My visit to the restaurant was like all others. The staff person behind takes my order and he prepares my food. He is always courteous and makes sure I get what I ask for. For my sides, I had mac and cheese and yellow rice. After I received my food, I headed home with my car smelling delicious. When I got home I dove in to my food. The mac and cheese and rice were delicious but of course the jerk chicken was the star. It never fails. The spice level is always the same as I remember. I always need a napkin to wipe my forehead. It was extremely delicious.

The ambiance is what you would assume a Jamaican restaurant would be: Jamaican flags, Jamaican colors, Jamaican customers. The only reason why I give this place a 4 stars is because they were missing entrees. I originally came here for the jerk chicken, but they were out, even at lunch time (12:00pm). Other than that, it was reasonable pricing for the portion I got. I would come here again.

I was initially in my feelings because they had a few "ain't gots" which is always annoying. But the customer service was legit. She was super cool. The jerk was ok, not spicy tho, the rice & peas were initially mid until..... she slid me a side of that ridiculous oxtail gravy. They should be selling that stuff by the gallon!!! Surprisingly the mac & cheese wasn't trash like most Jamaican restaurants. I am now so excited to try their other dishes. . .but I know that i will be getting the Jamaican patty every time with whatever I order - it was that good! The jerk chicken came with rice & beans, cooked cabbage, and flat cornbread. I know that the latter two food items have other names, but I don't know that they are. I just know that they were tasty! I'll also say that they chose a great location to open. I always drive on Cody Rd S, and I will be sure to stop by more often. Lastly, because they are new, they seem to be working out some of their issues. Be sure to call ahead if you really want a specific dish. They were out of an appetizer and an entree when I called. Their credit card machine was also acting up, so you might want to bring cash as a backup. I am sure that they will work out these issues in the near future.
