Graston is a procedure of very deep soft tissue work. I had a long-planned vacation about 10 weeks out and was desperate to be ready for a lot of planned hiking. On my first appointment I could not walk down the street without significant pain and discomfort. Plantar fasciitis often takes months to get rid of, so I was prepared to make multiple visits. I was a bit skeptical regarding whether the Graston procedure would help me, but I was desperate to get ready for vacation. At my first visit with Dr Banks, he said they see lots of people with plantar fasciitis and have a very good success rate, so I was cautiously optimistic. I did a series of eight visits which consisted of the Graston technique followed up by a Laser treatment of the foot. I started to feel progress was being made and continued with eight more visits.
