Sam Calvert was rude, condescending, aggressive, and completely unprofessional for months. I finally fired him after he sent threatening text messages to me for 2 hours from 9:44-11:47 on a Saturday night furious that I was unavailable to see a home on his schedule. He made inappropriate demands for access to my financial information several times. In the text messages he told me I was "bullshit", a "liar", inferred I was unable to afford the home, and said I was a bad daughter. Along with the termination agreement and explanation as to why I was firing him I also sent screen shots of all the 29 aggressive text messages to his broker Mr. Nicolaysen who took a few days to respond. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I am sorry to have to write this review for Tony Hall and Associates, but I feel it's important that perspective clients be made aware of a situation that occurred but a few hours ago. I was ready to make an offer on a property being represented by Jaye Kreller, one of Tony Hall's realtors. My realtor from Caldwell Banker, was helping me to purchase a property with the sole intention of renting it out as an investment property. After looking at a few locations, I found one I was very interested in, and it was represented by Tony Hall and Associates. It all came down to whether or not I would be able to legally rent the property as per occupancy rates and rules set forth by the HOA. We told Ms Kreller that I was ready to make a very serious offer, but that I first needed to be assured that it could be rented. This was late Thursday. Ms Kreller made no attempt to find out, something, quite honestly, she should have already known from the day she signed this seller on to be her client. When it became apparent that Ms Kreller had no intentions of finding out what I needed to know, my realtor attempted to contact neighborhood's HOA directly for herself. Unfortunately, she was told they were already closed until Monday morning. This was late Friday. Without giving much thought as to her client's best intentions, and knowing someone else was already interested, Jaye Kreller never bothered to inform the seller that there was another seriously interested buyer. I viewed the property again on Saturday, and we once again told Jaye Kreller that we were going to make a full price offer as soon as we knew that the property could be rented out. Late Sunday afternoon, I received the news that the seller accepted an offer from another buyer, we never got the opportunity to make any offer. Why should all this matter? Because it is obvious that this realtor didn't have her client's best interest at heart. Whether we got into a bidding scenario with another potential buyer and the selling price increased a few thousand dollars more or not, it's obviously she couldn't care. But if it was your property being sold, that extra money would be pretty darn important. I find it hard to believe the seller wouldn't have waited an extra 18 hours and come Monday morning, find out if there were two prospective buyers (much preferred), or only one. What would you rather have? So today (Monday), I very calmly contacted Tony Hall himself to let him know of the situation. My initial thought was not to blame him, especially since how could he be aware of all the actions of his employees, except that when I explained what transpired, it quickly fell on deaf ears. He obviously doesn't care. Is this who you really want representing the sale of possibly your biggest asset? I'd think twice.

George Wilson recently listed a home in Cary that sold the first day. That's very common in Cary…read morehowever what the Seller doesn't know is that Mr Wilson DID NOT represent his Seller's best interests as he agreed to in the contract he signed with the Seller. I also viewed that house the same day/time as the buyer who ended up with the house. My Realtor tried to contact Mr Wilson by phone to let him know she was bringing an offer but he wouldn't return her calls. My offer to purchase that house was almost IDENTICAL to the one the Seller accepted with one big difference...my offer was substantially higher than the offer Mr Wilson presented. The Seller NEVER new about our BETTER offer since Mr Wilson chose in his zeal to make the quick sale NEVER bothered to call our Realtor back. Oh he finally contacted her the next day to let her know it was already pending and gave his lame excuses as to why he didn't return her call. I get it. The housing market is hot. Most houses sell quickly and offers can be plentiful. In this case I wasn't even get the opportunity submit my offer the same day. It is my opinion that Mr Wilson DID NOT represent his Sellers best interests because he didn't bother to see if the other offer was better...which it was...by $20+k. I would never list a property with a person or company who apparently lacks the integrity to do his best for the clients he's supposed to be representing. I'm sure the Sellers would not be happy if they knew all the details.
