I've been to several locations and this one is by far my favorite. I am in the early stages of scoliosis and I have sciatica. Dr. Maddi really goes out of his way and takes his time with his clients. Everyone there is always super friendly and it's just a very welcoming environment. Since I started seeing him regularly my back has been in the best shape (literally). I was really upset when my husband went in (with a first time patient apt) and he had to wait two hours before the doctor even saw him. The doctor was very nice and enthusiastic about being able to help my husband. He even gave my husband a very reasonable price, but when my hubby responded with "I need to talk to my wife before I fork over that kind of money" (never once said no) the doctor immediately backed off and said " I cannot help you, you need to go to your doctor." So he may be a great doctor (we wont know) and he is affordable, but because of the 2 hour wait and the way he was dismissed he will not go back. If you're looking for a chiropractor who truly cares, Dr. Maddi is the one for you! I came with my mom for one of her appointments, and Dr. Maddi asked why I hadn't tried chiropractic care yet. Being in my 20's, I didn't think it was necessary. Until he pointed out my shoulders and hips were EXTREMELY uneven. (Something I noticed in the past, but not as badly until he pointed it out.) For him to have that knowledge and share it with me as a visitor and not (yet) a patient, I saw that this man cares! I have had mild scoliosis and chronic muscular issues in my back & neck since I was 11 years old and have seen quite a few chiropractors over the years. This has been a fantastic discovery. I had been to a chiropractor many times before. Unfortunately, when my insurance no longer covered it, I found I could not swing the 115 dollar visitors. This facility has been fantastic. The Dr is wonderful and it is so reasonable. As a teacher I am paying 59 dollars a month for 4 sessions. Additional sessions are on 10 dollars. My husband and I have been coming to The Joint for quite some time. We started out at the Eastvale location but never committed because it was too far of a drive. We were very excited when this location at The Plaza opened up. Dr Maddi has exceeded our expectations! It is nice to see that he actually cares about his patients and their wellbeing. He remembers patients names and what they told him previously. His memory is amazing! Some days we have a little bit of a longer wait, but that typically only happens when there is a lot of people. I visited the joint and was not sure what help I can get, especially been under medical care for over a year for Shoulder and neck pain. After meeting the doctor and consultation, I brought in my x rays and reports and few days after started my treatments, after the first session I was able to raise my arm with no pain and cut down on my pain medication. This place is so far the best I've been too. I really felt that I was getting an adjustment in all areas of my back since I've had issues with my back since I was 19 and with my recent fall that really did a number on me. I had to switch from one joint to another because I wanted to really feel that adjustment. Well with Dr. Maddi n Dr. Rojas I felt much better, immediately. I wish I could give this company as a whole less than 1 star, I make an appt and I was to my appoitment on time, they have 9 people ahead of me. The young girl on the front took my payment and told me; I was a walking, when clearly my name was on the schedule and she pointed it but I just didn't pay attention to small things. I guess the doctor was behind and was in a bad mood because I was hearing when he was complaint about me saying to refound me because He's not gonna see me and complaint about it, it was a really awkward situation because there was other patients and they were talking about me. I felt unwanted but I needed my back to be adjust, the manages was going back and foward talking with the doctor, at the end the manager came to me saying they can't see me and they gonna refund me. I asked her; why they didn't call ahead of time to let me know, that they were unprofessional in many ways. Guess what the doctor got more upset, stared screaming and say something about to call the main corporation and walk out of the office. My husband and I love Dr. Maddi! He is personable and truly cares about his patients and their health and safety. We love his heart to help and serve Veterans, military and those that serve our community. Most of his patients (including) me will only get adjusted by him-none of the "fill ins" compare. I have literally seen people walk out of the office when they find out he isn't working. I have been going to him for over two years now and started when I was 6 weeks pregnant with my daughter. The last straw is when he was openly rude to me. Even though I still had sessions left I decided that I wouldn't go back. I'm sorry but this place is a joke. I waited 30 mins pst my appointment time then he took me to the back along with another patient who came in AFTER me and decided to adjust him first. He did an "exam" on me and I told him my chiropractic history as I recently moved to riverside. He changed his story first saying it wasn't my lower back then telling me later that it was. He showed me 1 stretch and wanted to refer me to get X-rays which I told him I didn't want to do as I already know what I need with my history. He identified the issue but had no resolution and didn't even adjust me. He told me I had a high tolerance for pain and other people would have been screaming if they were experiencing what I was experiencing...oh yea? So why didn't you help me? He was very distracted when I was there, went to his receptionist multiple times, looking up other clients files, etc. He was also trying to get me to recruit people to his office by asking if I know any veterans so he could give them a $300 gift card, all BEFORE even asking why I was there. Bottom line, he didn't do anything and talked A LOT! My appointment was at 4:30, I didn't leave until 5:30....still with pain and no adjustment. He tried to pull some BS to tell me to ice my back and stretch it and I can come back Friday if it isn't resolved and he'll give me a month for free. This guy is a scam artist. No thank you. I've been here several times & will continue to go, but if & when finances get better I may try another chiro or a different location unless they decide to hire more help for the dr. He is overworked! He deserves to be appreciated & to be valued by his employer. My FIRST visit was positive overall, but inconvenient & a little irritating. After I filled out all the paperwork, I believe I waited 45 minutes to be seen (I've waited hours at other places.) I was finally able to go back to see the dr, but he made me wait. About 5 other people who arrived after me (I arrived at 11:00 when they opened) were seen first while I watched & waited. (Assuming because I was new that he wanted to spend time on me so he got some people out of the way to do so.) The Dr is chatty, friendly, and makes it a point to remember your name. Once seen, we discussed my health history, which surprisingly he read through ALL of it! Never have I seen any dr, except for a naturopath, actually READ the papers! Amazing! I explained that I had a bad injury about a year before & other back injuries. I expected to get an adjustment & be out. Nope. He took the time to evaluate my posture, point out what was wrong & referred me to get X-rays JUST IN CASE something severe was going on. (I was thankful for this.) At this point he discussed the cost & payment plans available. This was probably the wrong time to bring that up & charge me when he hadn't really done anything. BUT, I had a feeling I would need to return several times, so I signed up on a plan, trusting his judgment. The inconvenient part was I had to drive across town to get the X-rays done. They have NO equipment in office! Just computers, an aromatherapy diffuser, and a noisy but effective, hand-held gadget for after the adjustment. It doesn't bother me that the healing methods are simple because they work! Thankfully the xray place wasn't busy. I was seen rather quickly and had my results immediately. They were also polite & friendly. I drove back to the chiro & waited again. I watched many, many people who came in after me, be seen ahead of me. I waited about 60-75 minutes. I was a new patient & needed my xrays looked at do I had to wait. (I would rather wait a little bit instead of being rushed, but due to medical issues, it was too long for me.) When I was finally seen, we discovered that the suggested X-rays were a very wise decision! I had definite problems & found out that my previous chiro was making my back worse. At this point I found out that military & first responders are given priority regardless of appointment. (Ok. I understand, but what about disabled? I have a condition where I can't be out long periods of time. But, If you have an issue, just bring it up. You will be listened to. I didn't speak up because I'm not used to being cared about or listened to. The adjustment was great. The dr is gentle but effective with little pain afterward. I was worried because I'm used to receiving therapy first because I'm hard to adjust & will have serious pain. Not this time or any time after. He is very gentle & knows what your back can handle. He's a very gifted chiro! I even received an email later that night with recommended exercises & stretches to help my condition! I was pleasantly surprised that I was remembered & cared about. No Dr ever cared this much about me before. My other visits were good. My back does not hurt all night anymore & the pain is light & intermittent. The Dr remembered my name on each visit, was always friendly, & has done a great job. The receptionist & office manager are polite & friendly, too. The office is always clean & neat as well as the restroom. The adjustment tables are cleaned well after every patient. However, they do need another chiro! One is not enough. The dr never gets a break & is forced to work long hours & even work when he is injured himself. They need an xray machine & could use an MT. (Massage Envy is next door, but I don't trust them!) They could also keep appointments, take people in the order that they come in (unless emergencies arise- understandably) & arrive on time. This is nothing against the dr or the staff. The dr is just overworked. I like them all here & they do their best. BUT, the owners need to step up and hire more help before your dr breaks. He looks stressed to the max like he's going to explode. But, he still does his job happily without complaint. Even through his pain he still smiles. Update: This is my 2nd month & so far so good. The care is good, friendly, & affordable. I wanted to update this because I feel that parts of my review were misunderstood. I also meant to give 4 stars instead of 3. (5 stars for the staff & patient care, 2.5 for the owners.) The fact that they have very little equipment is not a bad thing. I have been to Chiros who had mass amounts of fancy equipment but their knowledge & techniques were lacking. read more

I came to the Joint because I saw their $29 deal. I went in for a scheduled appointment at 5:00 and wasn't taken back until 5:35. They did a general consultation, but made no adjustments. The chiropractor wanted me to get X rays first before any adjustments were made, which would cost me an additional $75-$80 to what seemed a simple and cost effective visit. They don't do X rays on site so they'll refer you to nearby clinics. I did sign up for their 6 sessions for $180ish on my way out because I wanted adjustments since I had some pain in my upper back. Be cautious because once you buy a plan, you can't get a refund because it's stated in their policy (something I didn't know). They told me, however, that the visits never expire. Bottom line: don't buy any package right away! Go home and think about it or see other places that might have a better plan for you! read more

He has assured me that issue I had my first visit has been corrected. I have visited his office several times after with no issues. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Majdi Dayyeh is a good, sincere human being first of all. That carries over and shows in his practice. I've been a patient for several months now, and I have definitely noticed that my weekly adjustments have helped me improve my posture considerably. I feel like I stand taller now, particularly after an adjustment. I mainly signed up for preventative maintenance adjustments that I would normally get once a month or so before. Here I get 4 a month for the same price, and I can feel the difference the weekly adjustments make. If your car is out of alignment you need to get it adjusted as soon as possible to limit the amount of damage it does to your tires, etc. If your back is out of alignment, waiting until your monthly visit, or several months just wont cut it. Preventative maintenance is the key to health, and their walk in business model makes that quick, easy, and convenient to do. Thank you Dr. Majdi for all that you do. read more

Talk about a waste of time.!! My Wife's Lower back went out because she twisted the wrong way and popped out her L5 so I took her in here and after the "Chiropractor" confirmed that it was in fact her L5, he said he can't do anything for her and to go home and put ice on it. We got mad and Left. I called up The Chiropractic Wellness Center in Canyon Crest and they saw my wife the next day and adjusted her back, just like she needed and she is fine now. I don't even think that The Joint knows how to do adjustments properly. I kept hearing a machine when they took people back to their treatment room. read more

False advertisement for sure! They advertise being a walk-in clinic as quoted from their website "And remember, you never need an appointment to visit The Joint so stop in when it is convenient for you." Well, I did just that at 5pm on a Thursday evening and was literally turned away after waiting 5 minutes just for the front desk receptionist to even come up to the front counter. Apparently, even though they are a "walk in" facility, you still need to make an appointment to "guarantee you'll see the dr. that day". Unfortunately, my current profession has me working around 12 or more hours per day so keeping an appointment right now is just not something I can guarantee I'll be able to make. Seeing as how this was advertised as being walk-in friendly, I wanted to give it a try. They book so many appointments that they only take walk-ins when they don't have appointments. Well, 1) if you're going to advertise as a walk-in friendly place but you still want to take appointments, you need to build in some free time blocks to accommodate what you advertise for walk-ins and 2) there should always be a front desk receptionist attending the front desk not getting coffee or whatever she was doing outside of the facility. She literally came in from being outside with a friend and never acknowledged a single person in the waiting room. It's unfortunate I have to give at least 1 star as the only positive I have about the place right now is that the front waiting area looked clean. read more

I have suffered from migraines for over 25 years with no relief with excruciating pain that immobilizes me completely until, Dr. Maddi, who has been able to completely eliminate the pain even on the day I have a migraine. I have neck and lower back issues. I went to Dr. Maddi for my first adjustment last Thursday and Friday morning, was the first time for as long as I remember that my lower back was NOT sore and stiff. I actually got out of bed like a normal person and did not have to roll over to slide out because my back hurt. My entire day was like that, noticing things felt better. I could look up to the sky and my neck went back farther and didn't feel swollen. I could turn my head left and right farther than I have in the past and so far I haven't had any migraine headaches since I started my journey.
