Its charm--that whimsical, old farmhouse layout with all the winding, rambling rooms and cozy nooks makes it feel completely detached from the usual busy corridor right off Route 2. Between the cozy tavern space, the great craft drink menu, and that distinct "hidden retreat" vibe, it really turns a standard dinner into an experience. It's the kind of place where you can easily get lost in conversation while exploring a great menu. I went here for my birthday dinner and they were AMAZING! We ate under their barn area and it was such a beautiful experience. They even let the flower company come in before I got there and set up all of the flower displays and bouquets for my birthday, which made everything feel so special. The staff was absolutely amazing, respectful, and so accommodating. They really will do anything they can within reason to make sure you have a great experience. The menu definitely has more of a Mediterranean feel, which personally isn't my favorite type of food, but they were still super accommodating to what I wanted and needed. And the drinks are STRONG definitely not stingy with those! Between the atmosphere, the staff, and how accommodating they were for my birthday, I would absolutely go back. Again a fantastic tasty lunch at this unique restaurant. Austin our waiter was very helpful with the menu. He has a really warm personality. We decided after Austin suggested the cornbread corn chowder to start. It was very creamy , tasty and a perfect temperature. We also enjoyed the crab croquettes and mussels. Also outstanding. You won't find a more unique place to dine in the area. I was told the decor changes with the seasons! Which I definitely will want to check out. The outside seating is also adorable and inviting. The restaurant has a tree house in front of the entrance which explain the name of the place. Inside is beautifully decorated with flowers, books, old books and decorations. It's a busy place so we made a reservation. We were taken to one of the table and were seated right away. They offer various different type of dishes including sandwich, seafood, mac and cheese, salad, pizza and more. We ended up getting few things to share with the group. We got tree house tavern salad, special Thai mussel, sweet potato pizza, lobster mac and cheese, and whipped feta and ricotta. Everything end up arriving all at once. Treehouse tavern salad was slightly sweet and refreshing with candied walnut, apple and vinegary dressing. Thai mussel was flavorful with hint of Thai curry and coconut flavor. The broth paired very well with baguette. Sweet potato pizza was cheesy and savory with hint of sweetness from the sweet potato. Lobster mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful with lobster chunks. Whipped feta and ricotta was sweet and savory pairing well with the baguette. All the food was tasty and easy very unique for the most part. We also had their desert which they bring full samples of all their desert to show. We ended up sharing cheese cake because we were pretty full. Service was good but the place was but the server was but awkward as little details were missing from the service. Lack of trays for mussel shells, brought desert with candle as it was my birthday but was blown out because of the fan. The server turned off the fan but left it off so it was hot inside for a while. We had a lovely and delicious evening at Tree House Tavern. We didn't have reservations but gave it a try. We were seated in the covered garden/barn section. It was so lovely perfect for a romantic evening or for a group. We were with a 7yo so she enjoyed exploring and looking at the flowers while we waited for the food. The food was delicious. The scallops with the seafood fried rice was so good! Scallops were nicely cooked and full of flavor. The bacon and fig flatbread was hearty and yummy. Even the kids Mac and cheese was great. The beer selection was good - lots of local brews on tap. Our server, Bella, was lovely and made dinner that much more enjoyable. Clearly this is a family ran business with a lot of heart. came here for lunch after my husband's officer development, school, graduation, and it was such a lovely restaurant! I'm so impressed. My husband found this all by himself lol. The food was great and very generous portions, the interior was so cute and cozy there were multiple fireplaces and it was decorated to the Valentine's Day theme when we went in February. My husband got the steak, and my in-laws got to the chicken marsala and a salad, which all of them really liked. Service was great! Before entering the Tree House Tavern & Bistro, there is a cute tree house right in front. I walked in and informed the host that I have a reservation for Sunday at 11:00am. It was easy to make a reservation using tock. The charming restaurant that used to be a farmhouse was beautifully decorated. He bought us to our table in a room with a vintage fireplace. We started with the Coconut Shrimp. There were 5 per order. The coconut shrimp were the best I've had in a very long time. The outside layer had a crispy fried coconut breading and you can really taste the coconut and see the shrimp inside. There were some arugula on the plate and it came with a passionfruit-guava aioli. It was very yummy. For entree, I had the Day Boat Sea Scallops. The scallops came with shrimp and crab fried rice with string beans and a sweet soy & ginger glaze. I really enjoyed this dish. The scallops were cooked perfectly and there was a good amount of other seafood in the fried rice. The glaze also was very flavorful and a really nice compliment. I also had the cider spritz and I really liked the apple cider and sparkling brut mix. My husband had the non-alcoholic zero punch and French onion smashed burger. He also enjoyed his drink and food. Last evening, we celebrated my friend's 40th birthday at Tree House Tavern, and it was a first-time visit for both of us. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was exceptional. Our table even had a little "Happy Birthday" sign waiting for my friend, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and knew the specials and menu inside and out. I heard some not so nice things about this place but I like to give a fair shot and my own chance. I've been here before with no issues so even after what I heard, my fiancé booked our anniversary dinner here and we throughly enjoyed every second. The decor inside and out is so amazing. She had so many tables, and she had some huge families to deal with as well andI could tell one family was giving her an extremely hard time, I gave her grace and acknowledged her and told her she was doing incredible. She had a lot on her plate but she handled it so well and she gave us top tier service. I would come back and ask for Danielle for sure! The menu while quite limited to my liking, they did have some very tasty meals. I got the Shrimp Cocktail for starters and the lobster Mac and cheese as my meal and my fiancé got the deviled eggs with bacon and the chicken Marsala. Everything was so tasty, very flavorful and yummy, and was presented nicely as well. We both got these pomegranate type drinks they were so good, one was enough for me they do give you a good amount of alcohol in your drinks which was fantastic. I really enjoyed the feel here. The ambience was perfect and the home feel was perfect, it felt like everyone was doing their own thing but felt like one big family, I like that everyone helps each other out here as well. Unfortunately during my dinner I got a horrible phone call, so when I came back in you could tell I was crying. My server Danielle the sweetheart she is came over with a beautiful flower which made me smile and feel like humanity still exists. Let me start with saying the ambiance and vibes are a solid 4-5 stars. Imagine a flowery riff on "Alice in Wonderland" with cute, intimate tables spread out among a homelike space. Be warned, it's on the more expensive side for dining and may be a coin toss for "is it worth it" for those that enjoy a night out but also looking for value. Food was a mixed bag for us.... Starting with the smashburger was genuinely disappointing as the burger itself was dry and advertised as a "French onion" smashburger that failed to deliver any of the rich, savory flavor we expected with a name like "French onion smashburger". The hot honey Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful... The hot being more of a vinegary heat than I expected but the cream sauce was rich. Speaking of value earlier.... Smashburger was $20 and the Mac and cheese was $28. Entrees were $10-15 more it seemed but previous reviews all spoke highly of the entrees and would want to try them if we visit again. The overall service experience was disappointing for us. Not for the demeanor of the staff but everything else... We had a decent size group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) and was fortunate to have a dining room to help the kids burn some energy while not bothering the other diners. However, from ordering to entrees to arrive was 45 very hungry minutes. It also took 20+ mins just to get drinks. Once the food arrived, they also were short two of the kids meals which was thankfully corrected quick. We then were somewhat "gently" being asked to wrap things up by 3 staff members in 10 mins making the rounds to clear plates and any to go containers. We all understand the business in the food industry and turning tables, and trust me, after an hour from arriving to food on the table we wanted to get home for bed time. However, really sours the experience and would not advocate going here with large groups.... Between the kitchen and staff I can't say you'd have a guaranteed good time. read more

Visited the TREE HOUSE TAVERN last night as I was stuck for a couple of hours with phone repair being completed at Best Buy. I was thrilled to stop by and had a wonderful experience at the bar. I have a small appetite so I chose to have the side order of seafood fried rice and it did not disappoint. It was so absolutely delicious. The shrimp were plentiful and tender. The colorful variety of vegetables were fresh and the seasonings were incredible. So good... as I said, that I had to order another "side" to take home! I did spoil myself with some sticky toffee pudding of which I brought home leftovers as well. Owners Michael and Ailine were very thoughtful and said hello! Super cute spot in RI! I was in a business trip and my coworker found this spot. Luckily, she drove so I didn't get lost haha! The outside looks nothing like the inside. The interior was beautiful and very well decorated. We got a table in one of their "tea rooms" and admired the nature decor. I got a very beautiful drink before our guests came. Our server was super sweet and on point with everything. They had a lot of good dishes that we all wanted to share with each other. We got their deviled eggs, truffle fries, and octopus! Wow, the presentation and flavors were all there (especially the octopus)! Don't get me started on their dessert tray! They have an actual fake dessert tray of the size and types. We ended up getting a pastry, creme brulee, and the chocolate lava cake. I have to say that the chocolate cake def won my tastebuds. Haha. I love this place. The butter board is my favorite and I like that you can substitute the butter if you don't like one. Our waitress Erin was great, very personable and attentive. The beef short was so tasty, it just melted in my mouth. The hibiscus was amazingly delicious. That's the good, the not so good was we were seated just inside the door, next to bar, it was very loud and cold every time someone came or left. The lemon cake that came with the hibiscus ice cream was horrible, I thought it was still frozen because I couldn't fork through it, so I brought it home and the next day it was just as hard, very disappointed in that, but overall still a 4 and one of my favorite new restaurants even if it's 40 minutes away. read more

Wow, what a gem of a find! Thanks to Yelp, we were able to find this tucked away restaurant that exceeded our family expectations as the vibe matched the "Treehouse" name. The space feels straight up whimsical and slightly ethereal right when you walk in! The high wooden ceiling does help it feel like you're in a treehouse! Upon walking in, we were pleasantly surprised, seated right away and dug into this packed menu. Our server was very welcoming and accommodating as our party of four had some questions on menu items. They helped walk us through specialty items and recommendations to help us decide. From the delicious slightly sweet chicken wings, scallops, deviled eggs, and duck - all four of us enjoyed our meals to the fullest! The hash of roasted veggies that accompanied the duck = chef's kiss!! The Peach Palm Mocktail was delightful, along with the Head in the Clouds cocktail was an experience! Beautifully unique tequila cocktail, however instead of a wedge of a lime and a salted rim, they created a lime and salt cloud! It was such an innovative take on incorporating these flavors into the drink. In exploring the restaurant further, I loved discovering the wine room, expansive tea selection, dessert trays (which they bring to your table to choose from), and so many additional rooms and spaces to dine with large groups or intimate meals. The restaurant is in what feels like an old house with tons of cozy rooms all decorated for the holidays. A group of us met there for a holiday party. The service was attentive and accommodating despite the busyness of the restaurant. They have a variety of appealing looking cocktails. We shared appetizers - a whipped feta plate with toasted bread, jerk wings, shrimp cocktail. The jerk wings were amazing and a huge portion. For dessert I shared an apple crisp topped with ice cream. It was perfectly hot and crispy with creamy ice cream melting into it. There was also a delicious bread pudding with chocolate sauce. They come around with a tray full of models of house made desserts to tell you about them. There were so many options and they all sounded so good! The Tree House Tavern seemed like such a hidden gem to me. I visited for the first time with my 2 girlfriends, and we had a great experience! The exterior and interior of The Tree House Tavern reminds me of an enchanted fairy house; It's whimsical and cozy. We also had a really nice, friendly, and funny waiter. He kept us entertained all night and was super personable! For the food, we started with the European Butter Board. This was a really fun starter and our favorite was the sun-dried tomato and basil butter, closely followed by the honey and orange! For my main, I chose a special - the Sesame Encrusted Tuna. Unfortunately, I did have to send my first piece of tuna back because I order it rare and it was very overcooked. But the second piece was perfect and delicious, and the accompaniments were quite tasty too! The bok choy was tender and flavorful, the wonton chips lent a nice texture, and the quail egg was a fun addition! The dish was anchored by the rice and the sauce tied it all together. We also ordered dessert. I can't exactly remember what it was called, but it was the Bundt cake infused with chamomile and vanilla, and topped with a lemon curd and honey drizzle. This was a really tasty and pleasant dessert. The cake had a nice density and the toppings were really good all together. The flavor was a little light and we didn't get many chamomile notes, but still enjoyable! Overall, I thought The Tree House Tavern was really excellent and a fun and unique setting and experience. Our new favorite restaurant in the area. We were looking to go somewhere special for dinner and decided on this place because it's always packed, and we can see why. It's a cute spot with a pretty large parking lot out front (although you still might find parking difficult during busy hours). The spot itself is really neat - it's an old house that was turned into a large restaurant, and each "room" has its own theme. Dress is casual to smart casual, with a "laid back" themed playlist (Tame Impala radio) playing in the background, another good sign in my opinion. The food and drink experience was excellent from start to finish. We split a bowl of lentil soup, which was delicious. For dinner, we ordered the 14-vegetable bowl and strip steak. Dessert us a must too. Each dish is presented like a work of art, and the food is clearly made with great care and love. The staff did an outstanding job arranging three tables together so our entire group could comfortably dine together. I was truly amazed that everything was perfect. Very cute tavern located near the Inskip Auto Mall. There's a private parking area, so it was easy to pull in and get a space. The tavern is a combination of an indoor dining area and a expansive green outdoor space. We asked for a table outside and it was just beautiful. Rustic and lush. Very nice. I got a non-alcoholic beer (Sam Adams) and it was surprisingly good. For dinner, I got the Buddha Bowl and it was a light and refreshing vegetarian dish. We went to Treehouse Tavern last night on NYE to celebrate our anniversary, and wow, what an experience. The place was absolutely packed, and I can totally see why. The decor was over the top amazing, festive and cozy. The food was phenomenal. I had the lobster ravioli, which was rich and delicious, and my fiance ordered the steak, cooked to absolute perfection. For dessert, we shared the cannoli and the pistachio chocolate cake, and both were incredible. The drinks were great as well. The caramel macchiato cocktail leaned a bit more bitter than sweet for my taste, maybe real caramel would take it to the next level, but it was still very good. Our server was friendly and attentive.
