The Joint, Pinole Valley Road. I have seen 3 different doctors in my visits. They seem to closed on Thursday, or do not have a doctor available. I prepaid for 20 visits, still in pain, hopefully things will get better. So far, l'm not impressed! After I wrote the 1st review, Dr. Limon called me! He had me come in for another evaluation. Best place to go to If you are in need of a chiropractor on a weekend. NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY and you can be seen right there and then. Not a long wait at all. The place is very modern and chic. This place in Pinole just opened about a month ago. The price is not bad at all and it's pretty cheap. I pay $15 co-pay per visit (with my insurance) but with someone with no chiropractic coverage, I say it's pretty much the same with their no contract Wellness plan for $59.00 (4 visit per month) $19 per additional visit. I actually signed up in North Carolina and had a great experience there. Then found this location close to my home in CA. This fits my schedule so well, I pop in, get an adjustment, then I'm on my way. The Dr. is fantastic, his staff takes good care of you. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a minute to be seen by the Doctor. Just a wonderful overall expereience. If you use Chiropractic services they keep you tuned up with these weekley "affordable" visits. I used the 6-month program for $49/month and get 4 visis per month, and if I need another it is only $12.50 how can you beat that? read more

I've been coming here for a while now under the impression that the prices for the services will be affordable. Instead, I was totally misinformed that the exam and first alignment will be $29 because of an online promotion and the first few sessions will be $69. Anything after that will be $10 for the alignments. Those were the exact words the receptionist told me as she was guiding me to sign papers for payments. And I thought this was too good to be true because I am a college student so this would be something that I can afford in taking care of myself. After going to these sessions a few times, I would ask how many sessions I have left before I would start to see payments of ten dollars per visit. Since I can't see them in a regular basis as the chiropractor recommended, I wanted to keep track of how often I see them to keep track of my finances. So, the chiropractor that I saw the day the I asked about the number of session left told me that I had told me that four left before paying $10 per session. But this past Wednesday, I noticed a charge of $69 on my credit card and all it said was "Pinole 3195". When I looked it up, it didn't show up as the chiropractor office. How I found out was that I went to the bank and found out that this was a scam profile and that they have been charging me $69 every month for the past NINE months. I was so disappointed. I went to the chiropractor office and asked them about these charges and the receptionist said, "Oh, no, these are MONTHLY charges of $69. THEN it's $10 after the first four sessions of the month." Of course I explained to her that I can't afford $69 a month for services that I didn't use because I would be at school (at SFSU). I asked her if I can be refunded for the months that I didn't come in for their services because I don't have "free money" to hand out for services I didn't use. And she replies, "Well, I can't only refund you for this month because the system won't let me see anything more." I said, "Are you kidding me? You don't have records of when I came in?!" The receptionist exclaims, "Please don't be mad at me! But you can talk to Dr. Limon for the refunds but I don't think he will give them to you." I told her, "How can you guys take money from me for services I couldn't use!" I struggled to make ends meet because the receptionist didn't tell me that the $69 will be a monthly subscription. I am beyond "mad" at them. I am disappointed in these people taking advantage of their customers by not clearly informing them what the payments would be. I would have never agreed to forking up $69 a month for something I can't afford because this is my gas, bridge toll, other school related payments and food. In the end, the receptionist said, "If you don't use it, you lose it." read more

Absolutely Fantastic! My wife and I came in for the special back in May and have been on the Wellness plan ever since. Dr. Limon is fantastic and very strong. I am a big guy (300+) and he has no problems with my adjustments. I went to another chiropractor in the area earlier this year for treatment and was very disappointed with the service I received. This has not been an issue at The Joint. Stop reading the reviews and go to The Joint. It's totally worth it! I went to The Joint in Pinole today for an adjustment. I hadn't been in serveral months, in part because I haven't taken the time to go and in part because the last three times I went, a doctor wasn't available, and I was instructed to return. This was irritating me because I bought a package of 20 visits and thought I wasn't going to be able to redeem them all. That's why I gave it 3 stars; I will update it if the availability of service improves. I've had Dr. Limon a few times and I really like him. He takes the time to listen to your needs and explains what he is going to do, so no surprises. I always felt better after seeing him. I've had one practitioner, Matt (I don't remember his last name), twice who left me feeling worse. I had a headache and I didn't feel right. If I saw he was there, then I didn't get the adjustment. Today, I had a new practitioner, Scott Corvin (unsure of spelling). I like him as much as I like Dr. Limon, if not more. Very knowledgeable, and explains what he's doing before he does it. I also like that he has experience as a nurse and a nurse practitioner. I definitely felt better after he adjusted my neck and spine. I definitely will be returning to Scott, and I won't wait as long until my next adjustment! read more

I like the model of this place and that you don't have to make appointments. I never wait more than 5 minutes to get adjusted. I love Dr. Limon, he is always great. They recently got a new chiropractor to come in on Mondays-Thursday's and I also don't like him like some other reviewers have mentioned. Someone else said they didn't like his adjustment style, but I actually never had a problem with it. My problem is more with his personality and attitude. He's said some things to me that rubbed me the wrong way and made me feel uncomfortable. Once he asked if I was looking forward to Christmas and I said I don't celebrate it, I do Hanukkah. He replied, "that's too bad, you're missing out"... so much for acceptance with diversity... Another time he asked me if I went Black Friday shopping and I said no. He said "really?! all you women love to shop though, right?" Not cool bro. These microagressions do not make me feel accepted and comfortable there with him, so I am avoiding this guy and only going on Friday or Saturday for Dr. Limon. read more

I've been to the Berkeley location many times and I live closer to here now, so I thought I'd come in. Was experiencing the kind of intense back pain where I had to move quite slowly. Dr. Corbin worked on me, and to be honest he rubbed me the wrong way from the get go. There was nothing friendly or warm about him, and I felt rushed. The worst part was that when he asked me to lower my legs, and he already knew I was in pain, he was rushing me to speed up. Get some bedside manner. Never again. I had an appointment at 10:30 am this morning. I left because I was never waited on! The receptionist had the nerve to tell me at 10:50, I'd have to wait another 5 minutes! I was in excruciating pain, I could not sit or stand for too long. What is the point of making an appointment if it's not going to be honored?? These people are inconsiderate and rude! Updates review: Went in after throwing out my back during a workout. The doctor was good at experience explaining what was wrong and a good way forward for my treatment. A couple days later and I feel noticeably better though I will probably need more adjustments to fix how much damage I did to myself. After initial visit, there was an issue with costs being explained. After posting my review, the owner actually called me directly, apologized and made it right. This is hands down the best chiropractic office I have ever visited. Bandana, the office manager greets you with a smile every time and will remember your name. When I didn't come for a couple of weeks she noticed and said it was great to see me again. All of the doctors are great at what they do. The model is really efficient too. It's all walk in - no appointments. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes but usually only about 5. Each adjustment is about 3-5 minutes and is done in an open room where all the other patients are waiting. It's nice when your a new comer so you can see how things work. When I come in, all of the doctors know me by name. Even though it's a high volume of patients they are very personable. It's also very affordable! It's $69 per month - no insurance needed. I am able to use my pre tax fsa funds for it. And your membership will allow you to visit any location of the joint nationwide. When I visited my brother in DC, I was able to take the short metro ride over to Virginia and have my back adjusted there. It was amazing to be able to do that after at no additional cost after the almost 6 hour place flight. This is a great route to go if you're looking for Chiropractic care. I have been seeing Dr. Limon for the last year. He is an absolute miracle worker. A seasoned professional who truly knows body mechanics. I have trouble with several areas, but am especially guarded with my knees. X-rays show I am very close to being bone on bone. I have just lived with bad knees since I was 17. My knees were at their worst this season. Dr. Limon has been working on my knees for almost 2 months now, and for the first time in my life I am hopeful. I can't say enough about this man.
