What an awesome Quincy restaurant, maybe be a bit hard to find, but very well worth it. Loved our lunch here, I had a Deli sandwich with ham and Swiss on a Dutch Crunch roll, Hubby had a hot Pastrami with Marbled Rye Bread. Great lean Pastrami. Both came with a nice bag of Chips. We loved them both. The restaurant is very clean and well laid out, with menus on all tables. When we got there, we were greeted with friendly staff and got a table. The staff was very kind and helpful with ordering. Can hardly wait to return and order another great Lunch. Well return soon!!

We came here a little after 11am on a Friday. It was not very busy as it had just opened. We approached the counter and the young lady answered a couple of questions about the specials. My wife chose the club sandwich on multi-grain bread and I chose the meatball sandwich. We both had wanted to try the chicken noodle soup but she explained to us that it would not be ready for about 20 minutes. The young lady then went to work preparing our sandwiches which were made and delivered in a timely manner and looked delicious. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and we felt taken care of. Our only complaints would be the fact that the soup was not ready when they opened and my wife also noted that her club sandwich did not contain any cheese which seemed strange. Overall it was a good experience and we will return when in the area!

THE best in town! Chef Krissy and her crew offer the best food and service you could ask for!

It's supposed to be cut in half?

Disappointing they can't keep their inventory of Dutch crunch bread and avocado high enough to meet demand. You're supposed to order more of your high demand ingredients.. How have they not figured this out yet? The multigrain bread is also so, so dry.. it's crumbly and not good at all. The rest of the sandwiches are okay. But what drove me to finally leave a review is my sandwich that got "cut in half". I get they're busy but jeez, that's not down the middle, not even close. That's a third, and this isn't the first time. It takes 2 seconds to make sure the knife is centered? Pretty ridiculous.

The minute you walk through the door, you smell how great the food will be... SO FRESH. The Rueben on rye was delicious!

Best sandwichs in Quincy for sure. Friendly and appreciative folks. Deli style with lots of choices or just let them fix you up.

She always made sure our coffee was filled and consistently checked on us. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and fries. It looked amazing! Fries were tasty, crispy and hot. The sandwich was fresh as well but honestly... not a ton of flavor. I had to add some hot sauce to it. I'm also not sure why it's labeled as also serving Mexican in the yelp description. The inly item I saw was huevos rancheros. Lastly, it's labeled here as the Mountain View cafe but on the building it has a large sign that says the Log Cabin... so don't let that confuse you! I really like the interior and the wood like, cozy small town feel! I grew up in a town like Portola and it definitely took me back. I might come back to try another dish as I do like supporting small businesses!

The place itself is quite small with limited parking, but everyone is nice and kind and they have little buzzers to notify you when your table is ready :) I got the French toast with strawberries and oh my goodness it was DELICIOUS. The French toast was a perfect blend of fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The bread itself was amazing. I opted in for some fresh strawberries, but you can get other fruit or a fruit syrup as well. The French toast also comes with warm maple syrup, and I can attest it was definitely warm. It made the whole eating experience feel luxurious, and I had a delightful time eating it all up. If I ever come back to Lake Tahoe for holiday, I will definitely need to swing by this place to experience this French toast again. So good!

Clover cafe, just one of the only spots in Oregon House. We've come here 3 times now. We came back…read moreout here because of the beautiful Sierra views of the woods. But each time I've tried to give this place a chance they have failed. Waste of so much money. The only reason it gets two stars is the young women who are working the front of the house. They are so kind and sweet, however not knowledgeable of the wine. It seems ironic to have local vineyards and cannot taste some of the wines by the glass? Also, the "local" wineries are private or you have to have an appointment!? Phone numbers do not work. And the only place to "taste" the wine is Clover Cafe? Very odd and not normal coming from the Bay Area/Napa. "Renaissance wine" what's up with your wine? And that vineyard. Weird vibes and the lady at the gate when protecting this vineyard told me to go to Clover Cafe and made us seem like we couldn't afford the wine at their "private" winery! Weird. The restaurant when you pull up is on the corner of the main road and has lots of parking, the inside of the restaurant and outside are pretty nice! Lots of space. However; the food takes 20-30 minutes to come out and when it comes out the presentation is not appealing, and the food from the menu described is not what is served. The BBQ pork sandwich was soggy. And the fries over cooked. The breaded chicken sandwich was also sloppy and is bigger than the bun. The tomales Bay blue cheese spinach and walnut salad is only spinach with crumbles of blue cheese and walnuts and dressing sloped all over the place. It had minimal flavor. The barbecue sauce on the barbecue slider was also had a strong vinegar taste. The wine was not good, it was very pricy as well. The wine tastes like old wood and had other little pieces of debris flowing in it because the glasses were dirty and had spots all over them and that has happened to me each time. I have ordered wine here twice. This is based on giving them a second chance. Being that this is supposed to be "an upscale restaurant" for the town you would think that they would keep things clean and make sure they are everything. Also, the town has a weird vibe in Oregon Town. Like I said the young women working are the only thing keeping the customer service and place alive. I definitely will not be coming back to Oregon House being this second/3rd experience was the worst. Sadly this seems like they pick and choose the chosen and everything is private property. Will not be back in Oregon house.

We asked for a table outside because she can't hear well, and the cafe was bustling and loud. The staff seated us, but had to move tables around outside. The hostess and a "regular" of the cafe said things like "this is what we do in a tourist economy." "We have to accommodate the tourists." As if we were a bother and they were bending over backward to accommodate us. Because my mother in law was there, and she is emotionally raw right now, I avoided conflict. So I'll say now, what I wanted to say to those snarky, rude employees Thursday: My husband's family has had a plot in the Taylorsville cemetery for longer than those two ladies been alive -- combined. His grandmother had 2 restaurants in Greenville. His mother is a fixture in the community, living through the Dixie fire and coming back to rebuild her life. Now she'll bury her husband there. My sister and brother in law worked in public service in Quincy for decades. We aren't tourists. And even if we were, you were incredibly unwelcoming. You made a sad day worse. The food was fine.
