My husband and I went to Fogo de Chão for brunch this morning after we left church and must say that we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is very clean and everything on the salad bar was neatly laid out with their own serving utensils. There were so many varieties of salad and fruits to choose from There is a station that you can order your omelet from and there's a wide selection of options to choose from to add to your omelet. The lady at the station prepares your omelet for you and brings it to your table. We enjoyed all the food. My husband enjoyed the lamb chops and the beef. I enjoyed the smoked salmon and the chicken salad from the salad bar Debra, the manager, is awesome. She is very attentive. When we got there, she was dressing tables and helping her staff. She is a beautiful lady both inside and out. Thank you, Debra, for all that you do Michelle, our server, is such a sweet young lady. She multitask very well. I was very excited when Fogo de Chão opened in Buford, so close to my home. To celebrate a special anniversary, we made a reservation, and even at our 5 p.m. reservation time, the restaurant was already bustling with guests, reflecting its popularity and anticipation in the area. Our table was conveniently located near the self-serve salad bar, and the impressive variety and quality of fresh vegetables, cheeses, and side dishes immediately stimulated my appetite. Everything was beautifully presented and well stocked. A glass of wine for me and sparkling water for my wife paired perfectly with the main dining experience. Among the various cuts of meat, we especially enjoyed the ribeye and bottom sirloin, both of which were flavorful, tender, and expertly prepared. One challenge, however, was getting the lamb chops. I had to remind at least five different servers before they finally arrived at our table, likely because they were in high demand that evening. In a few cases, I also had to specifically request certain cuts of meat rather than having them offered naturally. That said, the servers overall were attentive and professional, and one staff member in particular, Christina, truly stood out. I initially thought she might have been a manager or lead server because she carried herself with an owner's mentality. She was warm, consistently smiling, and highly professional in the way she interacted with guests and managed the dining room. To make our anniversary even more special, the restaurant graciously provided dessert on the house, which was a thoughtful touch that we sincerely appreciated. My friends and I were really excited for this location to open since it's closer to home, and we've always had great experiences at the Atlanta location. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet my expectations. We came on a Wednesday night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the service was frustrating from the start. It took a long time for any of the meats to come out, and we constantly had to ask our server to bring more. I tried almost every meat they offered, but most of it was overcooked, dry, tough, and hard to chew. The only standout was the chicken thighs, which were moist and full of flavor.The salad bar was decent and offered a good variety it was honestly the best part of the night. Lastly, they really need to address the sewer issue. Our table was near the door, and every time it opened, there was a strong unpleasant smell. When we stepped outside, the odor was even worse it was overwhelming. The restaurant itself was very clean and nicely set up. Overall, I wouldn't return. read more

I kicked off my birthday weekend at the brand-new Fogo de Chao in Buford and let me tell you the hype is real. I used to be a regular at the Buckhead location. When I heard they were opening right here in Gwinnett I knew exactly where I'd be. First off, the building is stunning--super sleek and modern. But it's the vibe inside that really won me over. I met up with my college roomie Tami and her toddler, and the staff was so incredibly sweet with the little one. You know how fancy dining can feel a bit extra with a kiddo? Not here. They made us feel at home! Can we talk about the bread for a second? OMG! It was even better than I remembered: crunchy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. I'm not saying I ate way too many but I'm not saying I didn't. To wash it down, I got the Pineapple Mint Lemonade. If you know me, you know I love a drink that isn't a total sugar bomb. This was crisp, refreshing and just perfect. Since I haven't touched red meat in forever, I skipped the full churrasco. My disk stays on red. I went for the Pan-Seared Salmon and Mashed Potatoes. Hands down, the best decision of the month. The salmon was flaky and tender, and those potatoes? Absolute perfection. The staff even gave me a special celebration disk for my birthday, which was such a cute touch! I thought I was too full for dessert until I saw Creme Brulee on the menu. They were actually so busy they ran out of this classic, but the manager saved the day with a Brulee Cheesecake instead. What a delicious plot twist! My husband and I were sooo excited to try Fogo De Chao. We heard all about the luscious meats being brought to your table. Our server explained the entire setup including the market table. The market table features tons of fresh salads, pastas, antipasto meats and cheeses. We loved it. The service was so timely. The meat portions were generous along with the fried bananas and mashed potato sides. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay (just ok) and hubby got the pineapple old fashioned (he loved it). Once we were happily satisfied, we got the creme brûlée cheesecake. I don't generally care for cheesecake but this was by far some of the best cheesecake I've tried. First time at Fogo to celebrate a birthday...we visited during the lunch hour. With a reservation, we were seated immediately. It's a beautifully decorated space. The servers were fairly attentive, and meat options were plentiful and ongoing. My favorite cut was the bottom round; everything else was okay. The lobster mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were tasty. I did not really care for the market bar options. My wife and I visited the new Fogo de Chão location near the Mall of Georgia, and we had a great experience. When a restaurant first opens, service can sometimes be hit or miss, but that definitely wasn't the case for us. Our waitress, Lenessa, was fantastic. Yesterday was my family's 2nd time eating at this amazing restaurant. But what made it so special was our server his name is Connor and he was the absolute best. He remembered us from our first visit. It's not often that you go out to dinner and everything is great, the wait staff, and the food. Fogo de No!!! Not worth the price at all! Might be because of growing pains who knows. Was expecting a lot more on a $400 dinner for three people. Giving them the benefit of the doubt. The tables are crammed and way too close to each other. Watched three different tables try to maneuver there tables for more room. Getting up getting food and navigating back to the table was a hinderance. Asked for specific items and got passed up several times so don't ask for what you want. Noticed Fogo just opened in Buford so I had to try it out. There was about 40 mins wait for a table, which was longer than expected for lunch. The environment is nice since it is a new establishment. Ordered empanadas, picanha burger, crab cake, and beef ribs, and for crème brûlée for desert. Over all the food was fine, until I discovered hair in my crème brûlée,which I was so looking forward to. I notified our waitress, that did ruin my appetite and I was disappointed. The manager DID NOT come to address any concerns nor was addressed. Had dinner with my family ambience was good, but I really have to say I did not enjoy the food. The steak was overcooked. It was tough. The salad bar was not that great a lot of mixed items that I would not eat. The waiter brought a drink to my son. They made a mistake. It was supposed to be a double and they brought two then when my son told the waiter he said oh I'm gonna have to take that back and he picked it up and took it back now that you know they couldn't serve that again if they took it off the table once it's on our table so that was not good. Customer service as far as I'm concerned I'm sorry if I upset some people, but I did not enjoy my meal at all. This was the first time at Fogo de Chão and a Brazilian Steakhouse. The food was great. The market bar/salad bar was very delicious. The steaks, lamb, and chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Let me start off by saying that I wanted to love this new location. I have visited the other Atlanta locations over the past 10 years and had very good experiences. To start off with the staff was amazing, very attentive, the restaurant was super clean and had a very good vibe. On the other hand, the food was just average, kind of on the dry side, there was only one of the meats. I believe it was the sirloin that was actually really good. Everything else was just OK. The Salva bar was really good. With tip it was almost $200 and I don't know that I would give it another chance for that kind of money I could go to Frankie's the steakhouse or something along those lines. Like I said, I was really hoping to love this because it is very close to where I live, but for the money, I would probably not try it again. Maybe they were just having an off night, but the meat was on the dry side. My favorite thing they brought around was the pineapple it was out of this world. Also, the dessert, I got the chocolate chocolate something cake was also amazing. Our waiter and waitress were awesome, the staff was great. May as well order and pay for only the Brazilian special (less expensive cuts only) experience, not the full churrasco as we ordered the full experience because we love ribeye, fillet and beef rib, but were not served the ribeye, fillet or beef rib until I complained to our waiter that we were not being offered beef at all, then in the last 4 or 5 minutes, they brought rare ribeye that was mostly carved off already, a tiny bit of beef rib. We were continually offered chicken and lamb only. Cost cutting? Vastly different experience in Buford location and the Atlanta locations, I've never been slighted on advertised offerings at the Atlanta location. I took my son as I wanted him to love this closer location but now he will never go back and neither will I. read more

The red meats never came by our table and they only brought the chicken and pork over. The waiter and waitress have no clue of what they do, don't even know if the limeade is refillable or not. I waited an hour and 15 mins for the picanha. Salad bar was overly crowded and we've waited for the candied bacons for the whole time we were here but they never refilled. Let me start by saying I have been to other Fogo de Chao restaurants in Georgia and they were great. The food was plenty full, and the service was spot on. This is the first time easting at the one in Buford GA. When we got there, we were seated fairly fast. Once we sat down at the table it took at least 20 minutes for someone to come as take our drink order. Then that took another 15 minutes to receive the drinks. After that it went downhill fast. They rarely came by with food and when we asked for more rolls that I love so much it took forever to get them and they only gave us 4 at a time and we were a table of 6. They never came by to give us any mash potatoes or any other sides that you normally what get besides the meat. The service was very poor and they never came by to check on us to see if we needed anything. The only time we saw our service was to see if we were ready to get our check. I guess since we did not get the premium meal they forgot about us. The food was not as good as the other locations nor was the service. I will not be back to this location. If I decide to eat again at a Fogo de Chao I will go to the other locations in the area. It was not worth $65.00's a head at all. read more
