I love this place. I'm not a huge fan of being twisted up and hearing the sounds of my neck pop as if I'm the victim of a mortal combat finishing move, but every time I leave I realize I've been missing out for years by not seeing a chiropractor. This place makes it affordable and more importantly for me, quick and convenient. If highly recommend trying it out once or twice before thanking me for my recommendation. My husband uses the service, he is enrolled on a program with four visits for $90 per month. We usually go to South Gate facilities and he actually has gotten better from his back problems. Tonight we tried Glendale location, check in was fast and courteous, doctor was attentive, cautious and soft, my husband is used to more pressure since he is a big guy; however he liked the new approach and he felt good about the therapist. Why not five stars, well we brought our son to get first time therapy and they rejected him since there was no time enough before closing. Bummer. Yesterday I was treated at The Joint in Glendale CA by Dr. Vincent Manfre. As I understand it, Dr. Manfre mostly works out of the Pasadena office, he's only in Glendale certain days of the week. I am really glad that Dr. Manfe was working in Glendale the day I went in because the treatment I received from him was excellent. Dr. Manfre really *listened* to what I had to say about the health challenges I was experiencing and he incorporated the information I gave him into the treatment he provided. He told me he treats each patient depending on their unique needs and situation. I really value the fact that Dr. Manfre does not have a "cookie cutter" approach to treatment - especially because my past experiences with chiro have not all been positive. Dr. Manfre was very gentle and always explained what he was doing and why. Since the benefits of chiro are cumulative I appreciate the fact that The Joint offers treatment plans at lower prices than individual treatments. I am a huge lover of the Joint chain! I joined about three months ago after suffering a series of migraines due to neck misalignment and tension. They are a quick, easy solution. This chain in particular has been my favorite out of the three I have been to. The doctors here are very professional and interested in what your exact problems are, working to solve them, and even giving you advice to work on at home! There are usually a few people in the waiting room, but understandably so, because the doctors here are wonderful and do wonderful work! There are only three doctors at a time, and they work as quickly as they can while respecting each individual's time with them, so please be patient with them! read more

I tried to pay in cash for my initial service of one month which I upgraded to 3 months and was asked for CC instead. Once my 3 month service was over they charged me over and over. I called headquarters in AZ and Glendale location. I was refused a refund for 4 months of service that I never received. This is unethically and anyone doing business would not operate like this. Wait time was short and doctor called me in soon enough! The doctor did a fantastic job and I immediately felt the positive effects of the adjustment. This review is mostly for Dr. Elena. Front desk was great, Dr.Andrew was great. Elena, Not so much. With my first EVER coming to the joint I can say the parking was good, the place was clean but unfortunately, I still had a bad experience. I came in with bad sciatica pain and explained to the Dr. that I haven't seen a chiropractor in over 2+ years due to moving between cities. My sciatica has been bad this past week forcing me to come in for adjustment. I was referred to the joint by a friend, have never been here before. I thought I communicated well but to my surprise Dr. Elena asked me if I was aware "this wasn't a massage"?. As if the big sign outside that says chiropractic wasn't a tip off enough to me. She then continued to ask "so do you understand what we do here? and I'm worried about your 10/10 pain?" --- after insulting my intelligence for another 3-5 mins, she adjusted me to which I do feel slightly better but I KNOW there are better chiropractors more suitable. She then tried to sell me a $200.00 package after explaining once more "this isn't a massage". Pfft. I'll go see a real chiropractor. read more

This is a good place to come for a quick adjustment, but if you have on going serious back problems , I suggest you find a real chiropractor that will warm up your muscles or massage before doing an adjustment . Went in midday on a Saturday to address a pinched nerve on my neck that has been giving me headaches and sensitivity for 3 weeks. Got an adjustment from Dr. Webster. It was the most aggressive chiropractic adjustment I've ever received, I thought my head would come off. The day passes, and the next day (Sunday). But then I wake up Monday morning at 5 AM with the worst pain in my neck and shoulders - extreme agonizing pain. I was crying in bed, unable to lift my head. I literally had to lift my head with my own hands and arms because attempting to lift it on its own was too painful. I was so scared. I got up to take an Advil and hoped it would help, but no, I was in pain in bed for another 2 hours before I finally decided to call a Lyft and take myself to the ER. I was unable to turn my head left or right, so driving was out of the question. I told the ER doctor what happened over the weekend, and he mentioned that the chiropractic adjustment definitely aggravated my neck, and I was diagnosed with torticollis. So now, on top of a pinched nerve that wasn't addressed (I'm still getting headaches), I'm dealing with a painful neck injury. I've had to wear a cervical collar all week and get physical therapy to stretch out my neck and regain range of motion. My whole life is at a standstill - I can't drive, can't work out, can't work, can't socialize - all because of one visit here at The Joint. Needless to say, I will not be coming back, and I do not recommend this place at all. Stay away. read more

Short: Amazing quick service at an affordable price. $29 Long: I don't know how the hell this happened but I pulled my neck drying my hair after the shower. I'm thinking wow wth, welcome to 32. I guess my body is not what it used to be. I've gone to chiropractors for sure and it almost seems like a scam of what some of them charge. So I did my research a little and searched on yelp. After a few calls I found the joint. Just a disclaimer when I look at reviews I tend to read the bad ones first to see if they're even legitimate, and I couldn't find a bad one about this place except for one that complained about not spending enough time. Anyways... this place is pretty modern and they have usually 2 doctors in the back adjusting patients. On your first visit, you have to fill out a 10 page info sheet and I was like what the hell is this, but after the doctor goes over with you your problems and sees where we can start. The first visit is roughly about 15 mins. He recommended the wellness plan which I believe is about $70-80 a month and you get 4 visits a month. And if you go over that it's only $10 each additional visit. Some of these other hacks on yelp charge $100-150 starting and then it goes down to about $50 per visit. The following visits are much shorter. I would say 5 mins max if you get a conversation going, but after you get adjusted that's it man. What else do you want? Quick speedy service and you're on your way. Love this place!! read more

This office does not take appointments. I called the day before to make an appointment for my child and was advised they only take walk-ins. I let the receptionist know that my child got out of practice at 5:30 and we would be there soon after. She advised me that was not going to be a problem as long as I completed the new patient paper work ahead of time. Paper work was emailed to me and I got to the office a little after 6:00pm with it completed. I was then turned away with an explanation by the Doctor that he leaves at exactly 7:00pm and he did not have the time to see a new patient. The receptionist then told me that the girl that I spoke with the day before gave me incorrect information. Training issues, bad customer services, wrong information given. I will not be returning to this office. The lesson here is go somewhere that takes appointments. read more

I hesitated writing this review but felt I had to warn any new customers thinking of coming to this location. I came into this Glendale office Sunday January 15th around 2pm. I am usually greeted by a friendly receptionist but that wasn't the case this visit. She seemed so bothered to check me in. I almost felt like leaving immediately. She did the same negative energy greet to my younger brother that came with me this time. Once we were seen by the chiropractor the visit became way worse for me. The female chiropractor was rude when I asked her simply how she was doing. Her response was so incredibly rude. She replied "why are you taking a survey? Why do you want to know?" And she actually stood and waited for a reply. She was working back to back patients since this place specializes in fast in and out fast food style service instead of actual chiropractic long term care. I wish I waited for the male chiropractor that my brother got. He was polite and took time to do his adjustment. He even showed him a stretch to do at home to help! So if this wasn't bad enough of a visit for me we again were treated badly by the receptionist at the end. Please think twice before coming to this location! Just made me even more paranoid so I had to stop and try it for myself. I had intense pain in different parts of my body and really needed help. I'm glad I took a chance on this location after having read all the reviews to find out all the good ones are true. I feel tons better and it has only just been my 3rd visit. The membership is worth your health. As for the not so good reviews here, people in pain are grouchy. Add that to the instant technological age we live in, you get impatience for things that require patience and time. LA is crowded. If that makes you unhappy, consider moving to quieter places with less options. If you want to go to a good place, sometimes you have to wait or do what I and lots of others do, go here in the morning or ask when they have down/slower times. He was able to crack my neck when another chiropractor couldn't. I followed him to the Costa Mesa office the next two days and I feel like a new person. I literally just came back from a walk-in session because I threw my back out and there are no other chiropractors open on a Sunday near Los Feliz. I am STILL in a lot of pain! NOTHING was alleviated! This is the THIRD time I have come in to get my back treated and have left feeling exactly the same, if not worse. Dr. Andrew Haig is amazing and I have loved being treated by him. However, the last three times, I was seen by three different people who clearly did not know what they were doing. And, today was the absolute worst! I paid $40 to have someone do stretches on me that I could've Googled and done at home on YouTube. Then, I was given a half-hearted "massage" on the area of pain and then told I was done after about 5 minutes. I was clearly still in immense pain when he tries to pull me up into a sitting position! THEN, this man did NOTHING to help me get my items out of the basket that was underneath the table. What kind of doctor just watches and lets​ his patient who has thrown his back out get down on his knees to retrieve items that are UNDER the chiropractic table???? Unbelievable! He made NO move to help! And, to throw insult to injury, he asks me if I have ice at home. WOW. Doesn't take a genius to see that I have to ice my back! Not my first rodeo! I am so angry and disappointed by the low quality of services I have repeatedly received the last three visits. This is why I moved to a different doctor, but unfortunately, he is not open on the weekends. I will never be using this clinic again! Other than the kind receptionist, none of the other two "doctors" said goodbye or offered to help me as I limped out of that godforsaken clinic. The Joint-- not to be confused with the Marijuana initiative or prison--is the best chiropractic deal in town with excellent treatment and well trained staff. Although I am never hurried, I also hardly ever wait. In 10 days I have been transformed alleviating the pain from years of sports, stress, arthritis and likely at this point age. But at the Joint these problems are gently adjusted away to live healthy and pain free. Dr. Andrew is the MAN! He cracks me up and I love it! In all seriousness, it's nice to run in, get adjusted, and be on my way. Due to my profession, adjustments are needed often. I started to feel a bit of a back pain (mostly a cracking back after a race). Instead of going to my old chiropractor I found The Joint on Yelp and decided to check it out since it was right next to work! Went in for a walk in, it was about a 30minute wait. When Dr. Andrews saw me he was very nice and friendly. My treatment involved a few cracks and lasted only about 5 minutes I would say. My back felt better and no need for me to go to the doctors again for a while! I paid $19 for the first visit. Every visit after your first is $29. The office is located on a busy road but there is parking in the back. read more
