We've been to The Point twice now and both experiences were good. This place has a ton of TVs for sports games and a lot of games including at least 4 pool tables as well as video games. It's a relatively large space that would accommodate a large group or even a birthday party. The food is your standard bar fare and was done well the 2 times we've been there, though I could tell they use frozen burger patties which made my burgers less than an ideal experience. The burger buns are outstanding, however, and their fries are really good shoestring fries with complimentary fry sauce. The service has been polite and attentive and overall we had a good experience both times. Since I am big on getting burgers at places like this it is hard to say we'll be going back since I found the burger a little underwhelming as far as the meat goes but I'd be willing to give them another shot since they are pretty close to home. read more

Had to chance to drop in to The Point on a trip north and what a cool atmosphere for sporting events!! They have several pool tables, dart boards and flat screens plastered everywhere! Wish I had a spot like this close to my house. We split the Buffalo Chicken wrap, had a beverage and shot a few games of pool. It was exactly the break we needed! Definitely a hidden gem right off the freeway. Only down side 21 and over. read more

My girlfriend and I met up at the Point since they are halfway between the two of us and because they offer pull tabs. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors one will find several pool tables, dart boards, a generous amount of TVs, pull tabs and a full bar. The Point has the ability to accommodate large parties. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm; however, a menu is not available. The menu's that we were given had several items crossed out. For starters my girlfriend had a fruity-tootie SVEDKA raspberry drink for $6.25 and I had a pint of Trickster IPA for $5.50. For our bites, we shared the Hawaiian Flatbread for $7 (hh) and a full Caesar Salad for $8.99. The flatbread was served lukewarm. The Caesar was on the limp side. Our server was friendly when around. Overall, I didn't like how I couldn't view a happy hour menu; especially after a year of Covid and the regular use of QR codes to download menus. Stopped in here last weekend with a buddy played a few games of pool got an appetizer to eat and had a few cold ones. Great service by the gal behind the bar. Was the middle of the afternoon so not a real premium bar time so we had the pool table and area to ourselves. I think our appetizer snack was nacho chips with diced up steak on them. For the most part the service is horrible. Occasionally, you will luck out & a server will visit your table and ask if you need anything. If you enjoy bussing your own table & having to walk to the bar to order your food or drinks, this is definitely the place for you. I will add that the food is better than average for a bar. If it weren't for the bar staff, my review would be much less. I've only had the fish tacos (meh) and chicken tacos (better) plus a plethora of delicious plus drinks. We ordered fish and chips and fish tacos. The fish was ok, but the fries were not extra. Crispy like we ordered and weren't hot. We asked for them to be redone and the waitress acted like we were a total inconvenience to her. We were almost done with our meal. When I finally saw the waitress again and ask where our fries were. She said you asked for extra crispy and it takes a while. The were shoestring potatoes! It had been 15 minutes! DRINKS WITH A SIDE OF RACISM! I wouldn't recommend this bar to anyone that is a person of color, they for sure will make you feel like you don't belong. I went there to celebrate a girlfriends birthday, when we walked in the bouncer rushed to the door to check our IDs and provided us with stamps. After ordering our first drinks with the server Melinda, a gentleman came from the back kitchen asking if my I'd was checked. He asked me instead of confirming with the server. I showed him my stamp and offered to show my ID again. He declined. We then headed for our table and ordered appetizers. After about 45 mins our server Melinda came by to check to see if we needed anything else, we ordered more drinks and more appetizers. Not even 60 secs later she came back to the table Advising us that the bartender by the name of Lauren told her to tell our table that there is a 2 drinks per hour limit. I then asked if they had informed the other patrons as well, that's when Melinda became quiet and wouldn't answer other than she was being told to only inform our table. I looked around and asked if it was because of my race. She refused to answer other than state the bartender Lauren and bouncer have issues with black people and there are more accepting bars nearby. I decided to cancel any pending food/drink orders and leave at that point. Melinda did apologize and told me she felt bad but it seemed like a common occurrence at this establishment. I've called multiple times to reach a manager but they aren't available. Please be aware if you're a person of color especially if you're Black. read more

Horrible experience with them. Had a reservation for 12 people. We showed for our reservation and initially tried seating us in an adult only area. We made the reservation for 5 pm on a weekday and they did not ask if there are any minors. Then they wanted to seat us on separate tables. We walked out and went somewhere else. I feel like Razzals was way better! They had this delicious chocolate cake, but now the Point has no dessert menu. They do have scoops of ice cream if you're craving something sweet. Man, this bar would be perfect if the bartenders weren't so terrible. I randomly stop in to see how the vibe is and everytime I come in I'm sobered up within 1 hr from constantly waiting on drinks. It's pretty clear they only serve the daily's in here and it's pretty obvious one of your bartenders is stealing all the tips from the way they react if you try to cash out with someone else then whoever started your tab. Although the food is decent, they have four pool tables, and the TV screens are busy with various sports, the service is terrible. One bartender and one server who dont clean dirty tables after people have come and gone. Its worse when there are pool teams playing. The speakers dont work in the back half of the bar, and when you ask the bartender ro turn up the music, they are very reluctant. Personally, I like hearing muisc play when in a bar, especially when Im paying for rhe music. I've had my eye on this place for some time. For no particular reason, I've never made it in. On December 4, I decided it was time. So glad I did. For a sports bar it was very nice and clean. HUGE. Empty (effing covid), lots of seating options. Our server was very sweet and accommodating and playful with our daughter. It was a nice touch. I have missed seeing that kind of service. But the best part was the food. The food was amazing! I had a peanut butter and cheddar burger, it was so good I can't find any witty words for it. My wife had the steak and she sat it was the best in some time. She especially loved the calamari fries. I very much enjoyed the totcho's. Check this place out. Racist is all I can say!!!! The Point was always my go to, this place was fun, the food was good, and the crowd was great. It was my moms 46th birthday so instead of going out to Seattle I decided we go here for drinks. Now I know Arlington has this stigma that it's racist. So of course everyone we invited was skeptical to come, i told them otherwise and gave them my word on how great this place was. I spoke too soon. From the moment we got there we were singled out, bothered, and treated very unfairly. We were not loud, rude, drunk, or incoherent. The Caucasian bartender with the buzz cut had the worst attitude I have ever seen. We had a big group but everyone was kinda spread out everywhere, but for some reason the bartenders wanted to pick on the people who were African American Or Filipino. It got so bad that security came up to us and told us that they arent sure why we are being picked on and that we are the quietest group in the bar. As we decide to leave on of the customers at the bar decides to call the group the N word. Never have I heard this word before come from someones mouth used in harm. Went in last night for a late dinner, around 8:00. Apparently they have live music on Saturday evenings. This was a plus. 1 star there. Been here several times and the service is always hit-or-miss. It wasn't terribly busy, for a Saturday night, but the waitresses took a very long time getting to our table, then taking our order, and finally delivering the food. Food is always good, so I'll give 1 star for that. Very clean establishment (It's newly remodeled), clean restrooms, etc. 1 star there. So, in addition to the fact that the service is hit-or-miss, I feel that I should comment on the hygiene and general appearance of the waitresses. Many of the gals are overweight and wearing clothes that accentuate that. Fishnet stockings, short skirts, tight fitting shirts, etc. I think the owner should establish some guidelines for their dress code. They don't have to dress fuddy-duddy like old ladies, but come-on, cover up some of that - I don't want to see muffin top hanging out of your shirt, or your thunder thighs jiggling under your fishnets. read more
