With the exception of my choice of groom, choosing Elicia as my photographer was the best decision of the day. First and foremost, Elicia's work is gorgeous and absolutely speaks for itself. Each shot is like a work of art. I have never been one to frame photos but I can't imagine not displaying her work on my walls. One of the many things I love about Elicia as a photographer is she doesn't try to stage you using those "standard wedding poses." She will direct you to a spot with amazing light, give you some posing "tips," step back and then just let you and your partner be yourselves. The results are photos that are insanely beautiful but also reflect the couple you are. In addition to being extremely talented, Elicia is the sweetest person! She used to do event photography for Yelp and also provided photo booths at Yelp events. We have many mutual friends and acquaintances. Krisandra has gone on to photograph weddings (her main gig) and do family portraits and other shoots for those friends and acquaintances. Having gone to countless Yelp events and seeing so much of Krisandra's terrific handiwork, it was a no-brainer for me to propose hiring her to cover our parties. I knew she'd be a perfect fit. Thankfully, everyone was on board with the idea and we booked her and a photo booth for our holiday party. Her quoted price was within our budget and she offered to work with me if it wasn't. Krisandra's photo booth and photos were a hit! The photo booth was a lot of fun. We got to choose a backdrop. We went with silver tinsel on white because it was nice and festive. The photo booth came with holiday-themed props. The photo booth had an attendant, Krisandra's lovely assistant Betsy McPherson. There were four pictures per photo booth session and we got unlimited prints throughout the night. Krisandra worked with me to get my company's logo and some additional text to print on the bottom of each photo strip. It turned out great. Both Krisandra and Betsy had fantastic attitudes. They were super sweet, warm, and friendly (that's why I love Krisandra). Betsy encouraged people to enter the photo booth and have fun with the shots. I've encountered many photo booth attendants who just stood there and literally did nothing or they just sat on a chair on their phones; very impersonal and unprofessional. Krisandra and Betsy were the opposite. They engaged with people and really enhanced the party's atmosphere. While Betsy ran the photo booth, Krisandra was out on the floor taking various candids and posed shots and shots of the space/scene, etc. Her pictures were outstanding. She covered the event well and made everyone look good. We got our photo booth pictures in less than a day and the event pictures in about a week. I know Krisandra shot the wedding of a mutual friend not long before our party, so she had many photos to edit after our party, and it was the holidays on top of that. Communication was good. Krisandra and I mostly communicated via email and she was responsive (unlike other photographers in the Atlanta area). We booked her and Betsy for three hours and she showed up one hour early (on time) to set everything up. To be on the safe side, I booked Krisandra several months in advance and we worked together through paperwork and any other issues along the way. For example, the Atlanta Braves/SunTrust Park required she provide a certificate of insurance in order for her to shoot and provide a photo booth for our event. At the time, she'd never heard of such a thing (me neither), but she was able to work with her insurance provider and produce one for me. I can't recommend Krisandra enough for event photography and/or photo booth needs. I look forward to the next time we/I get to work with her.

I contacted her via email and she requested a phone call to make sure we both got our points covered. At first, I was a little intimidated/shy about it ... but I am so glad I did it. It sold me right away! She was just so kind and touched upon a lot of points I hadn't even thought of. She did an engagement shoot and our wedding. If you are a shy person and socially awkward, like me... DO AN ENGAGENMENT SHOOT! Not only will you have a little practice before the big day, but you will feel so much more comfortable on the big day. For our wedding, we had her, a second shooter and another handling the photo booth. Photo booth was such a hit! All three ladies were very sweet. I love Krisandra's style of photography. She is very relaxed/real and NOT cheesy. Engagement pictures were great and I received them pretty quickly. Very Bad Experience! He wasn't professional at all! Just…read moreacted professional. He contacted me for a photoshoot, and I accepted being he has good work and good reviews. He used his photography as a way to try to communicate with me on levels that have nothing to do with the photoshoot. I didn't mind being nice, but I made sure to put my foot down anytime he crossed the line. He said his inappropriate comments were just jokes, and I believe it because I thought he would be more professional being he shoots celebrities. But after this experience it's clear he used it for predatory purposes. I got a bad vibe in ATL, so I paid my own way and paid for my hotel.. and all my needs. This was an unpaid shoot, but agreed to be a trade off so we could both use great pictures toward ours brands. But unfortunately went sideways, because I didn't want to stay with him even though I told him I don't need a place to stay, for I have friends in ATL and can get my own hotel. Then he had a whole different mood at the shoot because I went "clubbing" with my friends instead of dinner with him. Needless to say.. he didn't send me any of the photos I asked for. And the photos that are supposed to be "implied".. he didn't cover my private parts I asked to be covered and then posted the picture a month after I told him I didn't agreed with the picture being released in that manner because it was in bad taste and didn't represent me or my brand. As you can see in the text messages below.. all I asked was my boobs be covered.. and he made it about "men I sleep with" and "clubbing".. when none of that is his business, or the issues; for we came together for work! Trying to harass me by posting bad taste photos, and demeaning my request by playing dumb, or bringing up what I do in my free time is insane for he was just the photographer for one damn shoot! I only known of him for a month before we worked together. It's clear this man thought I was going to get to ATL and hang out with him even though I told him I'm only there for business. Since I didn't hang with him or give him attention, he threatens me with copyrights to expose photos I didn't agree with, and stating he will hurt my career with "the industry will know". He is a predator! So if you work with him, make sure contracts are involved, make sure you get all of the photos to decide what pictures you want edited and distributed. And only deal with him during the shoot and have people there with you! Don't do "implied" shoots because no telling what he is doing with the photos. Terrible man and human being.. using his photography to try to get a woman, and because it didn't work in his favor, he holds onto the pictures, and then released ones in bad taste to try to embarrass me. All because he didn't get a date.. which I never agreed I would do! I told him over and over no. I'm not interested in dating anyone. Yet, this is how he acts a month later.
