Caesar salads were okay! Came with 'Keg Classics' Fresh parm was nice of course . Mild medium or hot fresh garlic would be nice option .

In the city , great location . First time here . There's a bit of hype about this place apparently .. Got a gift card from work , thought we'd check er out .. Parked out back , Marriott and The Keg are in same building. Dark spot walking in! Ambiance! Greeted nicely, asked to sit and wait for a brief moment. Sat in a booth , cozy and private. Good/classy atmosphere and great service. Started with a Heineken on tap , was flat ahhh but got a Belgian Moon and did the trick. We both got caesar salads with our main courses, and were served those first.. would be nice to have mild/medium/hot option for garlic meh.. then came warm/soft home-loaf mmm with butter.. then a few minutes later came the onion soup ($10) .. delicious- bold flavours with sherry and beef broth. Ordered top sirloin - medium steak ($38) and New York Strip-loin- medium rare ($44) . Both were tender and juicy, and came with mushrooms, green beans , and garlic mashed.. Paired with Jackson-Triggs Proprietors Selection ($7.5- had with top sirloin) , and Three Thieves cab sauv ($10- with New York Strip-loin) Server asked how we were doing every so often which was nice . Washrooms were clean and pretty neat how you can walk by the kitchen on the way . Big spot in general. Nice night out!

Just checked in at the keg !

Here for the first time . Won't be my last .I ordered the Keg Burger with fries and the Calamari for an appetizer. Food was excellent. Service was friendly. Not a big wait time for the food to arrive at the table . Prices are on the high end side but worth the visit for a special occasion or a meal with coworkers .Highly recommend this place on your next visit .

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. From the outside you cannot tell that they place is packed with a wait to eat. Wow, I thought -- this is a popular place! Good sign. The wait was long so dinner in the bar was a good choice. Service was excellent. The prime rib, although it came out medium instead of the requested medium rare, was very tasty as was the baked potato with fresh chives and sour cream. Was disappointed in the side of button mushrooms, which were way too oily. Bread was blah and not worth eating and the butter was the fake topping I stay away from. That said I really didn't need to eat any bread and butter. The Sangria drink was tasty, however, it was missing the fruit that is advertised on the menu. If in Moncton again, I would return to get prime rib!

Trendy place for a special occasion. Dim lights, fireplaces, and seating reminiscent of upscale places in NYC. Prices are on point with other high end restaurants that offer nice cuts of steak, seafood, etc. You get what you pay for. We started with fresh ciabatta bread and fried calamari. I prefer more breaded calamari but the ginger sauce was tasty. Also served with feta sauce- which I've never seen served with calamari ever. Fiancé and I both had the 2lb whole lobster with choice of a side and a side of veg (beans and roasted red peppers). Lobster was cleaned and pre cracked which was helpful. Served with some melted butter. Service was fast and friendly!

This is the best Keg, the steak was amazing, the calamari was crispy and tasty. The only issue I had was my drink, the amaretto sour was awful. I still gave it 5 stars because I've had it before and it was good.

Well first time I have been to this brand of restaurant and it was a good experience. It is a little dark inside but no darker then some I have been to. This Keg restaurant is located next to the Marriott Inn Residence and you can gain access to it directly from the hotel, however you cannot charge your dinner back to your room, which would be a good thing, so perhaps they will consider this for the future. Anyway once my eyes had adjusted to the light and I had found my way to the front of the restaurant the staff told me I could sit in the main restaurant or the bar area so I choose the bar area as it was less crowded and there were many seats available with menus on them. However these tables were reserved for wedding parties I was told once I had sat myself down!! Any how once I had selected a none reserved set I ordered my meal from my server and I went for the chicken Creole dish. The portion size was good and enabled me to have a little desert. By the time I had moved onto desert the wedding parties had arrived and the volume had increased ten fold so I was glad to be almost finished with my meal. I did look at other reviews and most people mentioned the price, true it seems a little bit pricey for what you get but in comparison to some of the steak restaurants in England the price was reasonable. Would i visit the Keg Steakhouse agiain possibly.

Great steakhouse. Excellent atmosphere and great please to celebrate a special ocasion with your loved one or friends. Lots of options from the bar and food menu. Steak is cooked to perfection. Make sure to save place for the Billy Miner dessert. Best dessert around.

The "Baseball Sirloin" with twice baked potato and shrimp skewers.

We arrived just before the supper rush without a reservation in an effort to have a nice supper with our son who was home from college. Even though there were five of us they found us a table right away. Our server, Heather, was extremely friendly and helpful. I decided to try the "Baseball Sirloin" and it was excellent. The twice baked potato with bacon was perfect and were the shrimp skewers. My wide and daughter had ribs and everyone was very pleased with their meals. They brought us extra fresh bread and onions and mushrooms with out steak that was fantastic. There was nothing disappointing about our night out. Every part of our evening exceeded our expectations.

Creamy and filled to the brim with fruits of the sea. Just when I thought there had to be potatoes in my spoon, my mouth was met with scallops on scallops on scallops. I love the way the restaurant prepared their lobster, minimally, as to preserve the natural texture and flavor of the ocean. The fries are made from locally grown potatoes, fried to crisp on the outside, starchy and squishy on the inside. The bacon tightly wrapped around the scallops, adding a sweet and salty note to a soft pillow. The mussels were bouncy meaty but was paired with a white wine sauce infused with an herb that we were not fans of (perhaps tarragon?). The 15-20min wait was well worth the meal. The bustling environment was telling of its popularity among locals and tourists. Takeout available and it also sells and packages freshly captured seafood to go.

You can tell it's good because it's so popular. They don't take reservations, and we had to wait an hour for the table. By the time we got our table, it was less than half an hour till closing time, and they had run out of the chowder. Service was pleasant, although they were tired from a full and busy day. On top of this, our visit ran nearly an hour and a half past closing time!. Since they were out of chowder (I really wanted lobster!), I ordered fish tacos. They were good, but the Cole slaw was great! I would definitely go back.

Greasy tasty fish & chips!…read more Deluxe Fish & Chips (aka Deluxe French Fries) is a popular fish & chips restaurant chain with locations throughout New Brunswick and Truro, Nova Scotia. I know some people enjoy the fish & chips here, but others don't care for it, a love/hate thing. Deluxe now offers their fish & chips two ways: 1) Famous English-Style (Battered) and 2) now Crispy Light Breaded, you choose! Besides fish & chips, they also offer other fried seafood (scallops, clams), burgers, chicken fingers, poutines, lobster rolls, and Pepsi fountain pop. The fries are fresh cut. A Breakfast menu is served from 7AM-11AM. Specials and family meals are offered. The prices here seem reasonable. The place has a typical fast food restaurant atmosphere with counter (open food prep area with fryers) & overhead lighted menu boards and self serve seating. Free wifi is offered here (with a password). I stopped here for lunch before heading to the mall across the street. I ordered the 2 Piece Fish & Chips Special ($5.49 plus tax/normally $6.59), English-style! I was also asked by the cashier if I wanted to enter a drawing for a free iPad (a way to get your information), but I told her I live in the United States and not eligible to win. My order was ready in under 10 minutes and I decided to eat-in. The 2 pieces of golden battered fish had a very crispy/greasy coating outside and hot and oily inside, flaky moist texture. The light golden fries were nice & crispy and not too greasy. The food was tasty, especially the fries, but the fried fish pieces were very greasy and oily. It'll be crispy light breaded instead of English-style battered for my next order at Deluxe. WEBSITE: http://www.deluxefrenchfries.net

Went to the restaurant around 5pm, and there were a couple tables already occupied. As it got later, around 6pm, more parties of people filled up the space. Staffs were friendly and attentive. I was indecisive and asked lots of questions and asked for suggestions, and the waitress was patient and helpful. Really appreciate that! Menu got lots of appealing dishes. Decided to try Fisherman's platter: half lobster, haddock fish fillet, shrimps, scallops, crab cakes, fresh cooked vegetables (broccoli, carrots, and yellow strips guessing was potatoes? Or white carrots?), and mixed rice. I enjoyed Fisherman's platter as it got a nice seafood variety as well as carb and vegetables. Very balanced meal! Not strongly season nor was it oily, which is how I usually prefer my meals. There were black pepper and salt on the table, so if needed to, could use that to season it more. The plate also came with a small cup of melted butter. Besides the seafood, the mixed rice and vegetables were perfectly cooked and were delicious as well! Waitress provided me a nice hot wet towel to wipe my hands after eating the lobster, which was considerate! I got crème brûlée for dessert and requested it to be served hot. It was very cozy, hot and sweet! Definitely a pricier meal, but considering how much seafood I ate, I would said it was a good deal (especially comparing to SF in California)! Paid with Apple Pay. Would definitely come back again and try some other dishes on the menu!

Came around 3pm. Not a single customer there. But the place looked pretty clean. They have clams, scallops, shrimp, chicken, lobster rolls, cheeseburger, chicken fingers, and poutine. I noticed they also have a new butter chicken dish along with flavors of crispy chicken flavored with different sauces. There's plenty of parking in a very large shopping center where they're located. The place didn't smell at all, which is good since it's a seafood place. They have a gender neutral bathroom. They do Uber Eats & Grubhub. They speak Mandarin Chinese. They must fry them fresh after breading them. I heard them fry my clams about 5 minuets after I ordered, and they fried them for about 2 minutes. I asked for a cup of water and they gave me a small cup of water. They're clams were good it included clam strips and bellies. It was very lightly battered, and not greasy! The clams were also not chewy at all. I don't think their business is doing very well. They have a big sign in their window that says "business for sale" and there's real estate papers advertising the property for sale. I was so full after eating the clams. I think they gave me about a pound of clams. There's only about 4 tables inside that sit about 3-4 people. I think they're mostly a take-out spot.
