1lb (2x1/2lb patties) Cheese Burger w/Fries

Had to pay a cover just to have dinner bc they had a band starting over an hour after we arrived to eat. Pub Grub style food was nothing to write home about. The shining part about this place was the staff. They were Very good & kept the party going all nite!!!

Waaaaaangs

Visited for the wings and we pleasantly surprised! We had the salt and vinegar and the alla mama. Both were fantastic. The bartender was nice and friendly, but forgot to put in our shrimp. He acted like he hadn't, and then quickly put it in, trying to play it off. I decided to be nice and say sure no problem. The bang bang shrimp were far from great, I'll say that. They were obviously frozen pop corn shrimp, overly battered. The sweet chili sauce was too much. Would've been nice to have real bang bang sauce (more of an aioli). Either way, the experience was overall decent, and we'd come back. The atmosphere was a bit of a mish mosh; couldn't figure out the crowd!

Not following COVID-19 laws, jam packed right up to the door

Went on a Friday night and got charged a $5 cover charge to listen to shitty 70/80s music. No parking in the lot had to park across the street. This place was jammed pack during COVID, this bar didn't follow social distancing laws what so ever. Zero service, had to hunt down an employee. Would never return, there are much better bars closer like miller's crossing.

New pool tables

Love this place! From the drinks, staff, and the wings!!!! You just can't beat it. The place has an awesome layout. Darts, 8 pool tables! Awesome place.

Delicious lemon pepper wings

I would like to give this place more stars but when I walked in it reeked of a pot smell. It's not something that I enjoy while having a meal and there were no other customers in there. The bartender was very pleasant and she helped us choose wings which we were there for. They actually had a separate wing just for the food fighter's wing challenge and were promoting themselves and their wings. I do like to see that because most restaurants don't take advantage of that part of the challenge. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and my friend got the sticky wings. Mine looked great until I bit into them and they weren't quite cooked enough for me. Most people would probably have been fine with them but I don't like any pink in my chicken so I asked them to cook them some more. The bartender took them right back and they put them in the convection oven and they came back just perfect. They were very tasty and I very much enjoyed them. The sticky wings were good as well. The bartender told us about the promotions that they had during the week and if it weren't for that pot smell that lingered through my meal I would definitely give this place more stars

Upon entrance is a doorman who is so friendly and accommodating! He found us an open table and checked on us throughout the night. The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.

I am a regular at Iron Works since my job is right down the road, and it's easily one of my…read morefavorite local spots. That said, the experience really depends on who is working that day. The Good: Outstanding Hospitality: The older owner/manager is absolute gold. He takes the time to check on every single table and every patron sitting at the bar. He makes you feel genuinely valued and reminds you why supporting local business is worth every penny. Bar Staff Top-Tier: The older gentleman behind the bar is phenomenal. No matter how packed the bar gets, he is on top of his game--attentive, friendly, and never forgets about a customer. Where It Falls Short: Inconsistent Management: Unfortunately, the experience drops when the other manager is on shift. He seems to selectively check in on "business diners" or patrons who look high-end, while ignoring regulars in standard work attire grabbing lunch at the bar. It's pretty disheartening to sit right there as a loyal customer and be overlooked. Bar Service Disparity: The female bartender is fine, but service drops off significantly with her--long stretches without check-ins, and rarely a follow-up to ask if the food came out right. Overall: I truly love Iron Works and will keep coming back for the great food and my favorite staff members, but I really hope management works on bringing that warm, consistent attention to every guest on every shift--not just when certain people are working or for certain types of diners.

Our server Tyler was great as were the food runners and the house manager who checked on us during our meal. Despite being at full capacity the ticket times were on point and the food and beverage quality was perfect. Clean rest rooms, plenty of parking and a friendly host staff getting us seated made for a great experience. Can't wait to return again.

She showed me to my table, brought a carafe of water, and welcomed me in. I was quickly welcomed by Sergio, my server, who shared the special and the soup of the day. Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. I will absolutely be back to the Shanty next time I'm in town.

The fries were great, sandwiches were also really good! Would like to come back and get one of their main dishes as they all sounded pretty good. We got the bread pudding for dessert (sorry forgot the photo) but that was really good!! Would get again.
