Date of visit: August 31, 2025 The current fad du jour is Pop Mart's Labubus - the little female monsters with nine teeth, what look like bunny ears sticking up, and in different colors of various rarity (good luck if you pull a chestnut cocoa from one of the blind boxes) - as well as their various spinoffs. My fiancee is crazy about hers, and always wanted to check out The Labu'Tique Shop ever since the pop-up opened in Petco Park during SDCC. And since we both had some time available due to the Labor Day holiday, off we went! Let's get this out of the way: not only is The Labu'Tique Shop small (hence the reservation system that was in place during the summer), parking is pretty much non-existent... meaning it's surface street parking. But once you're inside, prepare to be assaulted by all forms of Labubu-themed cuteness, from the myriad of outfits and accessories to choose from (between $12-25, depending on the outfit), and various Labubus of different sizes, styles, and price ranges. My lady got a few pairs of glasses for her Soymilk Labubu, as well as a couple of outfits. Even I wasn't immune to their charms; I picked up the In-N-Out outfit and the San Diego Padres set that look like they'll fit my Disney NuiMos (they had sold out during the SDCC pop-up event; the staff admitted they'd been caught off guard by the demand for the merch). The staff are young, but friendly and helpful. And the vibe indoors matches their energy (especially since the flatscreen TV was playing the K-Pop Demon Hunters musical performances on repeat). If there's a sale going on and we have time and money to spend, we'll be back. read more

They are back in this location as far as I know. You need to follow them on instagram and check into the live cue when it's announced in order to shop at this store! It's honestly pretty easy:) The employees are all super kind and helpful! There's a huge selection of all things Popmart. Tons of accessories and blind boxes to shop:) They even have some confirmed available if you're looking for a specific character! Definitely check this place out if you're trying to find anything sold out from Popmart the prices are reasonable as well! read more

Waited in line for at least 20 minutes, went inside and there were no price tags, and they increased prices of one single small Needoh to around 45 dollars. The selection of squishes was good, but way too expensive for a 6 dollar squishie. read more

Overhyped and overrated. Came to this store during Yelp hours only to find out you need to make a reservation to get in. You wouldn't know that you need to join a waitlist unless you went through their Instagram page. They also sell the Labubus for 3x the market price. Anybody buying from this store is promoting resellers that buy up all the stock in those Popmart vending machines or Popmart online store. Parking is also excruciating because it's in a crowded residential area. Service was mediocre. They don't really help you especially when you know nothing about the Labubu craze. I just wanted to come in and buy one for the first time to see what's the hype. It's better just to buy one off EBay that is authentic and cheaper. read more

WOW!!! I AM NOW EVEN BEING FLAGGED FOR MY REAL PHOTO RECEIPTS OF CONVERSATION, clearly by the owner, to keep the coverup. I won't stop; No one should be lied to and robbed especially when you're dealing with kids who are desperate to just have one thing and their struggling parents still make it happen for them. Filmed 'give always' is all a staged joke. Dang, I have to give at least one star. Sales associate encouraged me to shop elsewhere when I questioned their overpriced items (two, maybe three very specific and more 'rare' items). As a hairdresser of 20 years, my mind was blown with that kind of customer service. The owner truly seems to be a good guy but I have been left with the nasty feeling that's it's only about celebrity, exposure and money. They'll treat you great while you shop but with constant price changes (I literally watched a bag over 3 days go from $90 to $75 to $60) and what seems to be favoritism and only a reach of a 5 star rating.. Stood in line for only a few minutes on our hunt for Needohs. The kid bouncer at the door chatted our ear off and then let us in. Kids working the register were super helpful. Prices were outrageous but that's everywhere if you're trying to buy Needohs. The store had bundled together some "mystery bags" with a variety of Needohs that you have to purchase blindly - my oldest daughter enjoyed that. Overall a fun and easy experience. read more

Came here yesterday for the first time. We've lived down the street for some time, but it was friends coming into town that saw it on Instagram that finally had us waiting in line! We were on the hunt for squishy dumplings, butter, and Needohs. We waited about 45 minutes and they opened promptly at 4. We were third in line. We got in fairly quickly. It's a tiny little shop, but full of stuff that's sold out everywhere marked up about 5x. However, how much is your time worth when searching endlessly? The guys inside were super nice and helpful. I felt totally rushed, but not because of the employees, but because there was so many other people waiting outside. They were very patient with my son as he couldn't figure out what he wanted. He ended up choosing a Pokémon toy that I'm certain I could have got somewhere else. He cried when we left because he really wanted a dumpling like his sister so I'm sure we will be back to wait in that line sometime soon! My daughter immediately opened her big and small dumpling as soon as she walked out the doors and the smaller one had a hole in it. She marched right back in and the older gentleman gave her no grief and immediately replaced it. I was highly impressed as she would have been super bummed, but also he didn't have the obligation to do so! We will see them again very soon for a dumpling for my son and I'm sure much more as will I likely consider standing in that Grinch line next year! read more

Labu'Tique is a great place to buy Labubus and the accessories. Significantly easier than trying to buy from PopMart at MSRP because the app is impossible. You must register appointments before opening on Instagram but the link is not readily available. The prices are also more than MSRP at street market price. The parking is very limited due to the location and being a small facility. For these reasons, I am neutral. Plan ahead and happy labu shopping read more

This place is always stocked! They're really nice here and they gave me free peeps and lollipops, the only thing I dislike are the prices of the Needohs, they could be a little lower but it's okay because Needohs are really rare right now. I'd recommend this place! read more

You must have a reservation to come here, although if you follow their IG sometimes they do late night open hours. The staff were all nice and incredibly patient and they do have quite a selection. Be mindful when coming here that they charge $68 for an unopened Labubu but also had a few unopened as well for only a few dollars less as well as other Pop Mart items all priced higher than than they cost normally. My niece really wanted a Labubu and they had an opened Big Into Energy in the color she hoped for so I splurged for her but I regret it. They didn't even have the box it came in (which made no sense to me) but they did have the card that came with it. Real talk - I've even seen some places around selling them (glass shops, tea shops, souvenir shops, etc.). If you can be patient and wait to find one at another store for a normal price at many vendor markets that pop up in the Long Beach/Anaheim areas (Saturday markets at the Hangar LBX, 4th Fridays on 4th St.) I would do that if you want to save some money and the hassle of a reservation system. Rude owners and no sign about opening hours. Also this store is in a sketchy area. We were there at 12 and asked the owners when it would open, they ignored us and kept talking to each other. Then they snapped and told us to wait near the sign entrance. We left after 15 minutes, go to the Labubu clothing store in Cerritos mall, nicer people working there and better selection. read more
