The joint concept is great for the chirp industry from a consumer standpoint. I have been a member since it's infancy in this area and San Diego. However, aliso viejo and Lake forest have two doctors that are great and seem like they are great professional chiropractors. However, the rest of the doctors seem to be using tools without doing much adjustments... Depend on tools instead of using spine, hip and neck adjustment procedures. In the beginning I would have given five star but the company has recently started to shift their talented doctors to different locations which throws off my consistent visits and leaves me with doctors that aren't as good which lowers the quality of the adjustment and consumers begin to lose trust and creditibilty to the brand. JOINT... Just franchise and have good doctors own their own so that you can attract those great doctors instead of shifting those few great doctors and losing consistent clientele that already are going to the joint in a specific location... The Joint is not your average chiropractic office. It's a completely different concept, so keep an open mind. Dr. Olivieri is fabulous. She always gives me good advice. I love the fact that I never need an appointment and I can get in and out in about 20 min. Regular adjustments keep me out of urgent care, so this place is a lifesaver for me! read more

I have been waiting for the day I created a Yelp account for me to write this review. In terms of the chiropractors / check-in / effectiveness, I would give this business 4.5 stars! They were kind and efficient. However, when I had to cancel my plan last year, things got painful. When I put in my 30 days notice that I would have to cancel my plan (as I was moving to a new city an hour away), I verified with two receptionists that I would be able to use my final four visits. They both assured me I could. I went for the first one-- no problem. The second time a third receptionist insisted I pay the "reduced" membership price ($15 I think?) before going in. Because I twisted my back earlier that day, I tried fighting it, but caved in order to get my back fixed. A few days later, I noticed a charge for $60 on my credit card account-- apparently the last time she charged me for the reduced visit, she made a mistake and restarted my membership. I spent thirty minutes trying to get her to negate the whole charge (as I had most definitely not authorized that) before a different receptionist walked in and eventually made it all go away. The original receptionist then made it clear I was not going to get my final two visits as promised and sent me on my way. So... the whole membership makes me leery of recommending them as wholeheartedly as I would have prior to trying to leave. Just make sure you get any promises in writing!!!! read more

I have been seen several times at the Lake Forest location and love the regular chiropractor, Dr. Stuart. He is a very good chiropractor. In general, the Joint is a great deal for those who need on-going chiropractic care. Some of the chiropractors are better than others. I recommend keeping track of the chiropractors you like and calling to see who is working before you go in. It is so nice to walk in 7 days a week without an appointment and be seen when needed! The chiropractors will admit this is not the place to go for an acute injury. They do not have x-ray machines and are not equipped to do anything other than a quick adjustment. If that is what you need, this is the place to go. I higly recommend the monthly plan. read more

I had migraine and neck pain after heavy computer work for 10 days. I went to see a doctor, but he just gave me pain killer. Just after some cervical adjustment at the Joint Chiropractic, I felt some dizzieness for an hour. After several hours later, the pain is gone! I really appreciate his work. I have been twice and treated by two of the Chiropractors. Both did just what I needed and took their time to adjust me. The initial visit took about 30 minutes, so plan for that when you go. Continued to charge a card I did not authorize them to use for 6 months nor did I use their service during the same period. I did not receive a call, email, etc. in regards to my absence but had no problem charging me for a service I was not using. My bank stated they contacted them for an additional card to charge so they could "keep providing their services". Watch your accounts when discontinuing the service, they are not an upfront business about their policies. read more

I have been in chronic pain for the last two months after my first visit I was relieved by 30 % of the pain in my back. I cannot say enough good things about the doctors and the staff here they are all kind,Welcoming ,knowledgeable And beyond wonderful with my children. After coming here I have even decided to have each of my children adjusted and it was one of the best decisions ever. I highly recommend if you have children to also get them adjusted during my visit it was shared with me how important routine adjustments even for children are to help them while they are growing to stay aligned. I was a little skeptical at first but this place proved to be great. I've had some lower back pain for a while because I work construction but my weekly visits have basically removed that pain! I went to the Joint in Lake Forest and had a great experience. My Chiropractic Adjustment was very beneficial. I really liked the way Dr. Olivieri adjusted my neck, because I usually tense up, but with her technique I didn't. I have been to several Chiropractors beforehand, and she is very good. I have been in once and I left feeling great after the adjustment. The doctor I saw adressed my upper back pain that I had discussed with her. It is a great place to come in, especially if you have a busy schedule (it only takes a few minutes to fill out the medical form), and get adjusted. It's amazing how pain that you are having in one area can be because of an area that needs to be adjusted in a completely different area. It is like a gym membership: you pay an affordable monthly fee and you can go every week or more for a very small surcharge. You get what you pay for. I tried to save a little money since I don't have insurance and you know when they say "The cheap becomes expensive" thats what this place is! I feel that because this place is like a fast food joint. You can get full eating it, but then you feel like Cr^p. After 6 visits, I'm still having the same issue's. Horrible adjustment by Dr Noori today. He almost broke my neck and could not adjust me in the mid and lower back where I needed the adjustment the most. Dr Stuart was the previous chiropractor there who was mediocre and many times I felt that I was interrupting whatever he was doing at his office by showing up for an adjustment. This place is not good for people with problems and the fact that their chiropractors are constantly changing makes it even worse. Very disappointed!! read more
