This review is for Jeff the tattoo artist. We had an awesome experience with Jeff. He was professional, very skilled, very patient and genuinely a nice guy. I loved that he offered us an appointment at the last minute and made it happen! My sister was going in for her 1st tattoo and we were all excited! We did matching tattoos and it was just a simple typewriter font of our mother's name. Very clean lines and it came out so nice! Jeff was so kind that he even let my daughter who was hanging around for support get a tattoo as well. Best part it was painless! In fact--I found to be very therapeutic?! Placement was under the chin. He has a "light hand", very gentle. Jeff understands safety, sterile technique and was very safe and clean during the entire procedure. I watched the guy prep, he is careful and very thoughtful-I felt cared for like how I would take care of my own patients. To me, that is everything! He was not in a rush, took his time. I just got another incredible haircut from Greg at the new location: which is now in the Rossmoor shopping center and across from Wells Fargo. Its one of the suites that's part of Salons by JC. Super easy to find & tons of parking. Not only that but the inside of the salon suites has lots of amenities if you have to wait: comfortable seating, tea, coffee, water, etc. It's a smaller space but the perfect size because there is only one hairdresser at any time. They arrange the booking that way, so it was just Greg and me and plenty of space, and he had all his usual tools and accoutrements. So basically everything was the same except a different location the same high quality haircut for a low price and now Mandy does the booking separately so you call or text the number and she will set you up. Once again I'm satisfied and relieved that the Krome studio is up and running !!! read more

My previous, long-time stylist announced her retirement during the pandemic closures, so once salons were able to reopen, I needed to search for a new stylist. The Krome Studio was very prompt in making an appt for me, even though I wasn't a previous client. They were adhering to the safety guidelines currently in place: I saw that everyone inside was wearing masks (stylists also wore gloves), my temperature was taken, and I was offered hand sanitizer. The overall appearance of the studio was very clean and cared for. My stylist, Greg, was very personable and made me feel at ease being in a new salon. I described what I wanted done with leaving the length but cleaning up my grown-out layers. He knew exactly what I wanted and never tried to change my mind. In the end, I am SO pleased with the outcome! I believe I've found my new stylist and salon, and can't wait to go back to see what they can do with color! :D read more

COVID19 Review I've been getting both my hair and my son's hair cut at the Krome Studio for some time and very much looked forward to its reopening. I wanted to write this review to highlight some of the safety measures the salon has taken to keep its customers safe. When both my son and I entered the salon, we were asked to sanitize our hands and they also took our temperature as well. And of course face masks are required. Each station is cordoned off in a way that you're not sharing the space with another customer with a hand sanitizing dispenser at each station for your use. It was explained to me that each of the stations are sanitized before and after a customer uses it and that each cape is used once per customer and then laundered at the end of the day. I was happy with the safety protocols put in place by the salon and felt very safe for both myself and my son to get our hair cuts there! read more

I knew that I wanted my next hairstyle to be a mohawk, but didn't know where exactly to go. My previous alternative hairstyles (including a mohawk a few years ago) had been done by a stylist in Campbell, but I didn't see her name on the salon's website. So, knowing I was going to have to take a risk with a new stylist, I decided to stick a little bit closer to home. After research and yelp reviews, I came across Krome Studio and decided to give them a chance. I am so very glad I did! I called and set up my appointment with the incredibly helpful receptionist who, after I described what I wanted, paired me up with a stylist she thought would be a good match. I went in and found out my stylist was Krome, the owner himself. I immediately felt a good vibe coming from him and was happy to see that he was rather excited when I showed him the example of the style I wanted. During the appointment, he was incredibly personable while still working professionally and showing off his skills. And the end result is exactly what I wanted -- a fun mohawk with room to shape and mess with however I'd like. While I'm not one of those people who goes to the salon as often as they should for upkeep, I will absolutely be returning to Krome after the growing out process to see what else he can do with a pair of scissors. read more

I don't usually like to leave reviews, but after coming here and getting my hair done, I knew I had to! This was my first time here and Mary did my hair. She was sweet and amazing! I needed a hair cut & my bleached hair to be re-bleached and fixed. I also wanted to make the color lighter (I wanted an ashy blonde). She did exactly what I wanted and it came out amazing!! She gave me advice on how to treat my hair as well, and even told me about particular products that would help. I purchased a purple shampoo from them to help keep the blonde from going brassy. Also, she got the job done in a timely manner & the pricing was such a great deal. A few days after my appointment, Mary gave me a call and left me a voice message saying she had an idea for my hair color. Unfortunately, I was out of town in a mountain area with no connection, so I didn't see her message until I got back. My point here is that I have never had any stylist follow up with me & give me an idea for my hair - so this really made me happy. This just shows how caring and thoughtful she is! :) Everyone else who worked there was friendly, sweet, and welcoming. Krome was super helpful and very outgoing! Even the lady working the front desk was super nice! I really love this place and will definitely be back. It's nice to have a stylist & place that you can trust so well. Greg has been cutting my hair for a while now and I keep coming back because he gets it right every time and actually seems to understand what I want done. I am so extremely happy that I decided to go with my gut and come here. They have one tattoo artist and he is amazing! I have done a lot of keratin treatments till date but this one at The Krome Studio was the best!!! It's been two months now and my hair still looks like the keratin was done yesterday. He explained all the steps before and throughout the process and he was extremely patient throughout the treatment and didn't rush it at all. I went to The Krome Studio last Sunday to have my eyebrows done. It a new service that finally was able to open. Jeff the artist was so professional and great at attenion to deals, from what you were expecting and checking with me about medicines I was on that make might have isues for him to be aware of. Example I take blood thinners, so he was ready for me to possibly be a bleeder. Is explanation of what was going to go on put me completely at ease. It was truly a comfortable experience. Marc is AMAZING. I admittedly was bummed when my usual hairstylist based in SF had to shut down because of COVID. My hair needed a major touch up after several months but I'm so reluctant to try new stylists because I'm very particular about my hair color. I was nervous to try someone new but when I walked into this place and met Marc, I felt instantly at home. He has such a great soul and really takes the time to understand what you're looking for. Krome Studio's newest location is in such a nice little part of the Saranap area! Super close to Saint Marys College, Las Lomas, WCI, and a few other schools in the area.
