Beautiful training facility headed by dedicated and talented instructors (professors.) For a good amount of time I have been wanting to get into training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have tried multiple gyms and classes and none of them quite have the same level of care, finesse, attention to detail and sense of community. Coming into BJJ as an adult can be a tricky transition (no pun intended). It can be really hard to find a facility you feel comfortable training in and a community where you feel equally challenged and motivated or supported. Legends Martial Arts is a gym that carefully caters to the needs of all BJJ practitioners no matter what age, level of fitness or skill level. There is an amazing sense of family and support at this gym that does happen to be home to competitive fighters with no feelings of negative judgment or intimidation. Usually BJJ classes are taught by purple or brown belts but here student have the privilege of receiving instruction from both black belt professors. I can't say enough about Legends. Coach Adam and Coach Mike are Top level instructors, whose passion for what they do is visible in every class they instruct. They are not only immensely skilled in their art of BJJ/MMA, they both possess patience and a teaching style that appeals to students of all skill sets and experience. There's a very welcoming atmosphere at Legends. Whether you've been training for 10 years or 10 days, you won't feel like an outsider here. With that said, you will be challenged though. There's no BS and no gimmicks - Coach Adam and Coach Mike will demand the very best of you to ensure you're getting the most out of your training.
