nicely with your chairs and umbrellas! We have stayed in Lido Beach for years before this, and we will never go back! Us girls will definitely be back next summer, but we are hoping, even sooner, to get back here with our husbands!! read more

Hyatt Siesta Key Beach ruined our spring break. I booked with them weeks ago, and just noticed the other day that they booked me in the wrong location. I called and got it corrected - they cancelled it at the wrong location, took my credit card and booked me at Siesta Key. The agent explained the other location's hotel # was one digit off from the Siesta Key and it was an error. No big deal - as long as it was corrected. She informed me that I would receive an email in 10-15 minutes. I kept looking out for the email to ensure it was corrected. I got the cancellation notice for the wrong location immediately, but the new reservation never came through. i called this morning to get it corrected and they are now fully booked for the first day of our vacation and they want to charge me more than double now!!! All because THEIR agents (two of them - 2 for 2 people!) made mistakes. Now we're not going anywhere for spring break because it begins in two days, even though I planned this trip week's ago. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. We stayed at the Hyatt Siesta Key for 4 nights in May 2011. My husband and I were actually married on the public beach in front of the property. From the moment we checked in until we left, the service was absolutely impeccable. It doesnt get more full-service than this. The residences are absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a premium village view residence and can say without a doubt it is the nicest place either of us have ever stayed. The kitchen is fully equipt with high end appliances (wolf range, etc) including an espresso machine and keurig maching. The bathrooms have the rainfall showers and jacuzzi tubs. The master toilet had a seat warmer and a bidet. Everything was over the top amazing. Two couples could easily stay in a residence and have plenty of room (I think they are between 2000-3000 sf). The pool was fantastic, not a huge area but quiet and comfortable with padded chairs, towels obviously provided, etc. The poolside bar had great drinks (not pricey either surprisingly) and good food for lunch. The beach is just a few steps away from the pool and umbrellas and chairs are set up daily. The tiki hut has free rentals for its guests- kids have their choice of beach toys, boogie boards, etc and you can also borrow kayaks which we did on our last day and had a blast. The staff knew we were married on our first day there and set up a lovely gift in our room of a cheese/meat tray, a bottle of wine, and a nice congratulations card. It seemed that every staff member knew our names and said congratulations to us when they saw us the next day, it was a nice added touch to already wonderful service. Valet was friendly and quick as well. The daily continental breakfast was a nice spread with fresh fruits, cereals, juice, pastries, etc each day. The property is absolutely gorgeous and we cannot wait to go back. read more

We have stayed here 4 times now and there is no place better to stay on Siesta Key. Obviously the word is out because it gets harder and harder to get a reservation. The rooms are HUGE, like 3200+ square feet we try to get the Deluxe 2 Master bedrooms along with 2 interior bedrooms with EXTREMELY comfortable pull out sofas for the kids. There are 3 FULL baths with that unit. Great to go with another family because of the 2 masters suites. Very upscale furnishings and be sure to get a ocean front because it is so beautiful compared to the city view. The sand is the best we have ever been on. They have all sorts of equipment for the kids including free kayaks and bikes. They have a washer/dryer in the room and an AMAZING kitchen. They have a cooler that rolls on the beach so you can bring your own drinks and food. The only drawback is there is no restaurant on site. They do have an outside bar that does bring in food from a neighboring restaurant for lunch so that helps if you don't want to cook. The also have a continental breakfast each morning near the lobby. It is best to rent a car so you can explore up and down the key. read more
