I regularly see Dr. DeLaMare, and he has been great not only giving adjustments, but also simple exercises and stretches to help me keep problems from coming back. Membership at the joint is less expensive than chiropractic through my insurance, and flexible, too--with the option to visit multiple locations. That's especially helpful when I'm working at my office, which has a location near there. Affordable chiropractic care - hallelujah! I found The Joint through Groupon, and got a fantastic deal for four visits (had to be used within 30 days). I was seeing a chiropractor through my insurance twice a week at $40 a pop. Yuck. The Joint has visits at $29 per time OR two package options. The basic package works out best if you are going to definitely go once per week. For the month I went, I saw the same doctor every time - and I came on different days at different times. Liked that. Showed up 35minutes before closing, said they had already accepted their last patient for the day. Probably because it's Friday. Receptionist had a super negative attitude, like 'how dare you show up within an hour of us closing and expect to be seen'. Just go to the joint in Mission Viejo - the doctors there are good and they will actually see you within normal working hours. Definitely not my favorite chiropractic place. They are always busy and you have to wait for about 30 mins each time that you enter. You can tell that they are a chain because they don't treat you like a special guest. They just want you in and out as soon as possible. Once it's finally your turn, you go to the back with the chiropractor and he asks you where you're feeling tight or sore. I, for example, said my lower back was pretty tight. As soon as I said that he said ok and then popped me 2 times where I was sore. The entire treatment was under 2 minutes and I payed $40 for that. I would highly recommend going to a local chiropractor like Dr. Mason at life spring chiropractic or someone that will treat you for a longer period of time and adjust your whole body and not just one spot! read more

Then they did the same with my wife. The Ugly: I went in today to get started for the month and offered to pay cash. They declined. So since my cash is not good enough, and I am not an idiot and going to let them do the credit card trick to me a 3rd time, it is obvious they no longer want my business. I went in 2 months ago and saw Dr.McDonald and he was so awesome ! He genuinely seems to care about my aches and pains and wanted to help me feel better. I was in a car accident years ago and I have been seeing different chiropractor and His adjustment was the best I ever had ! Great Dr! Doctors like him are rare to find! The receptionist was also very sweet, informative and helpful! Super friendly and she explained everything so well. After 2 months of my membership I unfortunately had to cancel because of long work hours and I didn't have enough time to go. Me and my 2 teenage boys visited this Lake Forest, Ca location on 1/8/23 and arrived at 405pm. We were given 3 clipboards to fill out the new patient paperwork. At around 420pm we were finishing up the last page to turn in, we were asked to return on another day. So as I'm voicing my displeasure about wasting my time filling out paperwork when we weren't going to be seen, the doc appears from the back and says it was his decision. I told him I understood that it would take time for all 3 of us but could he adjust my oldest son who has been in some pain for awhile now. He refused stating that "he was too tired". This office was still open for another 40 minutes and no other patients were being seen and nobody else waiting up front except for us 3. Why say you are open till 500p if you refuse to see patients that showed up almost an hour before closing? I usually have no time to leave reviews but had to write one after my poor, unprofessional experience at this location and being turned away for a doc being "too tired" during open business hours. read more

They have great doctors but based on the overall experience. I have to not recommended. They tell you something verbally but when you are signing your self in to be looked at is a MEMBERSHIP that keeps charging your credit card and that is why they don't take cash. So basically is ends ups as gym type scam. I'm a no BS kinda guy, you help take the pain away, here is $150, no problem. But you scam me to keep getting pay until you get your $150 hoping I don't catch the charges on my credit card, well I have a problem with that. I love love love this place! I've been going there since December 2022. I love the package deals that save you money. I was dealing with vertigo in March and had gone to my primary care physician. My doctor told me to take some antihistamine and some nose spray because he thought it was allergy related. I didn't agree with him because I had a problem just walking I decided I would go and try the chiropractor there at the joint. That visit I saw Dr. Mohammad Noori. That was my first time to see him and I watched him work on another patient before me as I watched him. I got a little fearful, thinking he was too rough. But I was encouraged by the other patients there that I would feel like a new person afterwards. so I took the chance and I let him work on me and first thing he did was give me an adjustment and he totally fixed the vertigo totally 100%. He then proceeded to work on me my entire body and I must say oh I felt like I had a brand new body the next day. I had a problem with my neck for over 10 years that I could not turn my head to the right. I had pain 24 hours a day, I've been to many chiropractors and doctors. I want to truthfully say I can turn my head to the right and to the left I do not have pain anymore like I had 24 hours a day. I have a better life THANK YOU Dr Noori. read more

I went the joint in july 2023, they told me the charge would be $79 for 3 visits a onetime charge sale price. I only went once and decided the service was not for me. In November i noticed they charged my credit card an additional $267 / $89 for three extra months, Aug, Sept and October. I called to get the credit and they told me I must go to the location and sign a form to get the credit. When i arrived the front desk person told me he would only credit me 1 month. So i asked to speak with a manager. He went to the back and came back out and said a lady would be out to help me in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later no one came to help me. I asked the front desk person to check again and he came back and said the manager was training a new employee and she would be out in 5 minutes more. Finally, after more than 20 minutes waiting a manager "Octavia" came out and after debating with her about the overcharges she said she would credit only two of the 3 months over charged. What a scam. Where is the common sense. Its disgusting they charged me for service they never performed and scamed me for an extra month at $89. read more

Having never been exposed to this business model for chiropractic care, I didn't know what to expect but when a coworker recommended this to me I was in such discomfort I was willing to give it a shot and they accept walk-ins! When I arrived, I was greeted professionally by Julie at the front desk who shared some detail around the membership and the option of a single adjustment, which is what I thought I wanted so I was offered a seat in the nicely decorated and comfortable lobby. It was only a couple of minutes before it was my turn and Dr. Gary did not disappoint. This guy has some serious skills! I was so impressed I signed up as the cancellation policy leaves no risk and only reward. Today was the first visit where Dr, Gary wasn't there and I was skeptical but left beyond delighted as I had a new issue area. I didn't catch his name but was treated with a different and super effective style and have eagerly opted to stay enrolled in the program. The friendly informative and efficient Julie as the face of the business and the highly skilled chiropractic treatment I experienced without the hassle of appointments and insurance all combine to make this the ideal treatment plan for my schedule and my chronic back issues. I've been coming here for a few months now because I have chronic pain. When I decided to sign up for the membership it was NEVER revealed to me that you can only freeze your membership once per year. So after finding some relief for a bit I decided to pause it. Even upon pausing it was never mentioned that you can only pause once. So I paused it. Today I went in again and after my session I wanted to pause it again for the next cycle and the woman told me she couldn't do it because I already paused it once. I told her I was never told that and they should definitely tell people that upon sign up. She was rude about it. So I just cancelled my membership instead. read more

Very unhappy customer. Please don't remove my post again. I went in and bought the 4 for $49 deal. Every time I went I saw a different doctor. My problems were not addressed and they just treat everyone with the same adjustment. The 4 doctors that I saw were very young and in experienced. I did not like the open room area where everyone hears everyones complaints and you are given 5 minutes of treatment. Even after I told them I was still hurting, the comment was "NEXT" Shuffle them in and shuffle them out! I wasted my money. You get what you pay for and I have since found another Chiropractor with over 20 years of experience and the office has cash plans and private rooms and I see the same Doctor. and he actually adjusts me. This is an update to my last review: I've been coming back here for a few months now and it's actually pretty great. I've gotten to know the doctors a little bit with more visits and the convenience is great. I bought a six month plan and it's been working wonders. I drop in about once per week to get realigned and it makes me feel so much better. Stress, pain, tension gone. I'm in and out of there within 15 minutes on my lunch break. If you don't have major issues, and need a simple adjustment often, like a neck crack or a quick back adjustment frequently like I did for maintenance, this is the place to go! If you've had MAJOR surgery or car accident or anything major in the past, then I would not suggest this... Just because it could cause more damage if you're not careful... I would see a place under your insurance provider that has your medical history for that... I just sleep wrong and cannot get it right sometimes and need an adjustment in my neck and sometimes my lower back... And it was AWESOME! Unfortunately i moved out of state and we don't have one near by, I do miss this place... My neck misses it too! read more

This place is a scam. They had me sign up for a membership and prepay. If you choose to not continue your membership each month they don't honor the sessions you did already pay for. I had prepaid for two sessions and was just told they expired. Funny my money I paid didn't expire but my adjustment sessions apparently did. Now, many people may feel skeptical regarding chiropractic care at $49/month for 4 visits. After my experience of 2 months as a member, I can honestly say that it is absolutely the same/similar care of what you would find at a conventional clinic. I strongly recommend going in on Fridays to see Dr. Manuel. My co-worker and I call him "The Wizard". Go to him and ask for "The Magic". He gives extra special care where he works other areas outside of what most have experienced. For instance, he tests strengths within your legs, arms, and shoulders. After testing your strengths in these areas, Dr. Manuel does his "Magic" and enhances your strength in those problem areas. Dr. Manuel, especially, is the best Chiropractor in not just The Joint, but at any Chiropractor I have ever been to. read more
