So I used to avoid this place because I remember thinking the coffee flavor profile was bitter, but if you feel like me, you need to try it again!!! I've gone a couple times recently and the flavor has been great!! I usually keep it simple with a flavored iced latte. They have a whole list of vegan options, which was helpful. I like going with banana. You will likely be waiting for a bit, but they make the line move fast. There is a seating area hidden in the back that is fun and it's an interesting spot in terms of decor! Worth checking out.
This spot had become a daily stop while I've been out here for work! They have an amazing blueberry cold brew that I highly recommend. I also absolutely love their parfait! It's very unique and makes a perfect breakfast. Over the visits I've also tried a handful of their sandwiches from The Bread Lounge, all thus far have been a win as is their blueberry muffin and spinach pastry. There are a few workers who just have such a great energy to them no matter the day and that really brightens one's whole mood! As a whole this spot is amazing and I understand why they always have a line. I look forward to being back when I am in the area.

Definitely tasted like a Banana Split in a drink. Service was great , the staff were friendly and welcoming. Drinks were made fast. No complaints. Ambiance gives a very cozy coffee spot vibe. It's nicely decorated with trinkets and makes you feel like you're stepping into someone's home. Pair that with a good drink and you have yourself a wholesome inviting coffee shop. Overall , would love to come back again! I'm surprised I haven't been here more.

Small but very cute store--no seating inside, but there were tables on the sidewalk and they were almost all full. While I was waiting in line, the decorations and little nooks kept my eyes busy; I was just looking around. Such a cute store. There were plenty of staff, and everyone was helping customers very quickly. Even with the long lines, they remembered customers' orders well. I ordered the Muddy matcha latte. I loved it--very refreshing and not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. Definitely, this place will be one of my favorite spots.

They have THEEE MOST coffee options I have ever seen, and you can pretty much get any cold foam flavor you want because they make it fresh for every drink. They even have VEGAN OPTIONS ! The inside is very small but they have a front patio that is chill and a Hidden back patio that "feels like a private club" ! Also equipped with holiday-themed decor that switches every season. The owners are really cool too and they provide amazing service all the way around.
One of my new go to coffee shops in the mornings. Located on Burbank Blvd, there is street parking available, but sometimes you have to park in the residential area. Absolutely love their decorations and the merchandise they carry. Just bought Valentine's Day mug! The menu is unique and they offer quite a variety. I usually get the matcha latte but recently have tried the Valentine's Day menu items. You can change milk options and sweetness options. Service is great and staff is always friendly. They also have a stamp card which gives you a free drink on the 10th visit.
Black Friday shopping is not complete without coffee. Being a chill morning, my husband asked to find a local coffee shop and I agreed. The Ugly Mug came up and we decided this is where we're headed. I was not expecting such a cute exterior. Inside is very kitschy, with decor from A Christmas Story, an old big boxed TV playing The Parent Trap. It's small inside, with just room to order. All their seating is outside. Even though it's cold, we opted to sit outside and enjoy the coffees and music. Inside, we were greeted so warmly and service was great. They have a ton of options for coffee. They have a whole horchata latte menu and a banana latte menu in addition to their regular menu. They also have milk and/or sugar free alternatives too. We ordered the white chocolate banana latte with oat milk and the vanilla nut (hazelnut) latte with oat milk. The coffee is a little sweet, but I think as the ice melts, it'll be perfect. If we're back in the area, we'll be back to visit! Oh! Park on a side street and walk over! There's parking in the front, but parking is dependent on your trust in others driving by and not hitting your car!
It's a bit hard to find a peppermint mocha that's so flavorful but this was so good! It's pouring so I went outside to their back patio and it was so nice and cozy! They have holiday music playing and a little heater so that was really nice, thank you for that. The staff (owner?) that came through was really nice and I appreciate it. I tried not to overdo my stay but i definitely would have stayed there longer. I got a croissant on my way out and it was alright! Their other pastries looked good as well. Will be back to try everything else!

The baristas was very sweet and recommended my drink. She was right it was delicious! Went out back to have a seat and enjoy my breakfast. They have such a cute jail themed back area with plenty of seating. Come and check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Probably one of the best coffee's I've had in a while... I absolutely loved the vibes here. They had super cute decor and figurines (lots of Toy Story and Pixar which I'm a huge fan of). The girls working at the cashier were friendly and nice! There was a good selection of pastures and grab & go sandwiches as well as snacks. Cute merch too! Very cute coffee shop! They have cute mugs and decor. The menu is pretty big for beverages and they offer different milk options which is nice. I ordered a vanilla nut iced latte with regular milk. It wasn't too nutty but it was very sweet and the coffee had a little bit of a burnt aftertaste. I also ordered a ham and cheese croissant which was huge ! This place is such a cute local spot that would be hard to miss, unless you were looking for it- and honestly, that's the best part about it. They have a vast selection of items to choose from and several menus all around. I advise expecting to spend some time in the order area- because service is not quick. Howeverr, when it's your turn, they will see you through start to finish, so it makes sense. They have many vegan options. The only reason I docked a star was for cleanliness (its a bit dusty) & there were 2 flies in the pastry case, from which they grab their pastries. Prices are reasonable, too, which is a refreshing change. I have a vanilla banana latte with almond milk and it was delicious. Will absolutely return to try something new. read more

Such a cute establishment and their drinks were just as good. I appreciate their vegan menu that offers a variety of flavors. Ordered the pistachio latte and it was delicious. Their back outdoor patio was relaxing and provided the perfect coziness to catch up with someone special. No WiFi and no pets allowed, but service was pleasant. I went later in the afternoon and didn't have to worry about crowds. The ugly mug is worth the coffee break. read more

I really like this coffee place, it's cute and customer service has always been very welcoming and overall nice when taking your order. This cozy coffee shop has a really cute, homey interior with fun decor. My friend loves this spot so I tried it for the first time, and I ordered the White Chocolate Latte. I usually like white chocolate but this one I really did not like. It tasted off, it could be because I got it with non-fat milk (which sometimes doesn't go well with everything), and I was pretty disappointed about it so I asked if they could change it and they said they couldn't, which is fine. However, my friend got the S'mores latte which was pretty good so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. If I ever come back I will order that instead. read more

Ugly Mug is near Larry's Chili Dog, so you can get your caffeine fix after your chili dose. They have a standard menu for hot, iced, and blended coffees. They also have Sugar Free and Vegan menus for those with dietary limitations. The Cold Brew and Vanilla Lattes are both good. The location is small with all the seating on the patio. read more

This small coffee shop offers a fairly large coffee menu with specialty drinks, such as their dirty horchata and banana chai latte. They also offer some baked goods, but they tend to sell out by the morning. Today, I got an iced raspberry mocha latte, a kale/spinach and cheese croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant. I would recommend the ice raspberry mocha latte for those with a sweet tooth. The croissants were buttery and perfectly toasted, my favorite being the kale/spinach and cheese croissant. The wood interior, vintage trinkets and signs, and old tv set playing Disney movies on the floor creates a charming, cozy, vintage feel. The baristas were also very kind and helpful, even offering to work with me on my preferred sweetness level. Guests (and some of their furry companions) are also able to enjoy their food and drinks at their outdoor patio. read more

The Ugly Mug has won my heart. They won it with their adorable patio. With their whimsical and quaint decor. Their cheerful customer service. Their delicious coffee drinks, snacks, and pastries. With their TV always playing a children's movie, and with Tugboat Mickey Mouse on the wall. Most of all, they won my heart for being a place where I can always go and feel happy and relaxed. When the world is too much, it's nice to know there's someplace where you can sit on a patio, listen to the tinkling of a fountain, sip a coffee, watch the world go by, and feel good. read more
Was in the area & needed a quick pick-me-up. Out of the many cafes I tried, this is one of the few that had cheery & welcoming staff :) There were many menu items that sounded solid! I ended up getting the vegan soy vanilla nut latte & my boyfriend was set on the white chocolate latte as soon as he saw it on the menu. Our drinks came out quickly & both were good! Unfortunately we only went the one time, they weren't busy and it was about 9am, street parking only

Yes. I had almond milk in my drinks. Can't remember if they had oat and soy options.

They have several vegan options and all drinks can be ordered with almond, soy, coconut or oat milk.

Is this a good place for working?
We are a family friendly coffee shop with high energy and great music. It’s a place where people come together, enjoy our coffee house and share tables. Not so much to just sit down and be quiet.
Are there gluten free options?
There's no food aside from baked goods and chips. None of the baked goods are gluten free that I've seen. Perhaps some of the bagged snacks and chip could be gluten free.
Does this place allow dogs? Inside? Outside? Any outlets at the patio?
Service dogs are allowed inside at all times, most people hang out at the patio with their dogs. No outlets outside.
