Never been to this Kahwa but I had a gift card and I wanted to try some holiday flavors after the gym! Parking (during the weekday) with Parkmobile was free for the first hour - but be sure to use the app. The staff was super kind. They had christmas vibes already (in november) and I was mad it. Santa seats. Festive Kahwa shirts and coffee bean bags. The they ornaments hanging from the ceiling and snow on the windows! They have a kiosk ordering system or you can order with barista. They were pretty quick. My dad got the Black forest cold brew and I got the cookie butter chai Not a fan of chocolate so didn't try the cold brew but it was cold brew w cherry flavoring and a chocolate cold foam. My cookie butter chai was amazing. It was the perfect hot temperature - didn't burn my self but also still warmed me up. They have a cool Ripple machine so she didn't do latte art unfortunately - but the ripple puts images on your lattes and it's so neat and perfect. I didn't see any restrooms but also wasn't looking. I LOVE getting my morning coffee here- but is anyone else over togo staff workers asking for a tip? I find it classless and rude to have a customer (who isn't dining in) to not only be verbally asked to tip, but also to hold the card reader to pay. Management needs to get involved here and discontinue allowing staff to ask for a tip through a drive thru window. It truly makes me chose a different coffee place some mornings. read more

Worst Coffee I have ever put in my mouth. Barista attempts to steam my milk for an ice latte and lets the espresso keep pouring for the added water in my friend's americano. Ordered: 24oz Iced Pistachio Vanilla Latte (~$8): with oat milk Aya's take: Kahwa is the Arabic word for coffee (maybe other languages too) so I was excited to give it a try. Although inspired by coffee in Africa, they began their roasting locally in St. Petersburg. The Iced Pistachio Vanilla Latte was one of their seasonal offerings and although it definitely well-made with balanced sweetness and creaminess, I didn't really get much of the pistachio. It looked slightly different than photos/videos I saw (the pistachio syrup has more of a off-green tint that I didn't see here). Was trying to find some aesthetic coffee shops and this place caught my eye. The colors are inviting and cute on any Instagram feed. However, the drinks were a little subpar in my opinion. Tried the seasonal pecan latte and couldn't taste any of the flavorings, although it was iced so that could have played into it. The seasonal syrup is just store bought syrup, it's not a specialty coffee shop in my opinion. Very simple flavors and nothing too crazy unique compared to other shops. read more

I placed an online order and I accidentally forgot to add milk to my coffee. I asked if they could just put a splash of milk in there and she said no I'm going to remake it for you so I know that you are going to get a good coffee and a good experience. On the way back to our car from The Farmacy, we noticed this little coffee shop next door and decided to stop in for drinks. My husband ordered a nitro cold brew, and I got the Kahwa Fizz since I wanted something without caffeine. The coffee was some of the best coffee I've tasted, even better than Starbucks! The Kahwa fizz was basically raspberry syrup, club soda and plant based milk over ice & it was insanely delicious! I love Kahwa's iced latte with oat milk. It's consistently not too milky which other cafes often do, especially with oat milk because it's so creamy. I also love that their plastic is made from plants. It's nice to see a local cafe doing so well and choosing to take steps towards more eco friendly practices on their own. This is a quaint coffee shop downtown Tampa. The coffee was good but food selection is very limited. I ordered a cortadito (because they told me they knew how to make it and carry in their menu), a hot chocolate and a quiche. First of all, they didn't know what is a cortadito, which is expresso with a splash of milk and brown sugar. They just gave me a shot of expresso. Very disappointed when I tasted it. The hot chocolate was ok, but they didn't have peppermint which my kid prefers to be added. As for the quiche, it was cold and had to send back for additional heating. Then it came back burned and super dry. The staff was nice and courteous. read more

It would be better if they had more stools at the bar, preferably with some padding for those who are lacking in the booty department. ;-) The barista was friendly, baked goods case was full of different choices at 11am on a Sun. morning, & the beautiful colored flowers at the register popped! I sat outdoors for a couple minutes, but there were two smokers who took it upon themselves to sit in opposite areas, so the smoke drifted in my direction - I just left. So I am a pure black coffee drinker and this place hit the spot. I do not like adding a million different things to my coffee other than some sweet we here and there. The inside decore was super cute, and I loved the coffee bags that said "coffee from Brasil,Peru, and Costa Rica." The diversity and culture made me enjoy the experience in the shop even more. When I was there on a Sunday morning, it was not crowded at all, with plenty of seating available, and a few people reading, doing work, or hanging out with friends. The location in downtown Tampa is convenient, with plenty of other restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and parking within walking distance. Happen to pass by this place on my way to work. Check out the menu and tried out thier marshmallow mocha along with a vegan cinnamon roll. Gotta say the marshmallow mocha was a pretty good choice. The vegan Cinnamon Roll was okay, perhaps because I just happen to get a bad one or maybe i needed to warm it a up bit. But overall, it was good. The atmosphere was pleasant.
