Her Digestive system was shutting down, and every meal was causing GI pain. She suffered from extreme anxiety, PTSD, and depression and had zero quality of life. After "force feeding" her to get her to stabilize medically, the hospital discharged her without a solid care plan in place. She was still struggling through every bite and the anxiety and physical discomfort each moment brought her. She would no doubt have been re-hospitalized within weeks of her discharge if it had not been for Dr. Helm. He carefully evaluated her two days after her hospital discharge.
