Rio coffee by RioZonas Açaí is an addition to the açaí cafe serving coffee and pastries. Muffins, pound cakes etc.. I ordered a cold brew and my husband got the drip coffee. He liked his coffee but the cold brew was a bit too watery for me. I couldn't taste the coffee much. I would love to come back and try their açaí bowls since that's what they are known for. We are locals to this place, and they have always done a great job of a welcoming environment. I love how they added the buffet on the weekend as well as the coffee shop. I had found that they had many açai bowls, which was really pleasing to my wallet açaí can be very pricey. It was wonderful to go on most Sundays and indulge in a mini açai bowl. Unfortunately, they relinquished the mini bowl now I'm stuck playing the high price for a bowl that has the same amount as the mini bowl considering there are many acai places around the neighborhood now I may have to explore other options. All the workers seem to be happy there and it makes the energy seem more chill and matches the fun store. Cons: This has been my go-to açaí place - honestly - since they opened, and I understand that everything has gotten more expensive, but they are a little steep now, charging $1.15-2.25 per topping which is just for a couple of chocolate chips on top. Prices have gotten wayyy too high!! Price Increase, Amount in bowl Decrease. I will admit, this place has great açaí because their açaí is like a gelato or something, not like most places where it can be runny or watery, BUT unfortunately the prices have increased too much for it to be worth it. I have a receipt which I am posting from earlier in 2024 and in less than one year the price has gone from $10.50 to $11 to now $13 for the small bowl. That's a crazy price jump within a few months!.. and to make it worse, the amount you get in the bowl is less. I wish I had a pic to show my last bowl that legit had TWO strawberries in it that had been sliced into a billion pieces to make it look like a lot. Nah buddy, can't fool me or my man, that was two strawberries and maybe half a banana. Not worth $13. I wish this business well, but I strongly suggest you start serving a full bowl for that cost. read more

I drive by and made a U turn on a whim. I hadn't had a good empanada in a while since my bff moved to Vegas as she's a chef. I saw they were a small cafe that also had bowls so I took a chance. Upon parking I see signage for an empanada, how could I pass it up and I figure if they're sold out I'll just grab a fruit smoothie bowl. The inside was nice just make sure you go through the correct door. Nice displays and still had the Vday decor up. The employees were engaged mostly in each other's conversations and that wasn't the most welcoming.. especially it being my first time here. Team comradeship is great but not at the expense of a costumers sense of belonging.. that could def improve. Also maybe I could've looked around for pricing better or longer but since there were only 4 left I figured I'd request all the remaining empanadas and before I knew it I was spending $20! I was shocked but not too disappointed in the taste of the food.. though I feel the heating / warming display they're in dries them out a little. Upon opening the to-go box , they weren't nicely packaged and I would've liked the option to not have plastic touching my food. Especially the containers filled and most likely places on countertops which could lead to cross contamination.. Over all I may return to this establishment. We ordered beef and chicken empanadas. The chicken empanadas in the display case were noticeably cooked too long. I asked the cashier if I can have the lighter empanadas and he said he would try. I guess he didn't try too hard because they gave us the over cooked empanadas. Not wanting to make a fuss I went ahead and accepted the order. As expected the empanadas were dry and crunchy. So disappointed especially since I tried to avoid having a bad experience. My husband ordered a build your own juice and he liked it.
