Hello, this is iron Eagle writing this? I've been at Creekside for a long time since October. I'm a customer. I remember going there when I knew no songs but trying to work on it. An FYI, I'm illiterate if you might ask how my writing this through text to speech Kimmers kept me going and Mark is a great guy we joke around she motivated me to go up and sing so I started learning more songs. The environment is great is a bingo very fun and so are some of the people there matter of fact, boosted my self-confidence. Talking to people everybody's polite and I feel like this generation shifts was a lot of manipulation and narcissistic people are brainwash, but this bar has shown me a difference in people as well so I give them the highest respect. But I learned through their that I can sing. I have to remember songs though like photographic memory. For me being on a low side of autism as well it's great if you met me in person I'm like a normal guy, but I do have that autism showing. In high functioning, depression. But I always come back with a smile and always happy to see the same faces. read more

Stopped here for lunch after a hike since there was not much open on July 4th in the area. Friendly bartender. Ordered a couple of beers, club sandwich and Caesar salad. Wanted the Cobb salad on the menu but was told they don't make that anymore. We were the only ones here except for one other person. read more

Absolutely loved this bar in Lake Stevens! The drinks were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the whole place had such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Karaoke night was the highlight -- great energy, good crowd, and everyone seemed to be having an amazing time. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a few drinks, sing your favorite songs, and spend a memorable night with friends. Definitely one of the best places around for drinks, service, and karaoke. The service is absolutely horrible. The owner is usually on her phone, service is slow, food orders forgotten, and advertised product isn't actually something they sell. We give this place chances time and time again because it's the local bar but enough is enough. Do yourself a favor and don't bother. read more

Was treated with disregard and attitude when we first arrived, the bartender seemed intoxicated. we asked what food options were available and she responded with "just fries" which we ordered. 20 minutes later the same bartender comes out with a plate of chicken strips and fries and tator tots for customers that seemed to be regulars and knew her well. we waited multiple minutes to be acknowledged at the bar each time we came up for a drink. service was terrible and everyone seemed over served there. do not recommend. read more

I heard about the Alehouse rebranding and I wanted to try this place again after a couple of years away. It's never a good idea to have the distributor pick your beer. The worst hipster selection ever!I was staring wistfully at the old Smithwick's mirror on the wall and remembered that they used to have that and could once be mistaken for a dive bar. I'm not sure what's going on now. I tried a burger and my wife had the steak nachos. The burger was mediocre with the tater tots being the strong point. We agreed that steak nachos should include steak not just chips and cheese. The bartender/hostess was overwhelmed trying to keep everyone satisfied. Stay away!!!! This place is shady. I went for some drinks and had a small tab of under $20. 3 days later theres a $50 charge on my card.

Ambience was very dated. Tables had cardboard wedged under the feet to stop the wobbles, it didn't. Ordered tacos (taco Tuesday), they were so crispy they exploded at first bite. Plenty of meat but not much else. Orders took too long to serve imo, and then they told us that they were out of lettuce for the salad that was ordered! Pool tables have more room and with the addition of overhead lights much better shooting on evenings or dark days. 4 dart boards now in their own section. Gina behind the bar has been a great addition. This has become my afternoon pool shooting locale. read more

Stopped by on the way back from the mountains to get burgers and beer. The experience was memorably bad. First, the beer arrived flat. The server was so disengaged that I didn't bother to tell her. We ordered the "1/3 pound" burgers from the menu. They were far thinner than 1/3 pound. We asked for medium cooked, but they were served rare, which is remarkable given how thin the patties were. The tater tots were also undercooked and thus mushy. I like dive bars if they have good food (which the menu implied), but the food, beer, and service were memorably bad. read more

Came across this gem looking for a lunch spot to meet a friend. Not far from Lake Stevens or Centennial Trail in case you are looking for something to do before or after your meal. The interior was well lit with bar games and plenty of seating. While there is a bar, it has a family vibe at least during the day. When you have a burger called The Viking, it is one I am going to try. The third-pound burgers are cooked medium to medium well (some pink) in case you like it more well done. This also makes it very juicy with drippings running down your hands! Plenty of bacon, the right amount of blue cheese, crisp lettuce, crunch red onion, tomato, and mayo. For the side I went with the tater tots, of course. Crispy and covered with a house made seasoning. I wasn't prepared and inhaled some at the beginning, so I thought it was spicier than it really is at first. The honey mustard was creamy and a good dipping sauce. Between the burger and the tots there was so much food I almost couldn't finish it all. Had to take a short 4-mile walk on the Centennial Trail to help digest it all. read more

Creekside has had it rough since lockdown: staff shortages, product quality, etc. Their hours were wildly inconsistent and they wound up discontinuing weekend breakfasts and not opening until after 1pm on weekdays as well. When the consistency started to return, they were able to open at 11am on weekdays and in April 2024, I went back to check out the updated menu, etc. I had one of the best French dip sandwiches I'd had in a long time and I told them so. I took requisite pictures and forgot to post my positive review in a timely manner. Last week I was in the area again and remembered that sandwich. I navigated the crazy road construction, figuring they definitely could use some business while other customers might not want the hassle. And I re-ordered that French dip sandwich. I have no idea what has happened in such a short amount of time to go from one of the best versions I've had to one of the worst, to the point of being unable to finish it. I don't like it when regular customers finally leave a review for a place after they've had great experiences for a length of time but their review is only about one negative experience and give 1 star. So I feel kinda conflicted since I did have a great experience 3 months ago and didn't make the time to review at that point, so I compromised to averaging my best and worst for 2.5 stars. I don't know when/if I'll be back. Even the service did a complete 180 between my 2 visits: April 2024, I received great service and had fun watching the Roomba zip around the floor. Fast forward to July 2024 I got the bare minimum. One of the staff didn't have childcare so their child was stuck in the bar, with not much to do on a sunny day but to stay out of the way of the dangers of the road construction. I've been a regular here for over 12 years. This used to be one of my favorite places to go to years ago. It's become really run down and inconsistent. Lately they've been struggling keeping the grill staffed. Denita, as a bartender and Ivan as the cook make it bearable. So service was quick but disjointed. Like the chicken wing appetizer came with meal. But the staff was working hard. It was Taco Tuesday but the beef hard tacos were just okay. A little skimpy in the filling. The meatloaf was disappointing. The meat was stiff like a Hamburger patty. The mashed potatoes were really good. The broccoli was overcooked and really soft. The chicken wings were da bomb!! Omg these chicken wings were plump and juicy with hot sauce. If you come here; get those wings. Totally off the hook good. We had an amazing lunch at Creekside today! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked fish and chips, delicious totchos, the owner came and spoke with us and she was so kind. We also go for karaoke nights and the people who go there are always so wonderful and fun and the bar is so lively! It's great to be there during the day for a quiet lunch or a fun night out! 10/10, 5 stars, would give more if I could! Outrageous Viking burger, slathered with blue cheese - nice and juicy. I got onion rings (two buck upcharge) and they were plentiful, hot, and crunchy. I ordered their ranch dipping sauce and it seemed to be house made, because I've never had ranch as tasty: it was dill forward, not claggy, and refreshing. Husband got the steak bites - spicy - and they were terrific! The meat was good quality and actually done medium, with pink in the center. Juicy and good. His fries were dusted with something BBQ, which was lovely. Friendly, prompt service. Everyone cheerfully followed COVID guidelines. And while we didn't order the Guinness, someone a few tables over did, and the pint looked proper. We will be back! read more

Very rude staff. The manager there was extremely rude to us. Made us feel stupid for asking questions. Got in my face with her finger and pointed at me when I was asking her a question. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or something but she really needs to be talked to, even at her old age. The "bouncer" was an older lady too, she looked in my bag without asking. Just opened it up while it was on my shoulder. This used to be one of my favorite places to go but after this encounter I'm never returning. Made me feel super uncomfortable and belittled. read more

A group of four stopped here after a day of hiking. Parking is free. Tabs are easily split. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This place is perfect if one is just looking for replenishment and nothing else. This is a dive bar, meaning there are no frills. We were pleasantly surprised that happy hour is offered daily from 1pm-6pm. My wife and I each ordered a pint of Choppers Red Ale for $4. It's nice to see local brews on draft. This place actually had a nice selection of local brews. My wife ordered the Two Piece Chicken Strip Basket with Fries for $4 (hh) and was quite satisfied with her choice. The tenders were nice and crisp and piping hot. The fries were also hot and not at all soggy. I ordered the Pork & Vegetable Egg Rolls for $6 (hh). The menu stated 6 mini egg rolls and what was actually served were 3 large egg rolls cut in half. They were over-cooked and tasted of old fryer fat. We hosted my moms 50th birthday party here and the staff was AMAZING, hands down! They were so accommodating, welcoming, helpful and friendly. I regret not getting any names, but our waitress was FANTASITC! She was on it from the moment we walked into the place to set up. They offered things to help up set up, continued to ask if we needed anything else, and just made the whole party a breeze. Everyone had a blast. I would 100% recommend going here for a good time, anytime! The food and beers on tap were phenomenal!! Thank you Creekside staff for making this a memorable evening for all. read more

I wish we checked the most recent reviews before we decided to try this place. We walked out after over an hour waiting for our burgers. There were about 5 people at the bar drinking and maybe one other table for food, so it wasn't busy. I get places are understaffed, but 3 burgers (1 kid, 2 adults) shouldn't take that long. read more

This place is your local fare, nothing special, pub food joint. If you're looking for something deep fried or reheated, you'll probably enjoy this place. If you're looking for a few beers and some average nachos this place will suffice But the wings.. they were not good. Not crispy, not enough sauce.. just some very poor wings. And that makes me sad. Also, the decor... it's not good. It probably hasn't changed since the place has opened. And finally the service. This was the main reason i rated things so poorly. The waitress just wasn't friendly.
