Their was a valet service to take our bags and park our car safely. While we relaxed, went to eat and have fun at the Monterrey bay aquarium for a bit... There was glasses of wine and a charcuterie Board of cheese and crackers there for guests when we came back to check in officially. The cheese was great, wish they had pepper jack. But that's just me being greedy. The room itself was lovely, cozy. And quite when needed/wanted. Especially since it was can be loud with the doors to the balcony open. The balcony of our room faced the main street (cannery row) which is perfect for us. We love people watching. Especially with a fireplace lit next to us. That was heaven, when we wanted to go to sleep. It was dead silent once we closed the doors to the balcony. No sound whatsoever from the street. Great wall mounted TV that we didn't even use. Just was happy to relax in that bed. Those pillows were very soft. The biggest surprise was the complimentary chocolates they gave us when we checked out. Not only was it unexpected. But those chocolates were amazing, absolutely to die for.

Spindrift is one of those places. Extremely clean and updated room with comfortable bedding and furniture. My husband frequently took naps on the window seating (often dozing off while people watching). The fireplace was a great feature in the evening with a glass of wine and charcuterie plate. Staff were attentive and friendly.

The bed was surprisingly, cozy and comfortable. There is a gorgeous resident black and white cat, super friendly and I loved sitting with him. The view is gorgeous and all around beautiful energy in this place that is over 100 years old and has witnessed a lot of people and energies.

I was torn about whether to stay in Carmel by the Sea or Monterey so when I did a google search for hotels and saw this one had great reviews I picked it. I was on day 9 of my trip, was exhausted and flying back to New York the next day so I really just wanted a quality, safe, clean, nice hotel to end my trip and that didn't happen. The hotel is massive, it gave me real old school, resort vibes. Enormous lobby with televisions, dark wood chairs, giant bar and restaurant but it was horribly outdated. I mean, green carpet, I felt like I was back in the 90's. I checked in they could not find my reservation. I had booked on hotel tonight and they asked me what kind of room I booked. I told them one with a view and a manager came out and told me they didn't have any ocean view rooms. It was 10:30 at night, at this point I didn't care I just wanted to go to sleep. Eventually, after waiting at the front desk for a half hour they were able to locate my reservation. In the meantime I had left my luggage with the bell hop. They told me they would bring my suitcase up for me. I asked the guy to take it out of my trunk because I had just had surgery and couldn't do any lifting. Remember that for later. They gave me directions to my room and I couldn't believe the path I had to take to get there. Elevator up to the fourth floor, then I had to walk down an extremely long hallway, down another hall to ANOTHER elevator. Then I was to take that elevator DOWN a floor to get to my room. It felt like a joke. It was so unbelievably inconvenient. Throughout my journey to my room I noticed all of the windows in the hallway were cracked open. I realized quickly this was to air out the moldy musky smell of the hotel that desperately needed renovating. The carpet was filthy. My hotel room was so bleh. So outdated, the bed was so high I had to jump out of it my feet didn't touch the ground and I'm 5'8. The furniture was old, the carpet, I wouldn't take my socks off. I set up the luggage rack right in the front of the room so that when the bellhop brought my luggage up he could rest it on there for me since I made it clear I couldn't lift. I saw two bugs when I pulled down the comforter and at that point I was done. I went down to the front desk and told them about the bugs and that I wanted a new room. They couldn't help me. Completely ignored my request so I called the booking agency to tell them what was going on. I went back up to my room and saw my luggage in my room, horizontal on the floor despite the luggage rack being open and set up, right, next to it. Cool. I had to call someone up just to lift my luggage onto the rack because again, couldn't lift, post-surgical, made that clear. Whatever. Long story short by this time it was 11:30 pm I just wanted to sleep so I did that and left first thing in the morning. This hotel has absolutely no business charging the rates that they do. None. I would not stay here again.

Upon arrival, the very kind man at the front desk had told me our room had been upgraded complimentary as we were celebrating a birthday that weekend. We ended up staying upstairs of the lobby in the most beautiful suite I've ever seen that even had an ocean view. The room was impeccably clean, had two TVs, a living room & a king size bed in the other room. There were two fireplaces that worked with a little timer with options ranging from 30mins to 120mins. They also gave us a free bottle of wine for the birthday we were celebrating!!! Each evening from 5-6 they offer complimentary wine tasting & cheese & crackers. The wine was delicious and it was such a fun moment in the day to take a break and just enjoy our time. The gentleman helping us out Friday & Saturday night was so kind and funny. The mornings offered a wide variety of complimentary breakfast, from sausage & egg frittatas to blueberry muffins. Everything was hot & fresh and the staff was very attentive. In my opinion, there were no downsides of staying here. The staff was so kind & thorough with everything. The parking was $17 a night but I think that's a good deal... many hotel parking situations are $20 or more. I will definitely be a repeat traveler here.

The breakfast was very good too; they served us a bread pudding with scrambled eggs and bacon. The inn itself had a comforting, vintage feel (without feeling dilapidated). In case you decided to go with one of the less expensive rooms (like I did) the inn also has rooms where you can sit and view the ocean. The inn is located close to the aquarium and local shops, so it was very convenient. Parking was easy to find- there is a parking lot in front of the inn, or you can find plenty of street parking. I found that the parking lot was almost empty when I went a few hours before my check-in time. I would definitely come back here for any future stays. :)

I also really liked Yuri and Casey. They were both lovely and friendly. Cons: The lobby is odd, dark and uninviting. There should be a check in desk and it should be welcoming. There could be a luxury candle burning to make it smell nice. The piano room is strange too. There should be a small bar and lively music or classical music. The sofas should be useable. It should be a place for socializing. The wood burning fireplaces are outdated and should be gas with a switch. My room was nice but smokey because of the fireplace, which I didn't use. Fresh baked cookies in the evening would be nice. Whatever their plans are, I hope the owners make improvements but don't over-modernize.

For this area and an Ocean View room (The lovely Bay View), that price point is incredible. In full transparency, the ocean view from the Bay View room is over the rooves of the neighbors across the street but it was still lovely. And the decor of the room, Inn and lovely garden, service and daily breakfasts were all amazing. And speaking of the breakfasts, they were plentiful and absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful omelette one morning, stuffed with fresh ingredients and a side of asparagus and fruite, delicious French Toast another and a stuffed crepe the other. (The other morning we headed to our absolute favorite place on the planet for an early lunch....feel free to reach out to find out where!) I also had a fantastic 4 mile run from the Inn as it is so close to the water and they have a wonderful walking/running trail right there. We received a complimentary room upgrade to the Bayview room. There is even a partial ocean view! Breakfast was great! Parking is free, on the street right in front of the Inn. The Old Saint Angela Inn is very homey and charming. The bed is very comfy as are the memory foam pillows. Everything is clean and comfortable. We were walking distance from everything we wanted to see and do in Pacific Grove and Monterey. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this Inn and look forward to our return visit.

Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. This time we had the oceanfront room with the sofa bed. Beautiful views, of course, from the balcony. The room was clean, however there is an ant problem in the bathroom. It was not too bad, but we still weren't thrilled to see an ant here and there crawling on our things in the bathroom. It is strange that they use cloth shower curtains, so every time you take a shower they get soaked. Some toiletries are provided, but not as many as they used to. They used to give lotion, shower caps, shower gel, etc. Now it's just bar of soap, shampoo and conditioner. The bathroom is nice, though, with double sinks. Sofa bed worked out great for our 8 year old. She said it was comfortable, and we were also comfortable in the king size bed, which had a firm mattress. It can get noisy in the room with the balcony door open due to the seals and seagulls, but closing the door blocks most of the sound. We kept it open in the day and shut it when we went to bed. Breakfast - well, I guess you can't really complain too much when it's complimentary with the room, but it's really nothing to write home about. Hard boiled eggs, fruit plate, yogurt, and some muffins. Me, being a diabetic, I couldn't really eat any of it, except the eggs. Our daughter enjoyed it, though she is pretty easygoing. We had been hoping to save some money by eating breakfast at the hotel but we ended up eating breakfast out every day we were there. Be prepared to do A LOT of walking because this hotel is at the very end of Cannery Row -- although it's great exercise, and gave us a chance to work off all the calories from our meals. lol. The room was nice, we'd probably stay there again. One thing we were disappointed about was the hotel used to offer a discount if you bought aquarium tickets through them. They no longer do that. They also used to offer free bottled water in the room, which they also no longer do.

When we decided to extend our stay by an extra night, our harbor-view room wasn't available for the additional night, but they went out of their way to make it work so we didn't have to switch rooms. We really appreciated that! Parking was also very reasonably priced at $25, especially compared to other hotels in the area. The room itself was spacious, the bed was very comfortable (firm, just how we like it), and the harbor view was absolutely perfect. We were a little concerned after reading reviews about the sea lions being noisy, but we actually loved hearing them from the balcony! Once the balcony door was closed, we couldn't hear them at all, and they never disturbed our sleep. One of our favorite perks was the complimentary binoculars available to guests--they were a fun touch for watching the harbor. And don't miss the sunrise from the fourth-floor rooftop terrace--it's absolutely beautiful! There were just a few minor things that could be improved. The hotel only has one elevator, and it can be quite slow during busy times. We also wish the freshly baked cookies were available throughout the day. They were put out around 3:00 p.m., but they disappeared almost immediately because they were so popular. When we arrived, our room temperature was around 78°F. We called the front desk to ask about the A/C and were told someone would come up. Security arrived and explained that the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, so the options are to use the fan or open the balcony door. It would have been helpful if the front desk had shared that information when we called. We left the screened balcony door open while we were out the next day, and the room cooled down nicely. The only other thing we wished the room had was a microwave. Overall, these were very minor issues compared to everything we loved about our stay. The location, views, comfortable rooms, and outstanding customer service made for a wonderful experience.

NOT the type of B+B if your idea of a vacation is quiet privacy. Yes, I have stayed at many B+B's, and many of them were much more private. This house is more like staying with family--people are always out in the common areas and you WILL need to make small talk quite often. There were always people out by the cookie area, game area, the Bocci Ball court, and of course during breakfast. We are by no means snobs, or socially awkward. We have very busy lives which include our jobs, and expending our energy 20 hours a week volunteering for those in need. We are always peopled-out at home. When we go on vacation, we really do prefer to have the choice to be alone. For breakfast here, there are no private options. There is a large table that seats most of the guests there, and a smaller table that seats 4. If the house is not full, they move the plates from the smaller table to the bigger table. I suppose my only recommendation for this house would be to at least have a few 2 person tables for couples who would prefer to eat breakfast alone without asking to be separated from the group and looking like snobs. Or perhaps they could do away with the big table and replace it with a bunch of smaller tables and make it cafe style.I know we can't be the only people who don't like being forced to make chit chat with people on vacation. This is a warning for those of you who are like us in that aspect. Ah yes, and an iron in our room would have been nice! Now on to the positive--we were greeted by a very gregarious John who gave us the house speech that took about 15 minutes. He wanted to make sure you knew everything that was available for you to enjoy. He told us about the house like he was telling it for the first time--not bored by having to tell new guests the same thing every week. I think the thing that stands out here are the amenities. There is a constant stream of goodies for you in indulge in--limoncello, wine, juice, water, fresh baked cookies (try the oatmeal) , tea, sherry, milk, hors d'oeuvres at the nightly happy hour, etc. There is nothing like going to bed with milk and cookies! The Bocce Ball was really fun, and John actually took 5 minutes out of his personal dinner time with his dinner sitting on the table to graciously explain how to play. This act of kindness stood out to me. The gardens are just lovely and well maintained. You can just take a stroll through them, play Bocce among them, or sit down to a great book at the small table outside. Our room, the Mimsy, was very small but charming. The ocean view was awesome. We could hear distant noises during the night--the crashing waves, seagull chatter, and the occasional seal bark. The relaxing beach noises made for a great nights sleep. The matresses are adjustable to your sleep number. There are no TV's here. It made for good conversation between my Husband and I at night. This would not be the room to stay in if you are traveling with a friend as the shower is completely see-through. :o) I appreciated the full breakfasts that were served. There was always a protein option. The first morning was a sort of omlette-cup (delish) along with a raspberry croissant-very flaky and yum. The second morning was stuffed french toast with bacon and fruit. For both mornings, the breakfast consisted of two courses, and had unlimited "Jabber Juice" which was a very nice tropical smoothie with coconut. We were always stuffed--probably too stuffed. We saved this as our last stay in Cali. It was the most expensive place of our trip, but it was quite nice. We may look for a more private option next time we are in Monterey, but I'm very glad we tried the Jabberwock. You will probably love it if you like to be social while on vacation. read more

There is, perhaps, a danger in too many glowing reviews. Ours is a cynical age in many ways, we're so used to hype that we take even the most positive reviews with a grain of salt. The Jabberwock consistently gets these reviews, though, because it is one of the warmest, coziest places you will ever stay. Dawn and John are two of the kindest, most generous hosts you could ask for... I know this for a fact, because I rented the entire inn. Well, more to the point, my fiancee - now wife - and I took over the Jabberwock for a weekend to have our wedding on the grounds in the lovely garden that sits not to far from John's bocci court. Our wedding went off perfectly in no small part due to Dawn and John's efforts to make it so. Dawn was one of our caterers and her cheese-stuffed bread and mushroom caps were two of our most talked about hors d'oeuvres. Indeed, all of our guests ranted about the beauty and comfort of our chosen venue, we think the Jabberwock is going to see more than a few of "our guests" as "their guests" in the future! So whether you want a cozy weekend away or an event of say, 35 people or so, my wife Heather and I recommend the Jabberwock without hesitation! read more

A Whimsical "Mini-Moon" at the Jabberwock Inn! We spent our mini-moon at the Jabberwock Inn, and it was a magical experience. We stayed in the Mome Rath room, which was lovely and fit perfectly with the inn's charming Alice in Wonderland theme.The hospitality was top-notch. Dorothy was amazing, helping us get oriented and serving fantastic hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Rick and Suzanne made our mornings special with incredible breakfasts--our absolute favorite part was the famous Jabber Juice! It's a must-try.The inn is in a perfect spot, within easy walking distance of local restaurants and Cannery Row. Between the beautiful grounds and the warm hosts, we couldn't have asked for a better post-wedding getaway. Highly recommend! read more

we visit Monterey quite often, and we always, always stay at Jabberwock. Rick, Suzanne & Dorothy are like our friends&family. Breakfast: super delicious, don't think you could find any place serves better. Also, they really acconmendate anyone's allergy, Appetizer & wine at 5pm: the best you could find from any B&B, Local dining: we are very happy with all their recommendation, All rooms are super clean with very comfortable bedding & plush bath towels. the living room & dining area are spacious. There are cookies, coffee & tea in the evening. We've madeseeral friends from staying at this place...:) Jabberwock is like our 2nd home! read more

We just got back from a stay at the Jabberwock. What a wonderful B&B !! The house is exactly what you think of when you are looking for a B&B - gingerbread moldings, old fashioned grace & elegance & innkeepers who are delightful. John & Dawn really are in the perfect environment. From check in to check out they made us feel like one of the family. The food was to die for - hearty & decadent at the same time. We stayed in the Mimsy room - not their highest priced but, after seeing all the rooms, we feel this one is the best! Right down to the beautiful view of Monterey Bay. The Jabberwock Inn is a truly magical place! Beautiful historic building and the Innkeepers, Suzanne and Rick were amazing, gracious, genuine and made us feel as if we were old friends. The room was outstanding and I never wanted to leave. We woke up to views of the bay, wonderful breeze coming through the craftsman style windows, fireplace in the room, and much more. Their breakfast was beyond delicious, the grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed their Bocce Ball court. The Inn is within walking distance to Cannery Row and beautiful Pacific Grove. We highly recommend you stay there and we will be back! read more

If you are into Alice in Wonderland, yummy breakfasts, wine and cheese at 5 every afternoon, cookies after dinner, and staying away from the crowds then this is the place to stay! Walking distance to Cannery Row, the aquarium, Fisherman's Wharf and Lover's point - though the hill back up to the house can be a bit rough after a full day on your feet. The staff are amazing. They really accommodated our every wish, including an extra night, extra wine while we played chess and breakfast in bed. Can't wait to go back! read more

This is a fantastic B&B! John and Dawn are very friendly and set up a really nice atmosphere where all the guests can interact and enjoy each other's company. Breakfast is around a central table where everyone shared stories. Every evening at 5 you can sit down with John and Dawn and enjoy a glass of wine, snacks and conversation. John and Dawn were lovely hosts and provided so many extras like milk and cookies, wine and hot hors d'oeuvres, brandy in the bedrooms and sleep number beds. You could walk to the main attractions and had a lovely view of the water. We wish we could have stayed longer. read more

This is a very good bed and breakfast. Suzanne and her staff were great the breakfast delicious and afternoon tea or wine comes with appetizers. We stayed in the Tove room which we loved so unique and spacious. Definitely our go to BnB in Monterey. read more

The bed was surprisingly, cozy and comfortable. There is a gorgeous resident black and white cat, super friendly and I loved sitting with him. The view is gorgeous and all around beautiful energy in this place that is over 100 years old and has witnessed a lot of people and energies.

The staff was warm and welcoming, and the happy hour with wine, cheese, and fruit was a great touch. The courtyard with the stone fire pit and waterfall is beautiful and makes the whole place feel extra inviting. You also really can't beat the location--it's an easy walk to the village, shops, restaurants, galleries, and the beach. Our room was updated, very clean, and well-appointed with a fireplace, large TV, microwave, fridge, and a nicely renovated bathroom. Now for the downsides... Carmel happened to be in a heat wave while we were there, and the room was HOT. There's no AC, and the tiny fan they gave us barely made a difference. It definitely made sleeping uncomfortable. But the biggest disappointment by far was the breakfast. For the price you're paying per night, it was honestly shocking how underwhelming it was. The only protein option was hard-boiled eggs (and if you don't eat eggs, you're out of luck). Everything else felt like the bare minimum--mediocre toast, bagels, croissants, granola, yogurt, etc. The yogurt was so watery we couldn't even eat it, and the rest was just very basic and forgettable. We did appreciate that it was delivered directly to our room. Overall, we did enjoy the stay because of the charm, location, and friendly staff, but the heat and especially the breakfast were definite letdowns. We'd consider coming back, but with much lower expectations for the food--and definitely not during a heat wave.

When we got there, an inn keeper greeted us warmly and gave us a quick tour of the place before showing us to our room. The room was clean and provided everything you would expect from a hotel room (towels, soaps, robes, etc.). I only wish there were more counter space for the bathroom. The breakfast was very good too; they served us a bread pudding with scrambled eggs and bacon. The inn itself had a comforting, vintage feel (without feeling dilapidated). In case you decided to go with one of the less expensive rooms (like I did) the inn also has rooms where you can sit and view the ocean. The inn is located close to the aquarium and local shops, so it was very convenient. Parking was easy to find- there is a parking lot in front of the inn, or you can find plenty of street parking. I found that the parking lot was almost empty when I went a few hours before my check-in time. I would definitely come back here for any future stays. :)

I also really liked Yuri and Casey. They were both lovely and friendly. Cons: The lobby is odd, dark and uninviting. There should be a check in desk and it should be welcoming. There could be a luxury candle burning to make it smell nice. The piano room is strange too. There should be a small bar and lively music or classical music. The sofas should be useable. It should be a place for socializing. The wood burning fireplaces are outdated and should be gas with a switch. My room was nice but smokey because of the fireplace, which I didn't use. Fresh baked cookies in the evening would be nice. Whatever their plans are, I hope the owners make improvements but don't over-modernize.

I love Carmel, but this was a very disappointing accommodation, and $190/night! I was definitely fooled by the pictures.

We stayed in the Blue Bird Cottage (two adults, one 9 year old + a dog). Here are the things to know. PROS: - Location: You are less than 5 minute walk to the ocean, 2 minutes from restaurants - Plenty of parking in their private lot (in front on Ocean and in back) - Very pretty, modern/European vibe to the property - Free light breakfast (oatmeal, pastries, coffee, juice) - FRIENDLY staff - Clean rooms - Blue Bird Cottage feels bigger due to the higher ceilings - Ice + filtered water available all day/night - Great cleaning staff - Small fridge - In the Blue Bird Cottage, the upstairs twin bedroom does not open up to the downstairs other than the stairwell, which is tucked away (i.e. upstairs is very private). THINGS TO CONSIDER: - The Blue Bird Cottage faces Ocean Ave and because it is so adorable, people stop to look/take pictures. You can hear them walking by. They cannot see through the windows, but can if you have the door open. Did not bother us. - Because Blue Bird Cottage faces Ocean Ave, you can hear every car all night/early morning. We brought a fan for white noise and the cars did not bother us. - Blue Bird cottage has a modern, very bright bathroom, but the ceiling is low. 6' feet and taller would have to duck in the shower. - Wish the Blue Bird cottage had a dresser downstairs; there is one upstairs for the 2 twin beds. - The bed was very uncomfortable, this was my only CON. The mattress is not a pillow top. It is firm and coiled. When someone moves, the entire bed shakes. Recommendation to Lamp Lighter: PLEASE upgrade your mattresses to something plush and higher-end. Otherwise, this place is an A+.

It features a grand entry way framed with ivy and beautiful English gardens. I could not get over how lovely the lobby and lounge were. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Off the lobby there is a communal fridge available for use (the rooms don't have their own). It is stocked with some sodas, which was a nice option to have. Our room was small but comfortable. I adore the doors in the room- the main door features a bright stained glass window and the bathroom door is a solid and beautiful piece of wood. There were plenty of pillows and blankets provided, as well as a nice fireplace. Everything was very clean- especially in the bathroom where our 2-person jetted tub was. They provide robes to lounge in which is a nice touch. In the evening they had a wine and snack hour in the lounge. That made for a pleasant start to our evening as we enjoyed the outdoor fountain humming alongside the classical music they were playing. Breakfast the next morning was tasty and featured an array of fresh berries and fruit. The waffle was fluffy and served with syrup. We chose to eat in the communal dining room and enjoyed a good chat with another couple staying there. The inn is located pretty much in the middle of Monterey- it is walking distance to restaurants but be aware that there are hills in that area. If you choose to stay here (and you should!) dont forego a little snooping in cupboards! We found a few diary books dating back to 1997, and had a blast reading about everyone's adventures in Monterey from so many years ago.

I was also able to check in a little earlier. Breakfast was at 8am the next day and when I went at around 8:55-9am the breakfast still wasn't ready. There were a few families waiting around for it as well. A pleasant stay, wouldn't recommend if you have serious seasonal, environmental or dust mite allergies.

You are not starved for choice with…read moreaccommodations in Carmel by the Sea, but our group of three seemed to be hitting a bit of a challenge. A room for three didn't seem easy to come by. Most hotels appeared to allow 3 guests in a limited number of rooms and they all came with much higher prices. The Monte Verde has a great location, it's time tested having been around for decades, it was the best of all other options. We did have to book one of their biggest and most expensive rooms. It was room 6, the Family Suite. Up a small flight of stairs, it featured a large main bedroom and bathroom, plus a window lined extension room that featured a day bed, bistro table and chairs, and a second TV. We arrived in town before the established check in time and really only expected to have our bags held until the appointed hour. But the woman at the desk joyfully said she had just checked on our room and that it was ready and that she would check us in! The room was very comfortable. Everyone got their own bed, there was plenty of space to be had everywhere for all our stuff. An extra supply of towels were in easy reach under the sink. A downside was the ceiling fan--it was needed for air circulation but creates a strobe effect when the ceiling lights are on as well. Another was that the only mirror in the entirety of the suite was the one above the sink in the bathroom. Breakfast is included in the form of a delivered basket--English muffin, bagels, yogurt, assorted fresh fruit, and orange juice. It arrives around 8 am and, while that did allow us some extra time to do things to get ready for the day, we were pretty hungry by the time it arrived. Coffee and tea can be made in your guest room. For the fresh brewed version, it is available in the lobby also around 8 am. Overall, the stay was comfortable, quiet and we would return again.

For this area and an Ocean View room (The lovely Bay View), that price point is incredible. In full transparency, the ocean view from the Bay View room is over the rooves of the neighbors across the street but it was still lovely. And the decor of the room, Inn and lovely garden, service and daily breakfasts were all amazing. And speaking of the breakfasts, they were plentiful and absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful omelette one morning, stuffed with fresh ingredients and a side of asparagus and fruite, delicious French Toast another and a stuffed crepe the other. (The other morning we headed to our absolute favorite place on the planet for an early lunch....feel free to reach out to find out where!) I also had a fantastic 4 mile run from the Inn as it is so close to the water and they have a wonderful walking/running trail right there. We received a complimentary room upgrade to the Bayview room. There is even a partial ocean view! Breakfast was great! Parking is free, on the street right in front of the Inn. The Old Saint Angela Inn is very homey and charming. The bed is very comfy as are the memory foam pillows. Everything is clean and comfortable. We were walking distance from everything we wanted to see and do in Pacific Grove and Monterey. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this Inn and look forward to our return visit.
