Was told the wait was 25 minute. That turned into them telling us it was 45. Waffles and pancakes were absolutely delicious! Corned beef hash was saltier than Bill Belicheck after Tom Brady won the Super Bowl last year. Breakfast Burrito was missing chorizo. Our waiter disappeared after taking our order and we didn't see him again until after we asked another server for our check. Floor was so sticky my sandal stuck hard I could have done the Michael Jackson lean. Both of our breakfast orders were delivered with weird variations. New server told me the total of the check without showing me the check, attitude when I asked to see it, noticed an up charge for salsa and an already added 19% tip (bc of the Art fair, I guess, but should have been informed, especially if not shown an itemized check) Kinda bummed it wasn't better. read more

The food was good and everything but the old gentleman with glasses working as the host could not have been more rude and snappy. I guess he was bombarded with customers so perhaps he was overwhelmed but regardless there is never an excuse to treat a customer that way. I am spending money at your restaurant and am not someone to take out your bad mood on. Me and my girlfriend literally ran to the restaurant immediately upon receiving our text and were snapped at and belittled for no reason. Have always been a fan of the Jagged Fork, however today I discovered the 18% that is automatically added to the tab as a top. I'm a good tipper and would have left more than that, but it is super uncool to automatically add a tip without making it clear to the customer. The last time I ate there I remember thinking it was a little pricey, and their prices are actually very good...now I realize why, I must have tipped about 40% without realizing it. The vibe was off about everyone, almost like they were too good to serve us and they were above us. The man who seated us rushed us to the table and ran off, the waitress was rude and kept side eyeing us and rolling her eyes every time we spoke, I ordered a hot chocolate and instead of a mug, it came in a glass with a straw? which made it hard to drink and handle. she charged me for two separate meals when she said she could substitute a side of the s'mores French toast for the pancakes that came with the classic breakfast meal. I didn't want two separate meals, and I didn't notice it until I sent the receipt to my phone. My bill was nearly $40 for just myself. 18% tip was added without our knowledge, no sign anywhere stating that, no itemized receipt until after you pay so I had no idea of any charges until after it was said and done. read more

I have been eagerly anticipating the opening of Jagged Fork in Ann Arbor ever since its sign went up in the former Marnee Thai space. As an avid brunch lover, I was excited about the fun and unique menu items I saw listed on their website for their other locations. Since they are finally in their "soft opening," my husband and I stopped by this weekend and it did not disappoint. The restaurant has been completely renovated to have a modern industrial vibe, and is welcoming to all types of customers, from families with small children, to couples, to single diners. The food was fantastic, with really interesting combinations of flavors. We wanted to try both sweet and savory dishes, so we split The Elvis (graham cracker french toast stuffed with peanut butter and banana cream cheese and topped with bananas and bacon) and the Voodoo (a Mexican-inspired eggs benedict that featured a thick, fluffy english muffin, chorizo, and salsa verde in place of hollandaise). They were both so delicious, and the portion sizes were large, but not overwhelmingly so. The coffee was also good, and refilled expeditiously. Our server seemed a little frazzled, but never dropped the ball on anything we needed. We got there around 11 am on a Sunday and only had to wait about 10 minutes, but the line got significantly longer as we ate. They text you when your table is ready, so if you do have a long wait, you could theoretically walk around Main St. to pass the time until your table is ready, which is a nice option. Be prepared to look for parking. There are a few parking lots within a few blocks' walk, but they have varying days/times/costs. Overall, I am very impressed with Jagged Fork, and can't wait to work my way through the menu. I may have a new favorite brunch spot on my hands! read more

This is my first time at any of the Jagged Fork locations and I will definitely be going back. The skillet was cooked perfectly and I'm so glad I got the chorizo because it had a nice kick of spice to it that went very well with the cheddar and green peppers. I also added some ketchup and Frank's RedHot Original Sauce to the dish, making it an overall delicious taste but the flavors were already amazing without them. My eggs over medium were also cooked perfectly so always happy to see the yolk ooze out! For skillets in particular, I was able to upgrade my side to a specialty pancake for only $2 more so I would recommend using this sweet deal. The Fruity Explosion Pancakes came in such a huge portion even though it was only a side and you know it's good pancakes when you don't even need to add anymore syrup. Their syrup also came warm, which was something I personally enjoyed. This is a new brunch place in town and currently in their "soft opening" phase so some logistical mishaps were expected. For example, the iced coffee that I ordered came out after my dish had already been served. The waiters are still in the process of learning but with time, this should easily be addressed. Overall, I would give this place a try! Even though they just opened, it was super busy already on the weekends so please call ahead to make reservations. read more

Received a timely alert that this place just opened last week. Perfect timing since we were taking our college girls out for breakfast. Erin, our server, was friendly and helpful. I knew the portions were large so 4 of us split 2 meals. Debating between sweet or savory, we decided on skillets with pancakes for a side. Best of both worlds! Skillets were tasty and very large. We upgraded the pancakes. Red velvet was divine. The cream cheese frosting was perfect. The fruit on the fruit explosion pancake was super fresh and the pancakes were light and fluffy. I went here for brunch the other day with friends. Super disappointed in the food and the service. I ordered an omelette. It came out significantly over cooked. And my toast was burned. I didn't even eat it. The waitress was just terrible. She forgot part of our order and then delivered, and it wasn't hot any more. In addition, when she presented the bill, she "secretly" added 18% to the tip, but didn't tell me. So, at first, I was really surprised by how high the bill was for 3 people. I have been going to the Grosse Pt location, when I can get out that way, for over a year now. It's so good, and I'm my opinion way better than any of the other locations. Until now. I had the cinco de mayo omelet and a side of corned beef hash. Both were as good as or better than anything I've had at the original. This place is a little smaller, but the atmosphere is nice. I came here 2 weekends in a row for breakfast/brunch (around 10am - come early or it gets really busy!, you decide what meal that is for you haha!) because I loved the decor, service, and food the first time I came in! 3 stars for now because I didn't enjoy the food the second time! But I'll be back and update my review if I change my mind about the other things I try - their pancakes, crepes, and skillets all look BOMB! Note: I'm mostly dairy free, so removing cheese might have played with the overall taste of some things! Parking: there's meter parking along the street right outside the restaurant and around the back on S Ashley Street - all free on Sundays! If you loop around to S Ashley via W Jefferson, there's a section of free parking there (no meters!)! [Recommended]: - Voodoo Benedict (English Muffin Topped with Guacamole, chorizo (Mexican spicy sausage), cheddar cheese and two poached eggs topped with salsa verde) with Hash Browns: I had this without the cheese and still loved it! The eggs were poached beautifully! The egg yolk gracefully slid down the sausage, and guacamole allowing the English muffin to be soaked with a mix of the salsa verde and egg yolk (OMGGGG my mouth is watering right now!)! It's not your regular eggs benny because instead of the hollandaise sauce you get the green salsa! Everything worked out well and it was delicious! [Other things I've tried but was not so excited about...]: - Chicken Pomodoro Omelet with Fruit & Toast (stuffed with sautéed chicken, tomato, basil and onion with a house made pine nut basil pesto and mozzarella, topped with fresh marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese): {NOTE: I ordered it without any cheese!} The egg was fine, but the chicken with the sauce and all tasted pretty dry to me. I just wasn't a huge fan of the combination of flavors and I could barely finish half of what I ordered. Fruit was ok and I didn't even make it to the toast - which actually looked pretty good! - House Made Corned Beef Hash with hash browns and pancakes (2 egg - chose scrambled, and you can choose to upgrade to specialty pancakes for $2! This is probably a good way to not have to order a full order of pancakes and just to try them!): I think the biggest downfall of this dish was that the corned beef hash was wayyyy too salty! The food is good, however, the staff is deceptive. We visited for brunch. Upon ordering individual mimosas, the waitress recommended a bottle. After she rattled off 4 different champagnes, we asked for a step above the cheapest. We didn't know that they only offered Standard Bottle Service $55 and Top Shelf Bottle Service $155. This was not mentioned and is only visible on the online menu. We were on-site and had physical menus. When our bill arrived, $540+ later, we were a bit surprised. The staff did not apologize and shared that prices are not shared so that they don't offend guests. I never submit reviews but hope to save someone a few hundred dollars by sharing this. Lesson learned to verify price before ordering and don't assume the bottle will be $20-$50 like most brunch places. read more

We had a terrific Sunday breakfast at Jagged Fork. We arrived with a group of eight, and were there early enough for the team to cheerfully pull together a couple tables to seat us. The menu offered a variety of choices including both familiar comfort food and some unique creations. Portions were generous, food excellent, and service professional -- a great experience all the way around. My friend had had good experiences at the Detroit outlet of this chain and the menu looked promising for breakfast. The space is fine, nice booths right in downtown A2. It was not crowded for our 9:30 weekday meal. The two servers were very nice, friendly and sporadically attentive. So, why 2 stars? I ordered eggs over medium with no runny whites and toast. The eggs arrived 5 minutes before the toast was brought out. My friend got an omelet with mushrooms and Swiss and hashbrowns. The omelet was ok, the hashbrowns were undercooked and tepid and they did not bring her toast at all until she flagged the waiter 10 minutes into her meal. So the food was meh and the service uneven.
