a table with a variety of food items

Anyone have any insight on what's going on here? Came in at 12 noon when it opened on a Saturday and the buffet was only 25% setup. Told us to come back in 5-7 minutes. They added 1 item, but no rice and no serving spoons. The place was completely empty. My plate was also fractured and about to fully crack into 4 pieces. It's 12:40 now and we are still the only ones here. Most of the items arrived by 12:35 pm. Nan was slightly burnt but crispy. They do have goat curry which is my favorite Indian protein, so that's a plus. This place used to be pretty packed for lunch 5+ years ago. Where did everyone go?

    chicken tikka masala i think?

pretty good indian food! I got the chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, and tandoori chicken. The biryani was HUGE. This was enough for 2 meals, I couldn't finish it. I liked it a lot, I thought it was yummy and flavorful. The tandoori chicken was a bit dry, not as good as the biryani.

Very tasty food and cute decor! Owner is very nice and gave me a free bottle of water to go. Thank you

Great packaging. Not common to include plastic bag these days

Had a late night 12:30AM delivery from Kebab Factory and glad I went with them. I checked the hours it seems they have late night hours 11pm-1am perhaps just for delivery and take outs. Anyway for the positives the lamb biryani was my favorite. Very good portion and very tasty, of course I wish there were more meat but honesty for the price it's a great choice seeing how flavorful the rice was. The tikka masala was pretty decent definitely on the creamy side and not watered down like some restaurants that would try to cut back. I thought it was a good choice to go with the classics Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the Saag curry as much as it was overly salty for me and compare with the other two dishes I ordered definitely was a disappointment. However everything else was great, awesome packaging and very hot food when it arrived. I'm very happy to have them nearby as a late night choice. Hope I'm the future I can visit their establishment in person but in the meantime it's a great choice for some delicious authentic Indian food

    Moldy Gulab Jamun

Ordered delivery- received moldy food. What wasn't moldy was saltier than Carthaginian soil. Called the restaurant but no effort was made to rectify the situation. All in all, a highly disappointing dinner (to say the least).

Dissapointed with the food totally. They served burnt papad. Service was slow. Place looks like it needs a facelift. The table was sticky.

I was very excited to hear I would be traveling to Boston for work. It's a HUGE upgrade to traveling to Mississippi (http://www.yelp.com/list/stranded-in-forest-ms-forest). Immediately I started bookmarking a ton of places. I got so carried away for only a five day trip. Actually this place wasn't one of them but it was a nice surprise. I met up with a friend in Boston. Our first choice was Muqueca but unfortunately it's closed on Mondays so we came here instead. The decor was really random, it looked more like a cafe than an Indian restaurant. They had a lunch buffet going on but we opted for the menu. Luckily my friend has been here before and suggested anything from the kebab menu. Gotta go with the namesake right?! Here's what we ordered: Sheermal (Pakistani sweet milk bread with saffron) - This bread was AMAZING! It was buttery and flaky. I was addicted!! I've never even heard of it but it was a little similar to some roti I had when I went to Thailand. I need to find this in LA ASAP!! Chapli Kebab (escalloped chicken) - the spices were something I've never tasted before and it was really good. It was crusted with pomegranate seeds and the chicken came out super juicy. It also came with a little side of tikka masala sauce that was really creamy and a lentil sauce that was very spicy. Tandoori Machali (mahi mahi) - Nice chunks of mahi mahi. I think it was my first time having fish at an Indian restaurant and it was pretty good. The fish I got was slightly overcooked. We were also served a small cup of their soup of the day. Nice garlic flavor with small chunks of potatoes. It was perfect for the rainy day. Total was $44 including tax and tip.

Four words: spicy cold niku udon. The signature is also good!…read more I've been a fan of Yume ever since I found out about it when I went to Tufts for college. It was the Asian-American community's go-to spot for dine-in, take-out, or both! This was back when they had their location in the Lesley University food court too - people would be lining up for 30+ minutes to get a coveted seat at one of their humble seats. I look fondly on when they would yell "perfect" whenever I finished my bowl, praising how I slurped every freshly cut udon noodle and devoured every ounce of broth or crispy tempura bit they put in there. The new location is just a few stores down, still in/out of the Lesley University mall area. It has a nice ambiance and feels less cramped. While I miss the "perfect" yelling, the flavor still tastes just as good even if it's gotten an insane amount of hype since then. Would highly recommend ordering takeout if you're in a rush - they do it very efficiently, both at the original Cambridge location and the new Seaport location too. I'm so happy for all of their success!

We came around 4pm and luckily it wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get seated right away. I ordered the cold niku udon and overall it was really good! The noodles had a great chewy texture, the beef was flavorful, and everything tasted really fresh. We also tried the hot udon, which was really good too and definitely worth trying if you prefer something warm. Service was also super quick, which I appreciated. I will say I had pretty high expectations because of how hyped this place is, and personally I don't think it completely lived up to the hype for me. It was still a really good bowl of udon though, and I'm definitely glad I finally tried it. Would still recommend checking it out at least once!

This is a somewhat niche Brazilian bakery in Cambridge. I had tried their Lechmere branch before…read moreand thought it was good, so this time I tried the main branch. Parmesan Pao de Queijo: The thin, crispy crust and the soft, airy mochi inside were as good as ever, and the saltiness was just right, but the cheese was a bit richer than last time. Plus, last time it didn't come with salted butter (which is more like whipped cream), so spreading it on made it even richer. Herbs & Garlic Pao de Queijo: A new flavor. The garlic, oregano, and thyme aromas were all perfectly balanced, and I felt it was better than the Parmesan one. Matcha Latte: This bakery was featured on the Beli App's Boston Top Matcha list, but I thought it was just average. The matcha was too bitter and lacked aroma; it was more pronounced without sugar, and the milk flavor wasn't prominent either.

I believe you still order at the counter and they give you a number to leave on the table. I loooooove their iced matcha drinks, my favorite is the strawberry jam. I always feel like I drink it too fast that's how much I like it. I'm not sure how matcha is normally made but I watched them make it, it's like filled with milk and then one scoop of matcha. They have other flavors I've never tried but one day. Also their pao de queijo is yummy. Fresh cheesey bread!!! Money wise it's better to buy a four pack but they also sell them in singles if you just want one. I will say, the problem here and at the other location....is the time you have to wait. My pao de queijo was ready in minutes. My matcha....well almost 15 minutes. Only one guy was making drinks for a long time until someone came to help. They're making orders for takeout and dine in at the same time so I understand but it requires patience... But the quality is good, a little pricey so I'll come back. I also like the interior at this location, bright inside and lots of seating.
