This is my Sunday Sanctuary - I come here for Bloody Sundays! If you are a fan of Bloody Marys then you must come here and make sure to have The Best Bloody Mary (atleast the best Ive ever had)! The place is a decent size and the people (from workers/patrons) are all friendly.

Here's hoping I get the Bulls tix!

The James Joyce is a beautiful Irish Pub! They serve the best pint of Guinness I've yet to have in Chicagoland.

The atmosphere is great here and you feel like you're in Dublin. Good Guiness. James Joyce is lively.

Great Irish pub vibe with proper Guinness pours and friendly staff. Helped me get a table on a crowded Friday night. Wish I lived closer.

If you don't love this place, I probably don't like you! Great neighborhood place, order food from the place next door, NJoy.

Beyond that, the pints of Guinness are poured with tender loving care, which is really the only way to drink Guinness.

It was a pretty busy night the hostess was very sweet and our waitresss was very attentive and honest. There was a mistake made in regards to an item that was ordered and our waitress came over to tell me it was her fault and that she will get it out as fast possible, I was shocked by the honesty but very much appreciated it as that's how you build rapport with your clientele. A manager stopped by and bought my drink and food for the inconvenience which they didn't have to do but they were very kind for that. When the food came out it was worth every bit of the wait the chicken was juicy the lettuce was crisp. Although mistakes can happen having a staff that acknowledges it is huge. I forgot our waitresses name but she was the shorter of the two she was wearing glasses and a sweater (I was sweating just looking at her). I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends who have some time on their hands because although the food takes a while it is worth the wait. Thank you to staff for a great impression. Will deff be back.

That is the star studded Gem of this place because it fits my wife's dietary needs. The menu itself is pretty pricey though if you come here on certain days where there's always a special it can make up for it so I would schedule your time coming here by studying the specials of the day. This place has a lot of TVs and is very interactive by having a own kids area. If dining inside isn't your forte, they have a dining area outside. They even brought a TV outside for one guest so they could see the FIFA game. They have a back area by the bathroom where they have their video gaming and it really isn't much to check out. Staff takes too long to come by and service their guests even if it's only at half capacity. Parking wasn't an issue too. I also feel like this is the only place worth checking out in this little downtown.
