The staff here are very kind and professional. I do like the quality of the doctors here. They actually take time to talk to you and find out the precise methods vs making you just lay down and go through the basic adjustment routines. Dr. Ahmed was my go-to doctor here so I would highly recommend asking for him. Oh and I do love how they post their weekly schedule of doctors, which no other location does so it's extremely convenient to see which doctors are working each day. I've only had one doctor at this location that was extremely horrible. Didn't say a word to me and just notioned with his hands to lie down, turn-over etc. I was out in like 20 secs. I do know his name but I don't see the need to state it here. I did go back the next day to get readjusted because he tweaked something in my neck really bad. Another con for this location would be that it's always super busy so I would get turned away every other time I visit this location. I actually canceled my membership because I was just wasting my money, time and drive when I couldn't even use up my allotted amount of visits within each month so it became a total waste. I recently reactivated my membership but I solely only visit other locations now. I was in the area of this location this past weekend so I thought I would give this location another chance and no surprise I was turned away because they were too busy. That just rejustified why I don't come to this location. Overall I would recommend The Joint for quick basic adjustments but just not this specific location because I don't want to waste my friends/family's time and have them get turned away. read more

Location: in a busy plaza (on the side closest to Starbucks). Parking: Depending on the time, parking can be difficult but most of the time it's easy and quick to find parking. Overall, I chose The Joint Chiropractic because of the ease and the $29 initial visit. I love that there are multiple locations and it's usually a quick and easy adjustment which works perfect with my schedule (since my schedule is all over the place). Everyone is very friendly and I feel like my back always feels relief right after my adjustment. Dr. Patrick is very good about answering all questions and concerns I have about my back and how to better fix my issues. Dr. Andy did an amazing adjustment on me and I felt so much better and loose after being tense all day. Definitely appreciate the adjustment and the methods he used! For the price, I think it's worth it. I also think that if you are unhappy with the treatment from one doctor it's nice that there are 3 other chiropractors here that you can try. read more

So I just cancelled my account yesterday. Here are the pros and cons of a chain chiropractor. Pro: You dont need to set appointments, you have multiple doctors you can choose from, open mon-sat, low cost (ish), great for weekly/monthly tune ups. Cons: No appointments mean you can come and have to wait a while if there are a lot of people, having multiple doctors means you wont have one that will know your body best, you don't get a full on adjustment like you would at a private chiropractor office. The reason I left was because in the 1.5-2 years that I was there, they switched out more than 10 doctors. I had to test out in the beginning which doctor I liked and finally found the one that worked for me. A couple months later, he's gone and a new one is in. She was okay but wasnt the same as the one that was working on me for months. Then when she started getting me, she is gone and another new one is in. In the last few months, one of the doctor that helped me weren't very helpful, the other one was better but nothing like when i started. At that point, it felt like I was paying for someone to crack my back. Side note, if you expect to be there for more than 5 min, you are in the wrong place. They adjust you really quick and you are out. So it is very good if you are in a rush, but for real adjustments, not so much. As for employees and doctors, they are all great people and have great customer service. read more

The Joint is open! Its great knowing I can come for an adjustment even during the pandemic. All the staff wears face masks and there are hand sanitizers throughout the office space which is nice. As usual I had some tightness in my back and shoulders but after a quick adjustment I feel so much better. The staff is easy going and informative, I learned that a chiropractic adjustment can relieve pain from a pinched nerve, so next time I will just come for an adjustment instead of bearing the pain and discomfort for a few days. read more

Definitely come here if you are new to chiropracting. The environment was calm, friendly, clean, and sooo helpful. The doctor that I got was Dr. Ahmed and he is simply the best. Wish they had a way to join the queue online wait times are always absurd. Front desk tells you 15-20 mins but come on be realistic with your wait times are not accurate I tend to wait about 30-40 minutes. Two doctors should be available at all times and maybe schedule new patients on non-peak hours. read more

Great clinicians at this location - I've personally tried all of them Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Roger and Dr. Marco are all wonderful and have helped me with my pain/soreness through their skilled adjustments. Needed to see a chiropractor ASAP. Called the Glendale location and they referred me to the Pasadena location because it's closer. The place was VERY clean when I walked in and the gal at the front desk was very professional and very polite. After filling out all of my paperwork I then was greeted by Doctors Vincent Manfre. I thought he was very knowledgeable and gave me a very thorough examination based on my medical history. My first time here today and first time doing chiropractic was amazing. Steve was a tremendous help, very welcoming staff as I step foot in the door. Dr.Roger who I was assigned was professional, knowledgeable, and skilled as he did an assessment of my spine and was wonderful throughout the process. What an amazing experience! You see, I'm new to chiropractic treatment. I found The Joint after a search on through google. I stumbled in intimidated, confused, maybe even a little nervous. Well... almost immediately after crossing the threshold, I was put at ease. A bustling place, filled with people of all shapes and sizes waiting in the lobby. Clean, maintained are the first words that come to my mind. Through the sounds of voices and phone rings was the very sweet person behind the desk who greeted me as I wondered in, Lisa. I explained that it was a first for me, I'm unaware how this all works but I need help as my spine is tight and aches due to living and life. She was gracious with her time, and juggled not only myself but other guests with ease, walked me through the application process and even handed me a water while I waited. What a gem. As I waited no more than 20 minutes for the doctor, he called for me. To my surprise, another sweet, charismatic person and the procedure are yet again, clean and maintained. Now, I'm not someone who likes being tinkered with. Please don't touch me, but I felt at ease with him. He educated me on the Why's of chiropractic treatment and put my mind at ease. This is my favorite location. My favorite doctors are Dr. William and Dr. Andy. Dr. William really does a great job and relieves all the tension in my jaw, neck, shoulders and hips every visit. He can also work on your wrist if you've been on the computer or writing all day. Doctor William is so nice and always remembers my face. He also sincerely asks about how I'm feeling. LOL even Allen's comment is defensive. Just as defensive as the comment he left on the other 1 star review below. Allen can say all he wants that he isn't defensive and that he just wants to remedy the situation, but he's relaying his messages in a way that tries to say that his business isn't to blame for anything. He's using the tactic of pushing the blame onto the client so that his establishment looks like it's not at fault. He may have pushed the other 1 star reviewer to update and give him a better review, but I stand by my review 100% I double and triple checked with my brother after reading Allen's messages thinking that maybe I did remember wrong, and Dr Lottie did only ask me to come back once. But even my brother remembered Dr Lottie asking me to come back twice/week. Since we were both seen together, maybe Dr Lottie forgot and put the same amount into both of our files? It's a possibility, but Allen insists that his facility did no wrong because they're afraid to admit that they may be wrong. Why so defensive Allen? In every message you've sent so far. You continue to try and defend your facility and your staff. The fact is, I didn't have a great experience and not everyone is going to. Accept that fact. Everyone knows that if an establishment invites you back, especially if it's a complimentary visit, the business is going to ensure that nothing goes wrong during that visit because they're hoping to have the bad review removed. I'm not about that life, if I want to try your services again one day to see if you're really about what you claim to be, then I will, but on my own time without your knowledge. And a new update will be added to portray the new visit. I've given other establishments a second chance before but I will not, and never will, allow a complimentary visit to screw with my judgment of an establishment because that is not fair to Yelp or the Yelpers who read my reviews. P.S. He sent links to our private direct messages; someone please enlighten me on this. If it was a private conversation, is he allowed to post them without my knowledge or consent? Does that not breach some sort of privacy law/code? I have nothing to hide, I just feel like he should have at least gotten my consent before he sent direct links to our conversation. Especially since The Joint is considered a health care facility, aren't there certain HIPAA regulations on being able to relay info between provider and patient? Do we not have privacy laws in the state of CA? I remember coming here last year for some adjustment and it was alright. This place has a lot of perks that makes it super convienent and affordable for those who needed constant adjustments and the rate are pretty competitive. They also have membership that works on any of The Joints establishments. As far as sessions go it's pretty standard, you go in, you tell them what's bothering you, they assess and "crack" your body, ask you how you feeling and tell you to come back every once in a while until you feel better. I don't remember them doing anything super unique or special compared to other chiros. They don't have X ray machines either so if you needed a more comprehensive assessment you are not gonna get it here. Overall if you need adjustment often then this is the place for you. read more

Terrifying, avoid! I've seen a chiropractor for years, so I'm very comfortable with adjustments. But on my first visit with Dr. Patrick, he jerked my neck suddenly and without warning. It felt wrong immediately, instead of "popping" it felt like an incredibly sharp tug. When I woke up the next morning, I literally could not move without crying. My entire back was locked up, I could barely get out of bed. I called Dr. Patrick and he suggested I "drink more water," as if this level of pain is normal for adjustments. After days of being immobilized and struggling to breathe, I finally checked myself into the ER where I was diagnosed with a significant neck sprain. It took a week of recovery to be able to leave the house. The most frustrating thing is Dr. Patrick never apologized or admitted he made a mistake. No office manager ever reached out to assist with my recovery or medical expenses. And I'm locked into paying for this plan for 2 months minimum, even though I'm terrified to return for care. I love chiropractic work, but this is a good reminder that you should always go with a chiropractor you trust -- my experience at the Joint is there is no standard of care and you truly do not know what you're going to get. read more

I've been wanting to go to a chiropractor for a few years now and I'm so glad I came here! After my intial visit, I signed up for their monthly plan (I believe its 4 visits a month for around $80). It's been almost a month since I started and I love coming here. I stop by once a week for an adjustment and I always leaving in a great mood. The staff here is so friendly. They always greet you with a smile and are very welcoming. They are happy to answer questions at any time. I typically go to Dr. William. I'm sure the other doctors are great. I've heard great things about them all but I am just more comfortable staying with a doctor who already knows my back and what I need. I definitely see a difference in the way I walk and stand. I've been getting chiropractic care at the Rosemead location for a few years now. I love that I can come in any day of the week and know that I'm always going to get 5 star treatment. Check out their plans because they have the best deals for chiro care! It's a walk in clinic so you don't need an appointment which was awesome when you need an adjustment ASAP. All the doctors I've seen there have given me their undivided attention and have changed my over all health immensely for the better! Lately I have been getting adjusted by Dr. William & Dr. Patrick.
