If you want to learn jiu jitsu, the mill is the ONLY place you should be looking. I have been training under coach Jordan for about a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier with his teachings. I've even stopped regular weightlifting to dedicate myself to this art. The class schedule is very accommodating, there are early and mid-morning classes in addition to an evening class every day during the week, plus you have the option of personal lessons in the early afternoon. Weekends feature open mat and stand up sparring but totally optional. The kids classes are the best, I love walking in at night seeing them all working hard and if you ask them or their parents they'll tell you how much fun and what a great program it is. There's also been a growth in the amount of women training at the mill too so ladies don't feel intimidated! Oh and I forgot to mention that the Muay Thai/kick boxing program is the bomb. Both Jordan and Carlos really go out of their way to help their students learn I can promise you that. On that note I just want to say I can personally speak positively for every single member who consistently trains here and once you join, from the very first day you are part of our family. Well we're to begin!! My experience in the Jiu Jitsu Mill portchester was amazing first of all because the heads! In this case coach Jordan and Carlos are real athletes and real professionals!! In the moment you step in in to the academy they treat as what you are a costumer. In my case I train for four months, I'm a professional tennis player ( playing the international tennis circuit) so perform a high performance training I. The best way possible it's mandatory for my, so during my Off season I joined coach Jordan and the whole team! One of the things that the academy works in its friendship professionalism and respect. Jordan and Carlos both they are professional on a high performance level in each of their disciplines, but that's not what make them teach well, what in my experience with the them and with the whole team is that we care from each other, we push each other, even when you have some limitations, and they help you to improve them, you have a weakness that became your strongest weapon. The Jiu Jitsu mill is my second home and the people I have met and trained with are my second family. Coach Jordan is not just my coach but had been a dear friend for over 18 years. I have never seen Jordan conduct himself with anything less than complete integrity and caring for himself and others around him. Coach has the ability to push people past their own personal boundaries and strive for their true potential. We all don't know what we are capable of and Jordan can see this in all of us! I LOVE this place! My husband and I signed up for Muay Thai classes so we can get in shape, and 5 weeks in we both feel great! The facilities are bright and clean and Coach Jordan and his staff are friendly and helpful. The class schedule offers lots of opportunities to make it in before and after work (there are day classes too). Carlos, the Muay Thai teacher, is wonderful. He is encouraging and his classes are challenging but fun. We do a nice mix of strength exercises and sparring moves. He ends each class with some basic yoga stretches, which is a really nice way to wind down. I leave feeling energized and peaceful. I also love classes with Ron - he is tough and his classes feel a bit like boot camp, but I leave each one feeling positive and strong (and sweaty!). He is great at pushing you to accomplish more and I have a real sense of accomplishment afterwards. The classes I've taken here are never boring and everyone has such good energy. Doesn't get any better than here! Jiu Jitsu Mill is the place to be. Every day I'm greeted with a warm big smile by Coach Jordan. Every day I'm pushed to my limits of being the best I can be. Every day I learn about friendship, loyalty, commitment and camaraderie at this academy. We aren't individuals here, we are a team. In fact, not only are we a team- we are one big family. It's Coach Jordan that is the thread that binds us. The Mill is like a second home to me. I commute over an hour every morning to train here because the level of care, attention, diligence, and expertise that has been fostered here is unmatched by any other gym I've ever been to. I have trained in BJJ elsewhere before, but it is at the Jiu Jitsu Mill that I developed a real love and understanding for the art. Coach is an all around good guy to work with; from the initial phone call all the way through the teaching experience he really goes above and beyond. This was my first experience with BJJ, and it has been exceptionally positive. I would highly recommend his personal training classes; it was hard for me to get good times due to my work schedule, but totally worth dragging myself out of bed early on Saturday to get it done. My experience at ECUBJJ Academy, Port Chester, continues to be a positive and productive learning experience. Jordan breaks down moves to a fundamental level so that the student can fully appreciate the intricacies of each move that he passes. There is a flow to his teaching which allows the student to see how one move leads into another. Update: Four months in and 35lbs down so far (233-198) and no signs of slowing down. JJ is an amazing workout and builds some useful skills. Environment is everything! The people at the JJ Mill are the reason I keep going 4-5 days a week! A steady JJ regime along with eating right, you won't find a better weight loss/refining workout anywhere. Top notch gym. The Jiu-Jitsu Mill is an Awesome place for people at any skill level to learn Jiu-Jitsu and they also have an amazing Muay Thai Program with Coach Carlos. Jordan does a great job at making all of his students feel comfortable at any level. With Jordan's coaching I took first double first place in my Gi and No Gi divisions in many grappling tournaments. Coach Jordan runs a great Brazilian jujitsu program. He's very involved in all of the classes. He pays attention to each student individually with their progression in jujitsu. The classes are very organized and the drilling of the moves from one to the next is consistent. When he drills it's easy to follow along because the previous drill will carry over into the next. That has made it very easy for me to learn and retain the moves. All the other students are very helpful and courteous. We are like one big happy jujitsu family. read more

The JiuJitsu Mill is an incredible place to train. Coach Jordan and Coach Carlos are very good at what they do and how they do it.
