We had to cancel the wedding altogether, and thus all of the other services that would go with it. Most of these folks understood that sometimes things outside your control happen. Not Atrin Studio, no no! What we got from them was rude and condescending for no reason. After these messages were sent we were blocked and they proceeded to then attack one of my wife's bridesmaids via text. For clarity: Our venue became unavailable last year during our desired date due to a scheduling conflict with the venue. We were far enough out from our wedding that we were able to reschedule for the same date the following year(2024) and let the other booked party take the venue for 2023. However we lost our jobs in January of this year and had to cancel in entirety. This is unacceptable behavior. Do better. Edit to address the owner: You were EXPRESSLY asked, when we had to reschedule the first time, if you wanted us to pay an additional deposit. You said NO. You did not, AT ANY POINT, tell us that you were booked for this year. While loss of income in 2023 is our fault and we SAID AS MUCH, you canceling two dates this year is on YOU not us. We are not in control of when somebody decides to lay us off. FOR THE RECORD, and it's right there in the text, we ARE sympathetic that our actions last year cost you. We are sympathetic with you losing money BECAUSE WE DON'T CURRENTLY MAKE ANY. Try and spin this however you wish, you were in the wrong for acting unprofessional in this exchange. "I asked about your wedding, not your job" was condescending and uncalled for. How the hell do you think people pay for weddings? You THUMBS DOWN my wife's message to you detailing a personal issue. Unprofessional. YOU TEXTED THE BRIDESMAID WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PLANNING OUR WEDDING AND ATTACKED HER! But tell me more about how professional you were. We found David after he did our friend's wedding about a year before our wedding. My wife was a bridesmaid at that wedding and remembered how at ease he made everyone in the wedding party feel. We corresponded with David through email and after working out a few details of our package, we hired him to do our engagement session and wedding. Our engagement session took place at two locations on a crazy humid Los Angeles day. We were able to photograph at our favorite restaurant Bavel and we moved over to The Row for our second location. At each location, we gave David a few minutes to scout each place and his eye for the perfect picture was amazing. About two weeks after the shoot, we asked David for a few shots so that we could use them on our invitations. We knew that we were asking for a pretty quick turnaround but David was able to oblige. The engagement photos turned out great! We got married in Rancho Palos Verdes and David knew exactly where he wanted to take us before the wedding. He chauffeured us around the sleepy beach town to different locations and after seeing the shots, we were happy that he did. At our wedding we had one request, we really wanted to emphasize photos of our family since my mom would get mad if we didn't have them. David was happy to oblige and not only did he get individual portraits of everyone, but we also have some spectacular group shots. Overall, David made the whole process was pretty easy. While David, my wife, and I know how hard and awkward it was getting us into the perfect poses, none of that awkwardness can be seen in the pictures.
