Signature drink menu

We happened to be in downtown Everett and decided we were hungry. After a quick Google search, we decided to eat at The Irishmen. The atmosphere is exactly what we expected after reading the name. It's filled with Irish sports memorabilia and tons of Guinness signs. We had the poutine and lamb shepherds pie. The poutine was just okay. The mound of onions in the gravy made it taste sweet, which was odd. But the shepherds pie.....holy hell, the shepherds pie. Thay was the BEST shepherds pie I have ever had in my life. It was absolutely amazing! There was only 1 waitress, and the poor woman was walking around in a boot because she injured her foot. She was friendly, and as the people crowded in, she was trying her best to care for all her tables. I definitely recommend this place and when we are back on Everett, we will be going back.

This place has authentic Irish food. The Sheppard pie and poutine is great! Prices are decent and service was excellent. My stop every time I'm in Everett.

This place definitely has the Irish vibe, but the food wasn't all that exciting. I would give this place a 4 out of 5.

Authentic menus and atmosphere. Great for lunch and dinner with a decent happy hour. Try the bread pudding desert with caramel whisky sauce.

Ok service - expensive small food portions. Seems Everett Is turning into the new Kirkland with a bonus homeless population.

Ask the Community - The Irishmen

When will the kitchen open again? Last two times I was there food was not being served.

Kitchen was open when we visited Friday 9/17.

Do you require Covid19 vaccine cards to enter your establishment?

Yes they do. They won't serve you unless you have your card. What a joke

How late do they serve a full menu? I get off work late (11PM) and want to stop for dinner.

12PM

Does the Irishmen serve breakfast on the weekends?

We have the Ulster Fry

Food was pretty good - just selected a few of their appetizers; my favorite was the fried dumplings! Spam Masubi was just ok, kinda dry - I'm used to there being a bit of eel sauce beyond just the spam glaze, but I'd try it again! The Mac salad could have used some salt and pepper. Note: they did offer me S&P, so I could have spruced it up myself & I understand wanting to cater to majority tastes - nonetheless I found it to be a bit bland. Multiple Tv screens. Looks like a good place to catch a game with friends. Overall, will be back!

The Twisted…read moreLimed didn't make a good first impression back then both in service and most definitely the menu. But here we are, 2025 and with time to kill decided to give this neighborhood watering hole another go. First off, since we were there during the day it wasn't too busy which was kinda nice. Because it's kind of a small pub it would be horribly crowded, even with their outside seating on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Lotsa T.V. with sports and nice island-style tunes with a noise level where you can have a conversation w/o having to repeat yourself or yell. Service was good, mostly due to the time of day, light crowd, so we were able to sit where we wanted, given menus, ordered drinks. Our server was personable, made regular check ins and food time from order to service was perfect. Now what motivated me to write this review was mainly because of the food. Because honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. With the Island /Hawai'i thing being their theme, some of their menu that reflected that. So I decided I'd give some of my island favorites a try, of course with some lowered expectations. I mean I've eaten at some local island/Hawaiian places here in Western Washington run by islanders that were subpar and some cases bad. The meals I gauge would the loco moco and spam musubi. So at the Twisted Lime, that's what ordered. Wifey had a big ol' plate of their Nacho Mama. Her take, loved it. Perfect as not so much stuff on it to make the chips all soggy, go good amount of toppings, nice crisp chips and the guacamole, super tasty. My meal, I was pleasantly surprised. The musubi was excellent. That being a good SPAM to rice ratio, nice strip of nori and good flava. In case you wonder, most good musubi should have a piece of SPAM at least 1/2 thick, and rice 3x that. Place that cheap out give a sliver of SPAM and a butt-ton of rice. Examples of poorly made musubi: the ones they make at Town and Country Market in Mill Creek and Marination at T-Mobile. If you like 'em from those places, good on you. But if you ever had a well made, well proportioned one, you'll never go back. Examples of local perfect musubi: Sushi Spott so far has my number one spot, but Hawaiian Sun in Everett, and as of this review, Twisted Lime has damn good musubi. Now for their Loco Moco. First off, damn fine presentation, second off, "ONO GRINDZ". I wouldn't say broke da mout, but pretty damn close. Good proportions of rice, good amount of gravy with good flava, two beef patties, also with good flava and a nice egg over-easy. My only comments are, 1. For their loco moco price ($18), only one egg? I know that most loco mocos I've made or ordered, standard (especially in Hawai'i), two eggs brah! 2. If you wanna do the whole Aloha theme, Hawaiian mac is a standard/complementary side of any Hawaiian meal. Not something to be added to the price. Any plate lunch includes Hawaiian mac. Seriously, Google Search images. Kinda like burgers, fries should always be included, so bravo to the places that do that and shame on the ones that charge over $10.00 for a burger and don't include fries. 3. For a neighborhood bar, I'm surprised it isn't family friendly for a time. Example, the Savage Moose in Kenmore, sports bar, FF until 2100 hours. 4. No smoking or vaping in the outdoors seating? It's.....outdoors. It's not like you're out there for the view unless you enjoy the view of other businesses and a neighborhood street. But whatever. Bottom line, the food tasted good and didn't disappoint. Good solid service (can't speak to when it gets crazy busy). Star lost on the above comments, but otherwise I would definitely go there again. If anything I'm now curious of how their Kalua Pork is, comparatively speaking to what I know is good Kalua Pork.

She seemed annoyed by the fact we did not know what we wanted to eat even though it was our first time there. She also was rude when asked what alcoholic beverages they serve even though she kept asking us what alcoholic drink we wanted. My husband doesn't even drink but she did not consider that. When asked for the 3rd time for our drink order I repeated what do you offer she replied everything. So I ordered a beer I wanted and she said they did not have it...so not everything. Her response to that was for me to get up and go to the bar myself to look at what they had. As for food we ended up just ordering what our table mates ordered since they knew the bar from years back. She dropped the food off with bo words and then proceeded to ignore us the rest of the night. No refills on water or sodas or checking on us. She went to every table around us; even sat down and hung out quite some time with a table of her friends. We tried to get her attention but she would look the other way. We had to order our own drinks from the bar and get our own refills. Our food came out after our table mates and we had significantly less food than they received though we ordered the exact same meal. At the end of the night (end of trivia) we could not leave fast enough. We had to flag her down for our checks and even then she told us to hold on and it was a good while before she came back. She then had the audacity to argue with us for not tipping her even though she sucked!! The food was not great...typical fried bar food. Holy Cannoli the next day we all paid for eating there as we were all glued to our toilets with it coming from both ends. Everyone was sick. We will NEVER go there again which is too bad bc the trivia part was fun.

The manager was very nice and super helpful and what could have been a big problem on a very busy evening turned into a few minutes of waiting outside on a sunny day. The food was good (WOW - especially the Parmesan Artichoke dip. I expected it to be the usual, creamy dip you get everywhere but this had a hit of garlic that made it SPECTACULAR.) But the BEST part of the evening was our server, Brenton. He was funny, kind, very good at his job, checked in with us at exactly the right times and just generally made the evening a great one. Am rating 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) They have no gluten free options. Not a GF bun, bread., pasta nor pizza dough. I understand not having many, but to have no GF choices is just not great these days. My husband with celiac disease had very few options. 2) Need more and reservable outside seating. Especially on the beautiful days (like this one was) - having to sit inside was a big bummer. They had more tables outdoors but we were told those were waiting areas and that we couldn't eat there. Anyway - a good spot and an even better one if they made just a couple changes.
