I'm giving 5 stars based on location (right across the street from the light show, water play and dinotaurium), cleanliness, value for price and service. The building is dated, but it's comfortable and had a nice sized pool. We were traveling with two small children ages 3.5 and 5 so this place was ideal as we did not spend as much time in our room. The room is huge with a large bathroom area which allowed enough room for them to get their energy out. Property is surrounded by beautiful lawn and scenery. My husband took a beautiful morning run so all in all it fit everybody in the family's needs.

This inn is at the perfect location to visit stone mountain park. You are right across one street and can walk without a problem. The inn is a bit dated but the rooms were huge and the beds were comfortable. The walls were a bit thin and I could easily hear my neighbors. The thing that stood out the most for me is the staff, so friendly and helpful. Definitely made a great impression on me of southern hospitality. They have limited options for eating though. Daily breakfast buffet but only offer dinner buffet on a Saturday night. That have a small store with snacks for purchase by the front desk. You do have to pay for wifi unless you join the Marriott Bonvoy club, then it is free. Overall this was a good experience, the biggest complaint was the noise level and the inn being a bit dated. Staff was out of this world!

Stayed here for the Mustangs at the Mountain annual car show. Originally we had reservations for the other Marriot inside stone mountain park and cancelled those when some rooms opened up at this hotel. Pretty sure that was a mistake for a few reasons. This establishment doesn't offer any type of breakfast, the restaurant is only open Saturday nights, no microwave in the room, wall paper was peeling off the wall, the striker plate on our door fell off, Wi-Fi costs additional money and the decore was very outdated. All of this for over double the cost of an off park facility. Next year we will NOT be making the same mistake. I will stay at a hotel off of the property for half the cost for more amenities and a more modern establishment.

Located inside of Georgia's Stone Mountain Park, the historic Marriott Stone Mountain Inn provides magnificent views of Stone Mountain and exceptional comfort. This classic Southern inn features 92 oversized guest rooms with a veranda, an outdoor courtyard swimming pool and buffet style southern cooking served in the Mountainview Restaurant. The location is so convenient near most Stone Mountain Park attractions! The Marriott Stone Mountain Inn is an excellent place for our family vacation. The Inn is a carefully preserved replica of a nineteenth century plantation.

This is the rusted water that came out of the faucet when my daughter went to take a bath.

We had to be relocated to three different rooms and each one of the rooms would be considered unlivable. The first room had the water piping completely detached among some other small issues in the room that we had to get a tech for. The second room had no working plumbing as far as the toilet. You would think when we had to be moved again They would do a thorough check on the next room but in this case they did not and our 3rd room's water was a dark burnt orange as if the pipes were rusted over. Other small things like my face breaking out from the water, TV or cable completely disconnected. Dead roaches on the floor and a spider in its web, which means it built a home. The stale smell in 2 of the 3 rooms. An A/C unit with cracking all around it as if there was condensation. I contacted the property so that they could do the right thing and address the matter and no one has called me back. I even told booking. Com about the situation and they tried to reach out for me and the property did not respond to them either. Bad things happen and it is unfortunate that companies are so willing to take your money but not willing to even talk to you when things go wrong and try to fix it.

If you're interested in seeing Stone Mountain, the location is practically perfect. The hotel, however, has challenges that made our stay and experience average at best. PARTIAL CLOSURE FOR COVID. My wife and I were traveling in November of 2020, so we managed our plans very closely to minimize exposure to other people. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I get extended checkout which comes in handy during circumstances like this. Since I can check out later (usually 3PM/4PM-ish) my wife and I typically head back to our room to take a shower and change clothes before hitting the road again after experiencing local activities. We had planned to do this in Stone Mountain Park since the park opened at 11 AM and it would give us ample time to check it out. Unfortunately, I wasn't notified until we actually arrived AT the hotel that the property was closed during the week and, since it was only open on weekends, was set to close at noon on Sunday. THE ISSUE HERE is that I had requested the extended checkout in advance and, had I been notified of this limitation in advance, I would have moved my reservation to the Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort which was right down the road. After having spent the entire day on the road (we drove from Memphis, TN) we just didn't have the energy to deal with it when told that our checkout was now 11:30 AM. ACCESSIBLE ROOM. Prior to arrival, my wife had sprained her ankle while we were hiking earlier in our trip. While checking in, I asked if they had a first floor room and they offered us the wheelchair accessible room which (at the time) sounded perfect. It wasn't until later that the two lamps on the bedside end tables, which doubled as charging hubs, weren't plugged in. I moved the end tables and there weren't any outlets behind them. So, if you were disabled and staying in the room, you had to go to the front door to turn off the lights before going to bed and then find your way to you bed in the dark. This is not only inconvenient, but also dangerous IMO. I've left the feedback with Marriott, but my advice if you're planning a stay here? Spend the extra money/points and stay at the Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort down the road instead.

Main selling point is the park close by. Outside of that not much else to note for the stay there.

I love low-key places that put you in the heart of things while providing privacy, comfort, and luxury. Upon arrival we were greeted by Adam. He was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. After showing us to our room and settling he left us to explore. What a beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. The decor inside of our room and throughout the manor was breathtaking. I took my time exploring each room in the common areas to make sure I didn't miss a thing! Our room was located on the first floor towards the front of the house. It was clean, smelled great and spacious. All of the amenities for a in-home spa experience were provided. They even sell spa packages. I bought the lavender scented on because that's one of my favorite scents. We decided to run and pick up something to eat and bring it back to the bed and breakfast. You have the option to eat inside of your room or in the inclosed patio. We chose to sit in patio which is where breakfast is eaten as well. They offer complimentary breakfast that's served buffet style. When we got to breakfast the next morning I asked for a fresh pot of eggs. They had no problem accommodating and the food was very good. If you book a stay during the warmer months you'll love the option to take a dip in the beautiful pool. If there's an emergency Adam is just a phone call away and not far. His quarters are on the property grounds as well.

The 24 hour coffee & snack availability (bagels, toast, marble cake and mini fruit danish) was great after coming back from a long day. Our room was cleaned daily. I have nothing negative to say about this stay. Accommodations were exactly as stated and seen on the website. Adam was a great host.

I don't even know where to begin! As I started researching and visiting venues I found myself…read morestarting to feel overwhelmed with options, requirements/rules, pricing, and what seemed like an ever increasing budget. Honestly, I had never heard of Vecoma, but kept running across it on sites. At the time their website wasn't as developed as now so I wasn't quite sure. I had narrowed down and visited 5 other venues, had huge packets of info that made my head spin, and just felt like maybe I should elope when I sent an inquiry to Vecoma. Caroline instantly responded with a general quote (WOW!! maybe I COULD do this) and invited me for a visit. They have open houses on Saturday mornings, and I highly recommend that you go because if you have visited any other venue you will instantly see the differences. There is no pressure, you aren't locked into a time frame, you are free to walk the grounds, look at previous wedding books, talk to staff, all so low key and no stress! You can price out items, look at menus, and simply be relaxed. Not only is the venue stunning and has multiple options in terms of ceremony and reception, what truly make the venue is the staff. On my Saturday tour, it was the staff that helped me solidify my choice in less than 30 minutes, something I had agonized over for months! In terms of pricing - you can make any budget work here! It is clear cut, nothing hidden, easily explained, you know up front what you are dealing with and if you want to add or change things they are completely fluid. They have payment plans that are easy, manageable, and take a huge stress away! They have incredible menu choices with customization and multiple bar options, all with the best pricing and I guarantee you will not find better full bar pricing anywhere in Atlanta! I purchased a full bar and they even included 2 complimentary passed hors d'ourves. The other thing you will find is that they do not nickel and dime you to death, there is no charge for turning on the twinkle lights, you can use their mirrors, votives, fishbowls, wood centerpieces and anything else that is considered a "house item" FREE of charge. They give you the freedom to express yourself in decorations, you can use your own vendors, friends for setup, and you get to bring your own cakes with NO cutting fee! I had 4 cakes and 5 pies, 9 total and NO EXTRA CHARGE. They even provided the cutting utensils and sliced and served! It is the little things here, the level of personal service, the relaxed atmosphere, the freedom to be yourself that make it truly stand apart. The other thing is you don't have just ONE person who helps you. There is literally an army! Caroline is simply Wonderwoman and from managing the venue to being the best photographer and is so down to earth, she will make all worries disappear! Caitlin, Judith, Cathy, all answered tons of questions, quickly responded to emails, and made being a bride EASY. On the day of we didn't realize ALL of the staff come together to help you set up, put out decorations, find a bandaid, help with wardrobe malfunctions, I was amazed! The food was simply incredible! We didn't make it to a tasting, but I trusted reviews and it was impeccable, best chefs, and people are still commenting on it, including the most picky eaters. I had everything from true southerners who must have their pork and potatoes, to friends that were vegan and halaal and all were happy. DJ/photography - they have both in-house if you choose and the prices can't be beat! Caroline's pics you can see online and DJ Kirk makes it a breeze and you can pick all of your own songs or he will help if needed. All included in your invoicing! Because we had saved so much money we even opted to do videography through DJ Kirk as well. Other things - We worried about the fickle November weather, the staff were reassuring that we could change as needed. We were able to do on the deck and had heaters in case, then inside for the reception. The bridal party was running late, not a problem, Caroline started pictures with the boys to give the girls time to catch up! They make sure you eat and have your food already waiting for you while you tend to all the people and excitement. They don't rush you out at the end, we had time to say goodbye, pack up, etc. Check them out, you will be amazed, it will be perfect, your guests will be in awe, and your wallet will thank you!

I take it that they were busy. Needless to say, we were drenched because by this time, the storm was upon us. I believe the driver thought it was funny and I guess it was considering the resort is 10 minutes away from the park. Lesson learned....drive your own vehicle!
