I don't usually order iced coffees or teas, but the Blueberry Cloud Matcha sounded too interesting to pass up. It came out beautifully layered, with whipped foam on top, matcha in the middle, and blueberry syrup at the bottom. I noticed some people using straws, but I drank it without one, and it was delicious. The foam blended into everything perfectly while still keeping those pretty layers. My bowl came out soon after and was just as nicely presented. I especially loved the whipped sweet potato, which was such delicate touch. The bowl was also very filling, with lots of fresh, hearty ingredients, so I couldn't quite finish it--but it was satisfying and delicious. I visited late in the afternoon, around 3pm on a sunny Friday, and the cafe was still packed. There was plenty of seating, including cozy corners and brighter areas near the windows. Overall, it felt peaceful, relaxed, and very much like a community hub. If you're visiting Salem and looking for a vegan-friendly spot, this is definitely worth checking out.

I ordered an iced decaf coconut flavor oat milk latte, and it was absolutely delicious. When the coconut flavoring ran out just before I ordered , the staff happily went to the back and opened a new bottle so they could make exactly what I requested. They were fun, friendly, and seemed happy to help. That small act of care made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. The latte itself was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly cold, exactly what I needed while walking around Salem on a steamy summer day. Front Street serves Jim's Organic Coffee, and the quality came through in every sip. I also loved the coffeehouse's cozy, lived-in atmosphere and its visible LGBTQ inclusivity. It felt like a place created for community: warm, expressive, relaxed, and welcoming to everyone. That matters to me just as much as a great cup of coffee. Despite this, I received a regular acai smoothie with peanut butter--the purple smoothie--instead of the yellow smoothie I ordered. I was unable to drink it and ultimately had to throw it away. Fortunately, I do not have a peanut allergy, but receiving an ingredient I specifically did not order could have been a serious issue for someone with an allergy. Unfortunately, due to the poor service and incorrect order, I will not be returning.
