The burgers were fantastic! I wanted to eat more lol the spicy Jack burger was my favorite. Very tasty and I love the tiny crispiness on the patty. Our orders didn't take too long which was great since I was famished! This place inside the packing district. Parking was slightly hard to find for me since street parking was full on a fri early evening. Found a parking structure that was not too far of a walk. Plus you have few breweries waking distance which was awesome! They have a HH drinks and sides deal M-F. Got a modelo for $4! The Mac and cheese was surprisingly good. I've always walked passed this place at the packing house and noticed people ordering fries and I thought that was all they sold until the other night! My friend and I decided to try this spot and finally actually saw what other items they offered. Upon ordering , seating is very limited here and they have very very limited beer on tap. I ordered the Braised Beef fries from the menu which clearly state that it is $13.95 on the menu, however upon completing my transaction on the kiosk ON MY OWN which you have to pick up yourself when they send you a text (no text was sent so my food got cold). Due to the fact that I ordered myself and no service was required for my order other than the sole making of food myself, I put "no tip". When I got home I get a notification that the amount they charged onto my card is $17.54, which means including the anaheim tax of 7.75% the order itself should come out to be $15.03. So I calculated the difference and realized they SELF ADDED an 18% for TIPS when I clearly selected no tip due to the self service. While browsing through their menu, I was having a hard time trying to decide because everything sounded so good. I was leaning towards the Country Fried Chicken, but my bf decided he was going for the Chicken Tikka Masala and I didn't want two orders of fries. The order came out rather quickly and the sauce to fries ratio looked good. One complaint I did have was that they called it a Chicken Tikka Masala, but it was so hard to find the pieces of chicken. After looking at all the food stalls in the Anaheim Packing House, we decided on The Kroft and ordered the Braised Beef Melt sandwich and Porchetta sandwich. The braised beef melt ($10) comes with 5 hour braised beef, brown gravy, Monterey Jack cheese, pickled red onions, and seasoned arugula on ciabatta bread. It definitely not bad, but I didn't find it spectacular either. The porchetta sandwich ($10) comes with pork belly, salsa verde, and caramelized onions also on ciabatta bread. It was also a good sandwich, but I wasn't blown away as well. I'm not exactly sure why as all the ingredients are good, but the sandwich in whole lacked the wow factor. Ordered 1 burger and 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 pepsi drink though Uber Eats to be delivered to a residential address on Janette Lane, Anaheim CA 92802. 1- In spite of the fact that very clearly we said "no mayo, no sauce in all 3 items", the food arrived loaded with mayo/pink sauce inside. 2 - The soda drink was missing from the delivery. 3 - We contacted Uber Eats to complain about the botched order, and they just shrugged and told us to beat it and "contact the merchant". We ordered the braised short rib poutine during our visit to the Anaheim Packing District.The fries are slightly crispy and yet soft. The beef was juicy and bursting with flavor; seasoned and cooked to perfection, tender and more than enough for each mouthful. The short rib and fries are drizzled with brown gravy that is a bit salty; but I guess that's how most poutines are. There was pickled onions on top which were so good along with some mushrooms and cheese curds. So been coming to kroft since they opened. Since then, a lot has changed. They have additional things on their menu, more variety, it's pretty busy, pretty much all the time, and service is pretty slow. I can't say they have the best service because they don't. I do think their food is good. It's kinda still unique till this day, and I crave it from time to time. I tried their burger recently, and its yum. I think as with a lot of restaurants, as they gain popularity, their food quality goes down. A few of the last time I visited in person (last year or so, the most recent being last month), the food portions seemed smaller and the fries (which they're known for) were kinda soggy. My friend and I ordered Doordash from here as well, and we were REALLY disappointed. Considering most of what they sell are fried, their togo boxes did not have anything inside to absorb the oil, and we literally received all of our items with oil pooling on the bottom of the box. Lesson learned, no more togo. Other than that, I think I will continue to visit when I'm in the mood, but honestly, ehhh. Better spots out there for what you get for the price. read more
