So on my lunch hour I decided to go grab a few things for my latest home project. I needed to get all the things needed to actually put up the tile I have perviously purchased here. Not a lot of time in my lunch hour so I was very happy to get in an out quickly. I needed to make a major decision, choose a grout color. To those who have never had to make this decision, it can either make or break your project. Go with the wrong color and it looks like you had Stevie Wonder doing it for you. I was more then glad to let someone help me make the decision about this so I was quickly shown all the colors, helped with the decisions of what colors would "go" and quickly eliminated those that I did not like. Once the decision was made, I basically had to stand there and swipe the card. The gent who was assisting me ran to the back and came out with a box of all the things I needed: The right Color Caulk, Spacers, Colored Grout, the stuff to mix with it so I didn't have to seal it ever, which if you have ever sealed grout you know what a pain that is. Once I swipped my card he grabbed the box and started walking outside with out even being asked and grabbed the bucket of pre mixed mastic on the way out the door. Again, pre mixed is the way to GO! I have purchased from several of the stores in the chain and was very happy to be able to get in, get out and get going. read more

We are in the process of expanding our master bath tile into our closet. So we took a piece of tile to the store to match. We liked the color in the store but they only had 15sq ft, so they had to get more from the warehouse. When we picked it up and took it home not only was the match terrible, but it wasn't even the same size as our tile. Unfortunately when trying to return it we were told it was special order no returns. When I explained that I was told this was coming from their warehouse, the salesperson said "it's from their warehouse not ours". Needless to say I now have 85sqft of the wrong tile. Their practices are deceptive and their customer service is an attitude of we just don't care. Spend your money somewhere else! read more

Horrible company! Unfriendly and dishonest sales reps, horrible selection and a return policy that is full of lies. Tried contacting four different managers with absolutely no return calls. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because much of their stock needs to be ordered. But they are very friendly and helpful and do everything they can to get you what you need as quickly as possible. We have purchased tile for 3 different projects over the last 4 years here and have never been disappointed by the quality or service. read more

We were really pleased when we bought the tile and were told any unused subway tile could be returned for a refund. However, the story changed when we went to go return them. Suddenly there is a no return policy over 6 months. It's subway tile that can be used again. Crooks! read more

Do NOT go here for your tile project! This location is very unprofessional and dishonest. We ordered all of our tile for two bathroom remodels from this World of Tile. They made a mistake when placing our order, then tried to lie about it and cover it up. Once we caught them in the lie, they didn't even do anything to improve our unfortunate experience. We had to change some of our tub design because of their mistake. Also, they will tell you that all tile may be returned, do not believe this. We were told that all of our tile selections could be returned, so I ordered extra to be safe. When I went to return a few pieces, they told me they couldn't return it since it was a special order. Please avoid making your home project a nightmare and choose a different tile store. read more

The store has lots of displays that you can get close to (not way up above your head like Home Depot or Lowe's). These guys know tile, and can recommend the right installation materials to ensure success with your DIY project. read more

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered (and paid for) tile from them and was told it would be ready for pick up in two weeks. I called the day it was supposed to be ready and was told it would be TWO MORE MONTHS! I waited the two months and then called a couple days prior to make sure we were still on schedule only to find out it had already arrived. Here are the issues I have with them...1) nobody bothered calling to let me know it was going to be delayed TWO MONTHS 2) nobody bothered following up to make sure it was going to be delivered two months later...it miraculously showed up just prior to when I called them? I doubt it. Most likely my tile was sitting there for a month while I was sitting around waiting for it but they don't know when it arrived because they never bothered to follow up and only realized it was in because I called them...again 3) when I spoke with the manager, Benji, he proceeded to place all blame on DahlTile because it was on back order. I understand and realize they had no control over the delivery of the tile but they have total control over their customer service and how the situation gets handled, and believe me, it was handled very poorly. Not once did they contact me to provide an update nor did they ever offer an apology for the inconvenience, lack of follow up or customer service. Unfortunately, Benji was the worst of them all and displayed zero remorse, compassion, responsibility, sincerity, or helpfulness, and I would expect A LOT more from a manager. I paid in advance and honestly believe they would never have bothered contacting me, and except for the fact that I called them (several times) they would have just kept my money and my tile. Please do not do business with A World of Tile at 5740 E. County Line Place in Highlands Ranch. They are not trustworthy and lack customer service. read more

I purchased tile, a SunTouch heating flooring system, and a wireless thermostat from Tile World in December 2017. One of the contractors that I did hire measured the bathroom and for unknown reasons over measured the room by ~40 square foot. When the job was complete I had to take unused tile and a box of warm wire back. The salesman pointed out that the box of warm wire that I returned was not the same length that I had on the receipt (I purchase a 100 sf box and I had returned a 160 sf box). I thought no big deal, it was a mistake that had been made when I purchased the material and told him I would leave it the until the manager who sold it to me returned the next day. I took that manager (Benji) five days to return my call and when he did he said there would be not return because he was certain he did not sell me the box of wire? He further insinuated that was trying to pull a fast one on him by trying to return a box of wire that cost over $900 and seek a refund of less than $500? I guess they think I am an idiot and a liar? I tried to call the District Manager (Mike Griffin) and he never bothered to return my call? I guess my recommendation for any potential customer that reads this is, check your order very carefully and then double check it. read more

First of all, Ernesto is my hero! I arrived looking for white subway tile with & without bullnose edges that I could walk out the door with for a project TODAY. While he didn't have enough in the store, he tracked down the other pieces I needed and made sure he called other stores closest to me (since I said I was willing to pick up due to my last minute needs). On July 31, 2016 I ordered $1000.00 worth of "special order" Hamlet Mini Splitface GR 6 x 12 (49 pieces) from Brad Brown (was new and being trained by a manager). A week went buy and problems started. I called to see if tile was is found was shipped to their warehouse instead of store and wouldn't be delivered to store for another 4 days. When the tile came in I asked the manager what if we find any tiles that had defects The cracked stones or ones we felt would not match our backsplash Layout. The manager stated because the tile were "special order" we couldn't get a refund but there was no in getting replacements for them. Sounded good so we accepted the tiles. Three weeks later when we started the project and went through the boxes of tile for prep work we found 14 tiles that had big chips out of the stones, color tints of brown (tiles were gray and white), some had stones missing, and there were wide gaps between the stones (tiles were designed not have grouting needed). We took these tiles back was met with a nasty manger who has no customer skills and didn't even look at all the tiles but right away stated "that's the way they are and there is nothing wrong with them". I told him we were not trying to return them but to get replacements. Nope!!! I couldn't find the sales man that originally help us. This store is deceiving, has no customer service and we will never shop at this place again. If you are thinking about shopping there get everything in writing. Steve Drake read more
