i visited on a thurs. night.. the place looked very clean and new. i liked the vibe you get with the nadical atmosphere you see in most seafood boil places. love the huge bar in the center with the huge projector to make it fun to watch sports or something. :::FOOD::: we ordered the *steam oysters* in cajun medium sauce. pretty spicy! i liked it thought. the quality of the oysters are better than at the duluth location. crawfish = frozen... green mussels = large and meaty. i loved them! dungeness = must order veryyyyy meaty and large portion!! shrimp (head on)= i love to suck the head jucies, so thats a must for me. large portion and large sized shrimp too seasonings = i dont care for the juciy special anymore. just wayy too salty. i always go for a combo of cajun + garlic butter! and the spice level you can handle. doesnt hurt to sweat a little while going in on your seafood boil. no pain no gain! the Manager Carri stopped by, and i must say, she was absolutely wonderful. she made sure we were being taken care of and even went above and beyond to make sure we were having a unforgettable experience. Service started off very slow, unfortunately. We sat at table 141 which I'm assuming it's part of the bar. Miss Lyric took a while to come get our drinks order which is fine & understandable; another young lady was kind enough to grab our drinks for her but what isn't fine is not even acknowledging us even though the hostess told her we were about to get seated there. Once she came over the table, she slammed the buckets. Because she already had a bad attitude, she didn't hear us order French fries with out appetizers, which we did because after we put in our full order, we had a child with us and emphasized how we didn't want anything for the child bc she'd be eating off those fries so we absolutely did order those fries. Anyway, once we got our appetizer (wings) i asked if the fries were coming out and she rudely said NO MAAM, YOU DID NOT ORDER THEM. Okay, no problem but what's the need to do all that when you can just suggest to put the order in kindly? I'd have apologized myself and ordered some fries but Instead we said nvm and she walked away without saying anything else nor suggesting a solution. We all have bad days but that ain't none of my concerns nor fault, treat people how you want to be treated. Unfortunately bc a 18% tip charge was already added to our bill, she did not care to treat us in a proper manner. We got rubbed the wrong way and felt very unwelcome that we didn't even feel like ordering refills to give her any other troubles since it seemed like we were lol. The food which is NOT her fault was very bland and mid. Had we had been given a better run down of the menu and or had a server with a better attitude, we wouldn't have had to pay over $300 for 5 adults; she could've easily made things easier and cheaper for us in my opinion. Money is not an issue for us but unfortunately the service made our visit extremely unpleasant and will not be returning to this location. No matter who you are or how bad your day may be going, just be kind and treat people the way you like to be treated. I'm the first person to stand up for good servers bc my sister is 1 (my dad is THE best tipper too) but people like her do not make it easy for me to defend. I got the catfish basket for my main with some hush puppies and lemon pepper wings as appetizers. The catfish was NOT it. It wasn't seasoned at all, it just tasted like the ocean. I actually seasoned it and put it in my air fryer for a little bit of pizzazz and dipped it in alotttttt of LHS to make it palatable. My husband picked The Juicy Crab to celebrate his birthday with family. We had a party of 18 people and were able to get a reservation on a Friday night. Things couldn't have been better. Service was excellent, drinks were made properly, food was delicious. The seasoning options are great! I loved the crab legs and lobster in the lemon pepper. They even came out to bring my husband dessert and sing "Happy birthday" to him without me having to ask. It was a delicious cheesecake. If I were to list anything negative, it would be that they don't seem to have a kids menu. There is a "create your own" option and that's what we ended up doing for our youngest, so we didn't have any issues. He loves crab legs. He doesn't like potatoes though, and our sweet server said she could just double his corn and leave off the potato. We'll definitely be returning when we want more crab legs and crawfish! read more

I haven't been here in a few years. I live closer to the Duluth location but I remember that location being packed most of the time I passed by. We were watching a movie at the Mall of Georgia and saw the new location and wanted to try it again. I had two clusters of the Snow Crab with Extra Hot Juicy Special. I am happy I checked this place out again. The flavor is sooo good. I really enjoyed eating the crab and was not happy when the meal was done. Luckily I still had potatoes to sop up the sauce and I finished those pretty quickly. The one thing missing (in my opinion) that I have had at other crab places in Duluth is the ability to add Noodles to the bag. That would have been a welcome addition to my meal here to grab that flavor. But this place has a slightly better flavor to the extra spicy mix that other places I have tried. Our server was sweet and helpful, but the food was not good. The seafood boil was extremely salty - I understand cajun is suppose to be salty but this was over bearing. I couldn't really enjoy it; the sauce lacked a lot of flavor. We got their Juicy Crab special sauce for our boil. Their shrimp was not properly prepped as I noticed some of the pieces were not deveined. The food came out a little bit too cool for my liking. I was only a few bites into it and my food got cold. This is the same review as my Google review. By far one of the worst food experiences I've ever had. For starters we all got food poisoning which isnt surprising due to how quickly we realized our fried calamari was completely tender and cold. The calamari being the most obvious of the undercooked food that somehow took 20-30 minutes to arrive after ordering, which is alright for wait time if everything wasn't mushy and cold like it had been tossed in a microwave. Despite the food poisoning and incredibly underwhelming food. It is sad that getting a refill required getting up and asking our waitress due to our her being the only one seemingly working or willing to work as she was stuck cleaning the bar by herself while managing a single table and looking pissed at us when we asked for refills. Meanwhile two co workers were talking to each other loudly, cursing and and listening to music with what I can only assume was a friend of theirs who probably came in to chat for hours as she didn't wear a uniform and was flirting with them constantly doing weird things.
