The location is quaint, has a good menu, and fast service. We really liked the variety of drink and side options. My burger was good, the Dagwood homemade bun made it extra delicious. My onion rings were nice and crispy. They have condiments at the counter you can ask for! Service was alright, didn't know the menu numbering system and felt like he was bummed to be there. Super nice folks and delicious food. I had a god side turkey burger with homemade bun and the lettuce is romaine not that icky iceberg shreds. Fresh veg, kids love their "wimpy" bacon cheeseburgers which were perfect size snd many choices. They even have zucchini fries. 10-15 min wait for food to be cooked to order. Thank you! read more

We stopped by here and grabbed some grilled cheese sandwiches, French fries and milkshakes. The outside got a makeover and fresh paint. Young man at the counter was not very talkative but got the job done. Seems like he didn't really care to answer questions. Don't judge a book by its cover. We were doubtful upon entering, but we're glad we stayed. There is a layer of grime over everything like lots of burger dives. The workers were nice and helpful. Allll our burgers were great, all the components were quality, meat-good, buns-good, toppings & sauces-good. The fries were hot and delicious too. This little spot really nailed a good burger joint! I got ent crispy chicken Aloha sandwich and buddy got the Colossal burger. Buns were great and fresh. Ingredients plentiful and seemed crisp . The colossal is a lottt of food and he said with the pastrami was real solid. My chicky sando was good, not great. I enjoyed the sandwich, but it lacked a little flavor. Needed a sauce or maybe the chicken and breading needed more seasoning. Crinkle fries in their fry sauce really hit the spot for us. It felt super-strange to be the sole customer in the place. But my order was taken and prepared quickly everything packed up to go in a burger patty box. I ordered the colossal combo. Which included fries, but I added onion rings to the order as well as a chocolate shake and large Dr Pepper. The burger was cooked perfectly and I gotta say, was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. The fries were cooked through, hot and seasoned to my taste. The onion rings as well, were cooked to a delightful color and were the classic smooth battered rings. As some may know, I'm something of a chocolate malt fan. I also enjoy a good chocolate shake. This one was borderline. Made with ice cream but not properly mixed. I could see a good sized lump of vanilla ice cream as I tried to stir the contents. I'd asked for the Dr. Pepper with extra ice, so I don't know if it was that, the extraordinarily hot day or a weak mix, but the soda was a bit watery, All in all, a very edible meal and I would definitely return next time I'm in town. read more

I have no idea how this place has such high stars. I honestly rated it lower because I was expecting a 4 star burger joint. The food was meh. Reviews say the buns are homemade? I highly doubt it. A small little burger joint with minimal seating but everything we tried was great. I got the BBQ burger and it was very tasty. I also got a banana milkshake and it was thick and creamy and everything you would want. Fries were decent but not remarkable. There are 5 of us... we got two #2's: the Dagwood Colossal. Which was huge. Each one is really big enuf for two people! I'm talking my hubby, and 3 teen boys!!! Sorry we were starving so no BEFORE pic. But each #2 Came with large fries and a giant drink. We also got a cheeseburger special for m3, not at all kiddie in size, came w/ fries and a drink too. Pay attention to the signs of special on ALL THE WINDOWS... they had a family special too that I didn't see until after we ordered. This place is small... we took our food back to the hotel. The area looks like a residential area... but don't judge it by the outside! Go inside and you won't regret it! read more

Two things: 1. My friend got food poisoning here. 2. I was briefly parked in Dagwoods' parking lot while trying to move cars around. A lady who works there was belligerent and threatened to call the cops even though I was making it clear that I was moving soon. That behavior is unacceptable. Small businesses cannot thrive if they are threatening customers (of which I had been one many a time, but no longer). If it were just a one time food poisoning I would not leave a bad review, but threatening customers instead of talking civilly is not okay. read more

For a hamburger joint that looks from the outside as if they might not care much about healthcare codes, on the inside it's actually good! It got a 97 out of 100 score on their previous inspection! Everything is clean with lots of space. Staff is nice, helped me make great informative choices. Bought their Dagwood #1 Specialty Burger with pastrami and......pastrami had to get tossed. Interior could use a makeover...taking down the siding and just painting the ceiling and then adding rough board siding on the walls would go a long way...but...although the interior is dated, it is clean. Dagwoods is hands down the best burger shop in town. The burgers always turn out great, especially the ones with homemade buns. Also a great take-out spot for lunches at work, the wait time is usually about 15-20 minutes depending on how much you're ordering. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid burger. read more
