Note that if you choose any of their Wellness Plans, YOU ARE ENROLLING IN A MONTH-TO-MONTH MEMBERSHIP. This is something they fail to explain to you at the moment of choosing a plan. They make it seem like they are giving you a deal, especially if it's your first time. Think of it like joining a gym, once you sign on the line, you are committing to a month-to-month membership at $69 PER MONTH.You just "joined" their month-to-month plan. They will automatically deduct this amount from your credit/debit card every month. The only way to cancel is to go to the place where you signed up and fill out a cancellation of membership form. But again, they are not clear and do not sell their Wellness Plans as a month-to-month membership. I doubt many people would sign up if they were verbally made aware that they would be paying for a recurring $69 per month membership. As far as the services, the chiropractor was very attentive and asked lots of questions. He spent about 45 minutes with me during my initial visit and genuinely seemed interested in helping. The actual service was well done and I did feel some relief and comfort afterwards, but since this was my first visit to any type of chiropractor, i don't have any previous experience to compare it to. You are going to have to decide if it's worth going. The services are great, but the pricing is deceptive. Their fixed packages start at $189, for 6 visits, but they don't sell you these, they make it seem as though the Wellness Plan being offered for first time visitors is a deal you are receiving. Again, the fact that it's a month-to-month automatic deductible membership is never uttered by anyone. Though the facts are all crammed in little tiny letters in their membership plan. Lesson learned. Take your time, read everything being given to you, and then decide if this is the route you want to go. Too bad. Good services, deceptive billing. read more

Nobody tells u when u buying a package and give them your debit card info that u simply wouldn't be able to cancel ! I called months later to cancel and front desk girl told me she can't cancel it when I asked her what I have to do to cancel it she said she has to give my info to a manager and he/she will call me back about my cancelation !! Well nobody got back to me - ever ! So to prevent my ATM card being charged next months again I had to cancel my card ! What a hassle ! Dr Cavanaugh at The Joint Orange is really the best. He is gentle, caring, and very thorough in his treatments. He asks questions and takes time to examine and finds out the root issues. He makes me and my family members feel welcomed and relaxed. We feel fantastic each time Dr. Cavanaugh adjusts us. He teaches us specific stretches that we can do at home for maintenance. The customer care lady, Houston, has the greatest smiles on her face. My children love seeing her when they enter the clinic each week. She went above and beyond in helping us solve a billing issue. They apparently don't take customers who have ever seen a chiropractor before because it is a "conflict of interest". What?? So if you've ever had a previous adjustment before and are either looking for a new chiropractor, moved, etc. they turn you away? Doesn't make sense and really inconvenient to be turned away when in pain. Maybe reconsider this and the way you speak to walk ins that you say are welcome on your site. read more

I usually go to the Seal Beach location, but decided to try this location because it was closer to where I was working this weekend. The office is clean, modern, and comfortable. The front office girl was very nice and she remembered me from the Seal Beach location. Dr. Cocks was very through and was able to adjust the areas giving me problems. I would definitely come see Dr. Cocks when I'm in the area again. read more

My daughter had visited this place before, and really felt better after her adjustments. She had told me about it. The past 2 weeks I had been having severe back pain and was hurting badly. I decided to call and they said you don't need appt, just walk in. I liked that I was going to be seen that same day I was uncomfortable completing all the forms but after meeting Dr. Cavanaugh and my adjustment, i walked out so much better and have been better since. Ambient sound of the waiting room is slightly uncomfortable as I could hear patient-doctor interactions. Wonderful experience yesterday! My regular chiropractor was closed for the Holiday weekend, and I had a slipped rib. Severe pain for several days, and finally decided to try The Joint for quick relief. Dr. Cavanaugh was very respectful of the fact that I had a regular chiropractor. My problem was quickly resolved with an adjustment. He was very knowledgeable and provided great education on self-care at home. No pressure to join their monthly payment plan, and a great deal for $29 initial visit. It is great to know that such an affordable and convenient option exists should the need arise again. Had the worst experience at this location with Dr. Fahim Soukhak. The receptionist explained to him that for some reason she could not find my chart in their system, he immediately snapped at me an said he could not treat me. I was told I needed to leave an come back another time. At the same time he was saying this his friends walked in to the back room where I was at an he simply turned around and started working on them. Completely ignored me an his receptionist as we were talking to him. I walked out to the lobby an the receptionist came after me extremely apologetic about the incident. I will not be back. I've been coming here for a few months now and I'd have to say it's been nothing but a great experience. I'm always warmly greeted as soon as I walk in, and only once had to wait five minutes to be seen. I've been adjusted by four different doctors at this location, and each one of them patiently answers all my questions and provide me with suggestions regarding my posture. This place is awful. This takes the proven health practice if chiropractic and turns it into a cattle call, as impersonal as a massage parlor. My regular chiropractor (in private practice) explained that he is a primary care physician and he is very professional, effective, knows my issues and how to adjust me properly. Being that they close at 2:00 pm, they refused to schedule me for a consolation because it would take a little longer than a normal visit. The worst service ever!! And they stole my money and never explain how they work. They charge in account I never authorized and I never check, I never knew they charged me in that account until 2 months later and I never went to my appt because I thought they didn't charge me and after that 2 months my husband checked that account and we saw the charges. I have been to The Joint in Brea and in Seal Beach. This is "The Joint" that I started my membership at. I work out of the country and it is not uncommon for me to leave the country for 30 days at a time. I called to see if there was anyway they could freeze my account while I was just recently gone on my latest business trip. They said no or that they didn't know for sure, so with that lack of help I told them that I just need to cancel my membership. I was then told that I had to come in to cancel a membership, I reminded them that this was not an option hence the fact that I was out of the country. With no alternate method of canceling suggested by their oh so helpful staff I went ahead and told my bank to no longer issue a payment to them. I was called today and not asked what the problem was but was told that they are sending my bill to collections, even though today was the day that payment would have came out. I don't understand how things go to collections within hours of not being paid..haha. I once again stated my position to the employee that had called me, she then told me that they can email cancellation forms...would of been nice to know awhile ago. I had to call the Brea location in order to get this handled and resolved, the manager at the Brea location had to come in and do the proper job that they could not do. I guess I just remember the days when you paid money for services rendered, not for incompetent employees. I like the Joint, but I DO NOT like the joint in Orange. Use the extra gas and drive to a different Joint (Brea is awesome). read more

I recently joined 2 months ago and haven't had any complaints with staff until today. I have been having increased neck pain, face numbness, shoulder pain and headaches. The last treatment I received did nothing to alleviate my symptoms. I decided I should suspend my contract until I have further work up on my neck prior to having any more manipulations. My charge for the month was just charged to my account today and I called today and asked for the suspension and explained my reasons to Gieselle and she proceeded to tell me that I have 4 visits to use until May and my contract would not be suspended until May. I advised that I am unable to use the services now because of the symptoms I am having now! She said they do not consider giving a refund is a Valid option! They have the option to suspend the contract but not give a refund when I called the same day my account was charged! I consider that to reflect VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've sent an e-mail to customer service for reconsideration, if I am unable to get a refund I will not continue to go to THE JOINT! Bottom line for them is MONEY! read more
