We are regulars to the landing usually one to two times a month. The food is typical bar food, drinks are a decent price however the service in particular the outside bartender/waitress is not the friendliest person. Always seems to have a chip on her shoulder and is most of the time just plain rude. The other servers are very friendly and nice. Located in a nothing special strip mall, the restaurant has a corner area with some outdoor seating, but it's right with the traffic passing. Inside is dark and bar like, so to speak. Earlier I wrote a negative review regarding my poor experience with The Landing. To review: my order was canceled past the time it was scheduled to be here and when I called them I received no satisfactory explanation. It was an extremely annoying and frustrating experience. However, this morning I received a call from Vincent ( General Manager). After speaking to him we came upon an agreement that was satisfactory to both of us. We used a Local Flavor coupon, which was a $30 coupon which we purchased for $15. On a Tuesday at 5:30, we were easily seated and Melanie was our server. I can't remember the last time we had service so good. She was attentive during our entire time there. This place was much larger than I expected and felt very clean. The menu was typical bar food with a few other entrees on for good measure. I settled on a chicken cheesesteak with fries, which was an up charge of $2. My food arrived steaming hot, which I love. We sat outside on the patio, Lauren was our very patient server. She was great! We ordered Bills White Pizza, chicken tenders, and a Black & Blue burger with bacon and grilled onions... The pizza was very tasty... it's not a thin crust, but not thick either... there was butter and garlic on the crust( we were hesitant about this, but ordered it as it is on the menu... we usually like olive oil and garlic) but it turned out to be delicious. There was a perfect ratio of cheese and tomatoes, and it was served piping hot from the oven. We would have preferred slices of tomatoes rather than the diced tomatoes on it. The burger was served with very crispy, fresh, ruffled potato chips... it was huge! Cooked to perfection, medium rare... the toppings of crisp bacon, onions, and Bleu cheese were fantastic... the roll was a touch dry. Atmosphere - Great! The restaurant as a fun feel when you enter. It is basically a sports bar with large screen televisions throughout the restaurant. There is a bar in the middle with a combination of tables and booths inside. There also is a screened in patio dining area. It is pretty noisy inside as well. Service - Very good. Despite the recent reviews complaining about services. However, this was not my experience. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Food - Disappointing. Although I may have enjoyed my meal had I ordered something different, I went with traditional bar food. I ordered a baked onion soup and a cheeseburger with potato chips. As you can see in the picture, the soup was clearly left under the broiler way too long. The cheese was so burnt that the entire topping of cheese and breading was so hard that it was inedible. The broth was tasty and so had the topping not been so badly burnt it would have been a good soup. My cheeseburger was very dry, despite it being cooked to a medium temperature. Overall Value - The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great. Assuming that I just had a one off bad experience with the meal I ordered, this could be a very good value. read more

We had a beautiful lunch outside on a cloudy day at the landing. It was not so busy when we got there so we placed drink orders and got to look at the menu, we decided on blackened fish nuggets for an appetizer and a pizza for the main plus a grilled cheese for my son. The nuggets came out quickly which helped because our pizza and kids meals took almost 30min to get to our table. We did play with the jenga set they had outside in the mean time. When the pizza finally came out we were ready to eat it was good they do add a lot of cheese so if your any kind of lactose intolerant this isn't for you. The Landing Bar and Grill is a no frills spot for cold beer, excellent food an a fun atmosphere. I met a couple friends here to watch the Lightning Game Monday night. I arrived to a very busy parking lot, part of which was blocked off with people playing cornhole. I found a spot and ventured on in. The glow of tv's and the smell of good food filled the air. I took a seat at one of the few high-tops with my friends. The server was around quickly and grabbed my order for a Miller Light. We sat and talked, had some beers and ate an appetizer of buffalo fried shrimp. The shrimp were a good size, breaded and crispy and smothered in a tangy buffalo sauce. Slightly spicy but not bad at all. They hit the spot. We ended up ordering a 2nd one. The cold beer was a refreshing wash down. The game was on and the place was pretty busy. We all ordered food as well. My friends got the boneless chicken wings which were BOGO. They each got 20 boneless wings for half price. I ordered the smokehouse burger on a pretzel bun. The food was out pretty quick. My burger had bbq sauce, fried onion rings, bacon and cheese. I asked for it to be cooked medium but there was no pink in it at all. The meat however, was still juicy, flavorful and not dry at all. The pretzel bun added a great flavor and texture over a traditional bun and I was glad I paid the extra $1.50 or so for that. The side was just potato chips. Traditional ruffles, no flavor. I'm never really impressed with a side of chips, since you literally just dump them out of a bag. I could have substituted it for any number of sides for an extra charge but did not do so. I tried a boneless wing from my friend and they were really good. I decided to order some to take home to my wife. She very much enjoyed them. I will be back here to try more food items. They have an large menu with tons of options. New to town and had our first visit at The Landings. The service was AMAZING!! We had Lauren and she was both attentive and friendly. Although she was our waitress, every time we ordered something (a drink, an app, the entree, more drinks.. ) someone different delivered it. It was so quick and easy. They truly all worked together! I had a fantastic lunch today and the staff and owner made sure it was great. My Buffalo friend went to The Landing for their Wednesday special of beef on Weck. I had some really good ones in Buffalo this past summer and I've been a fan of the sandwich for years. The landings is one of the best I've ever had. The beef is outstandingly, tender, perfectly cooked they give you the horseradish and the extra au jus the Kimmelweck roll with the salt, and the caraway seeds is fantastic. I had the mashed potatoes and gravy which were scrumptious and my friend had crispy crinkle cut fries with gravy. Wednesday They also feature a hot roast beef sandwich which I've had in the past and is most excellent. They have a good variety on their menu and specials. I saw the owner/manager? Jump into action when needed to seat a 4 top deliver food and my to go order. I have a ton of respect for people who work together. Finally my to go order was expertly and neatly packaged. After hearing about this place from friends, I finally tried it. I stopped by for lunch on a Friday about 2. It wasn't busy and I was seated right away. The menu has all sorts of options, from salads to pizza to burgers and other sandwiches, but I went for one of the flatbreads. Ohhh, it was a good choice! The Greek was so filling and delicious! It was also huge-like falling off the plate big. I should have been dainty and taken some home, but I went for it. So good! I also chose the mango jalapeño margarita. It wasn't frozen (yay!) and had just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Enjoyed it, but I think I'll try one of their many martinis next time. There's plenty of parking, and indoor, outdoor and high top bar seating... plus, the restaurant is tucked into a peaceful area. I really wanted a Bloody Mary for my birthday on a sunday . This place opened at 1200 . Service was impeccable- fully staffed and friendly. I ordered the giant fish fry w Mac salad fries and slaw . My ten year old had the beer burger and he thought it was the best burger of his life . As a bonus there was a small arcade section . The food was delicious fresh and my spicy Bloody Mary ( omg yesss). I took a picture. The outside has a little pier and is on a large pond with fountain. There were some other patrons on the large outside area and smoking is allowed outside , cool with me I like to smoke sometimes, but I sat inside with my son. Fantastic food, strong drinks and very efficient waitstaff. Even when I stopped by here with a party of 8 last Monday (Memorial Day), the waitstaff did not skip a beat. My wife and I have been going to The Landing for a few years. I guess there is no better compliment to a restaurant than folks revisiting and recommending it. They've earned it through really good gastro pub food, beer offering and service. A neighbor recommended this place to us for its pizza, so we had to give it a try. Located not far from Fishhawk, this spot is a casual eatery which has a tented outdoor dining area and ample seating at the bar snd dining area. There are lots of TVs inside for sports fanatics and the inside decor has a pub-like feel. My husband liked the 12" Supreme Pizza, which had a crisp garlic, buttery crust and well balanced marinara sauce. He enjoyed it very much. I had the 12" Bill's White Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. I really enjoyed the crispiness of the garlic buttery crust and the generous amount of mozzarella. The pepperoni and sausage had good flavor, but I felt the pizza was missing a creamy white sauce to add more depth to the flavor of the pizza. The Elvis Cake had a delicious and moist banana cake, but since it was kept refrigerated, the buttercream frosting was hard until it reached room temperature. I felt that there was too much peanut butter sauce, which over powered the other flavors of the cake. Just a little would have been perfect. The cake was topped with whipped cream and candied bacon, which was another miss. The bacon tasted stale and was not crispy like I would expect from candied bacon. This restaurant has daily specials and it serves a prime rib dinner on Saturdays. I will have to try it for my next visit. The wait staff seemed attentive and we got our food in good time. read more

Yes, I recommend the food here. Hubby and I were in the area and wanted some pizza. My trusty Yelp App lead us to The Landing Bar & Grill. We are so glad it did. The pizza was really good. We ordered half veggie and half meat lovers. Plenty of toppings and great taste. The menu had a number of items we haven't seen on menus. So we also ordered the Salmon Cakes and Pierogies. Ahh man it all was so so good. The Salmon Pattie's are huge with a sauce that is sprinkled over it that enhances the flavor. The Pierogies were something new to us but very very tasty. Hubby demolished those. Now the four stars is only for the food because the service from our waitress was terrible. Although seems to be nice she was very very forgetful. I had to keep reminding her of things we asked for, never refilled our drinks, and when we first got there and needed a minute to look things over didn't come back yo see if we were ready.
